Yeah I'm back to Quarterbacks and I skipped a few weeks.
I will hand out meaningless awards and give near meaningless uneducated insight into the games and teams.
Since I did this way back in week 1, I will include their previous rank and maybe give out some awards for going up or down in the rankings this time.
Also I think I'm gonna switch this series over to QBs entirely but who knows (by golly I don't).
Quarterbacks
Ramza was unable to find their targets for most of the night. Unable to get much of anything going in the air the Otters lost by 6 points.
Ramza dropped the most since week 1.
I award you (more like demerit you with unfortunately) the Oof Ouch Owie Award!

Quarterbacks
- Nick Kaepercolin - 17/26, 249 Yards, 2 TD, 0 Int Rating 122.1 (Lost 27 - 33)
Previous Ranking: 5 Change: Up 4
Coming in at the top of our list despite a tough loss to the Hawks is Nick Kaepercolin. Hard to deny a solid statline and a rating like this. Both of their TDs came in the fourth quarter but they weren't exactly garbage time. The Fire Salamanders defense kept them in this game by returning an interception for a TD late in the 3rd Quarter and Kaepercolin tried their best to capitalize on that with Accurate passing and a pair of TDS. Protecting the ball well by not throwing any interceptions was key but unfortunately without more help the Fire Salamanders weren't able to lock this one in and lost by only 6 points.
Kaepercolin climbed the rankings 4 spots from my week 1 rankings.
I award you with the Sometimes love just isn't enough Award!
- George O’Donnell - 26/44, 370 Yards, 3 TD, 0 Int, Rating 109.1 (Won 34-24)
Previous Ranking: 13 Change: Up 11
Coming in second on this list is George O'Donnell who amassed 370 Yards in the air and tossed three touchdowns in a 10 point win over the Yeti. O'Donnell was consistent through the air for the entire night and was able to throw a TD for nearly every quarter. The only reason O'Donnell isn't first is due to the number of attempted passes here and its a damn shame I suppose. But its no small feat to try to throw the Ball 44 Times in a game and not accidentally throwing it to the wrong team. Hell of a Win here for the Butchers.
O'Donnell climbed a whooping 11 Spots, making them the highest climber out of the bunch, Ranked nearly last in week one its very clear that the Butchers QB got it together and their record definitely reflects that.
I award you with the Cliffhangers Award (Yodel away my friend)!
- Colby Jack - 20/31 229 Yards, 3 TD 1 Int Rating 105.4 (won 33 - 31)
Previous Ranking: 4 Change: Up 1
Tight win here by Colby Jack and the Wraiths but there's a reason they are first in the Division. Colby Jack knows how to win close games, Only incompleting on 11 passes and throwing 3 TDs was enough to get them the win over the Liberty. Colby Jack did throw a massive pick 6 in the third quarter but was able to come back and throw a TD pass later in the Quarter. The Wraiths defense was able to keep the Liberty out of the endzone for the second half of the game and for that they were the real MVP here.
Colby Jack moved up 1 spot in the rankings.
I award you with the Consistency is Key Award!
- Chika Fujiwara- 30/50 464 Yards, 3 TD, 1 Int Rating 102.4 (Won 33-27)
Previous Ranking: 10 Change: Up 6
Fujiwara nearly threw for 500 yards in this 6 point win. Just think about that, attempted 50 passes and threw for 464 yards and 3 TDs. That is absolutely wild and almost entirely the reason they won this game. The ground game was only able to pick up 47 yards. Fujiwara threw a pick 6 in the third but it didn't matter in the end because of the lead the Hawks put up in the first 3 quarters. Fujiwara was a true gunslinger in this matchup and it paid off.
Fujiwara was able to climb up 6 spots from week 1 and for a team that hasn't exactly been able to put it together this season that's not bad at all.
I award you with the What the hell is Brett Favre doing here?! ("I'm in town to play the Dolphins ya dumbass") Award!
- Jay Cue - 22/40 307 Yards, 2 TD, 0 Int Rating 96.6 (Won 26 - 20)
Previous Ranking: 3 Change: Down 2
Cue was able to put up 307 yards and a nice pair of touchdowns in a 6 point win over the Sabercats. With a little help from a rushing TD in overtime Cue was able to be steady and keep this game in the hands of the Outlaws. Protecting the ball is key in this type of a close game and Cue did that by not throwing the ball to a different color team. Cue threw a 16 yard TD pass at the very end of third quarter to tie them up and allow them to latch onto it until they could lock in the win in OT.
Cue moved down 2 Rankings from week 1 but still stays in the top 5 so that is some solid performance.
I award you with the Clutch Award!
- Luke Skywalker - 22/33, 279 Yards, 1 TD, 1 Int, Rating 90.3 (Won 26-20)
Previous Ranking: 14 Change: Up 8
Skywalker was able to complete a decent amount of their passes and toss a TD in their win over the Otters. Without the Pick here they would undoubtedly find themselves higher on the rankings but that's the way she goes sometimes. With a couple of rushing TDs and some solid QB play they got the victory and that is all that matters. Its important to note that the TD pass was for 21 yards and that's nice. Considering Skywalker was dead last and looked more like a runningback in week 1 than a Quarterback that is a marked improvement for the QB. Looking good.
I award you with the Blue Fight Milk (*Crow Noises*) Award!
- Easton Cole - 21/32, 272 Yards, 1 TD, 1 Int, Rating 89.7 (Lost 17-23)
Previous Ranking: 12 Change: Up 5
Cole was able to put up 272 yards and a TD against the Silverbacks in a tough 6 point loss. Cole was able to find the endzone in the first quarter but after that wasn't able to throw a TD pass. Cole threw an Interception that resulted in a FG for the silverbacks and you can bet they want that one back in this tight of a game. Other than that Cole was solid for most of the day in finding their targets and did everything they could to win the game. If the copperheads found a way to rush a little more in this game it could have easily gone the other way but Football can be messy and this game was a grinding messy type of game, and those tend to swing either way.
Cole was able to Climb 5 spots since week 1
I award you with the Andy Dalton Scale Award!
- Mattathias Caliban - 20/35, 309 Yards, 1 TD, 1 Int, Rating 84.1 (Lost 24-34)
Previous Ranking: 9 Change: Up 1
Caliban threw for a solid 309 Yards in this 10 point loss but was only able to find the Endzone once and also found a defenders loving arms once as well. Its important to note that their interception was at the end of the game and really only served to seal a tough loss and damage Calibans QB rating. Really it was the Yetis secondary that lost this game for them, allowing the opposing Quarterback to absolutely dominate them through the air.
Caliban was able to climb 1 spot since the week 1 rankings
I award you with the Its probably not your fault Award!
- Mike Boss Jr - 17/35, 252 Yards, 1 TD, 0 Int, Rating 82.1 (Lost 13-27)
Previous Ranking: 11 Change: Up 2
As we get lower into the rankings this is where its going to get increasingly difficult to say nice things. Boss Jr was able to throw a TD in this one but it didn't matter much as the Sailfish couldn't seem to keep it together in other areas. Boss Jr couldn't seem to find an open receiver on much of their passes but the real issue is that the Sailfish Defense couldn't stop the two headed Rushing attack of the Second line. The Sailfish allowed nearly 200 yards on the ground and I daresay its not the fault of the Quarterback that the defense couldn't seem to get a stop when they needed to.
Boss Jr rose 2 ranks since week 1
I award you with the Maybe you need larger barn sized receivers Award!
- Ben Slothlisberger - 20/38, 267 Yards, 2 TD, 1 Int, Rating 81.8 (Won 27-13)
Previous Ranking: 7 Change: Down 3
Slothlisberger ranks below their opponents QB here but I'm sure it doesn't hurt their feelings too much. Solthlisberger was able to find the endzone twice and tossed a pretty irrelevant pick. The duel attack of the Second line was the real MVP in this game as their RBs amassed a ton of yards in this game, since the whole game didn't rest of Slothlisbergers shoulders they did plenty to get a solid win over the Sailfish.
Slothlisberger dropped 3 ranks since week 1
I award you with the Buy that Oline some ATVs or some shit Award!
- Brock Phoenix - 27/45, 335 Yards, 3 TD, 3 Int Rating 77.5 (lost 31 - 33)
Previous Ranking: 8 Change: Down 2
Phoenix was able to throw 3 TDs in this tight loss over the Wraith but they also found the opposing defense 3 times. Accounting for the most interceptions in this list Phoenix had a rough day and absolutely lost this game for the Liberty as 2 of the interceptions resulted in Touchdowns for the Wraith. If Phoenix took better care of the ball this could have been a blowout for the liberty but instead they lost by 2 points. Phoenix is going to have nightmares about this game for weeks.
Phoenix dropped 2 rankings since week 1
I award you with the Seeing Ghosts Award!
- Sam Howitzer - 22/39, 284 Yards, 1 TD, 2 INT Rating 66.6 (Won 23 - 17)
Previous Ranking: 1 Change: Down 11
Howitzer threw a TD in this 6 point win over the copperheads but also gave the ball up twice. With a passer rating that would cause pearl clutching and Hail Mary's of a different kind this was not a great game for them. But the Silverbacks got the win and for that I am thrilled. Howitzer is looking to bounce back in an important week 14 matchup tonight.
Howitzer dropped 11 spots since week 1 but somehow is not the biggest drop on this list.
I award you with the Mark of the beast Award!
- Monterey "Monty" Jack - 24/46, 275 Yards, 1 TD, 2 Int, Rating 59.6 (Lost 20-26)
Previous Ranking: 6 Change: Down 6
Monty wasn't able to get much going in this game, completing just a little over half of their passes and throwing 2 picks in a 6 point loss. When a game is this close you have to play better.
Monty dropped 6 spots since week 1.
I award you with the Stinky but not the good kind of stinky cheese Award!
- Suleiman Ramza - 15/37, 166 Yards, 0 TD, 0 Int Rating 54.6 (Lost 20-26)
Ramza was unable to find their targets for most of the night. Unable to get much of anything going in the air the Otters lost by 6 points.
Ramza dropped the most since week 1.
I award you (more like demerit you with unfortunately) the Oof Ouch Owie Award!
