In my pursuit of making more money because I went broke buying Dotts cards…I’m going to review my former DSFL team, the Norfolk Seawolves. We’ll take a look at the roster and see what the future has in store for this team by position. I’m going off the roster section and I’ve been assured that it’s updated and ready to go! The first question I did have was what a ‘seawolf’ was. Is it a wolf? Is it a submarine? Is it a whale? Lots of things came up when I googled for gifs. As I couldn’t find a definitive answer, I decided to include what I felt like. So, let’s go!
@bex
The social media campaign worked! The Norfolk fans have spoken loud and clear: #BringBexHome #NorfolkBestFolk #SeawolfClarke. There’s probably more there, but we are excited and over the moon to bring back one of the most highly sought-after users in the league and glad that Clarke will be in Norfolk for many seasons to come. A mobile quarterback is going to work wonders in the run heavy DSFL if the new sim is similar to the old one. Clarke is already a well-rounded quarterback with decent IQ, accuracy, and arm strength so Norfolk can solidify one of their biggest problems from last season and begin anew in the Norfolk Clarke era. WE DID IT!!!
Running Back: Archie Griffin – 83 TPE
@Archinity
Norfolk lost their high TPE runningback duo last season due to call-ups and were looking to replace them as quick as possible. They may have found a gem in Griffin, the power back from Michigan. He’s off to a good start with some strength and speed built up. Let’s hope he can get back on the forums and active to maintain the run game for the team since he’s the only back they have.
Wide Receivers: Sam the Onion Man – 157 TPE, Joseph Radetzky – 293 TPE, Lalo Salamanca – 213 TPE
@Duilio05 , @StevenOSullivan , @Fordhammer
Clarke will be blessed with not one, but two returning wide receivers with Radetzky leading the corps of catchers at max DSFL TPE. This is great news for the new quarterback since she’ll have really dependable targets in Radetzky and Salamanca while the Onion Man gets his bearings in the DSFL. Once he starts adding on layers of TPE goodness, he’ll be a ringer for rookie of the year awards for sure. Norfolk starts off the next season with some great receivers!
Tight Ends: Jeff Gray – 50 TPE, Holton Hillburn – 50 TPE, Vilhjálmur Kueblerson – 73 TPE
@ benELF , @ hillsteady , @Prime
The Seawolves drafted 2 new tight ends but it looks like they got lost on the way to training camp because neither has been seen on the site since their initial starts. Maybe the team will luck out and one of these guys will show up late in the game and start updating again. Stranger things have happened for sure. Luckily the team has a trusty and dependable tight end with Kueblerson returning this season. He’ll be enough for the team to get by since they’ve got such good receivers. Maybe Kueblerson will get back to updating soon and earn a few more TPE to really bolster their blocking and receiving on offense.
Offensive Line: Rudy Gray – 52 TPE, Mr. Poop – 57 TPE
@Magnet , @ ToadStyle
These guys have just gotten started, but I think Rudy Gray will be a stand out among his offensive line peers. He’s done one update and it looks like he’s been on the site recently so I have high hopes for this guy to earn some more TPE to help his team out on offense. Rudy has the most upside out of this pair as Mr. Poop hasn’t been seen on the site in a few weeks now. It’s a shame to see such a great name go to waste.
@TheRealMazatt , @SeymourSnatches
I consolidated the defensive line here since Norfolk will only have 2 actives on defense but boy are they the best 2 actives you could ask for. Fitinyomouf has 5 TPE away from maxing out and Beanman is already there as the pair will provide the team with an incredible force upfront. Beanman’s speed rushing ability should be able to abuse DSFL offensive lines along with Fitinyomouf fitting through opposition and taking down the quarterback at will. I’m hyped that these guys are coming back to the team and really excited to see what they can do in the DSFL with these abilities.
Linebacker: Benjamin Ankers – 159 TPE
@SirBongo
Ankers returns to the Seawolves, but I think he’s ready to enter his prime here soon as a pass rusher born anew in the new sim. He’s got great strength, speed, and agility to disturb most offenses and should help with the blitz on defense. As the lone active linebacker, he’s got a lot riding on his shoulders but I know the bongo boy will come through big this season.
Safeties: Kelvin Harris – 129 TPE, SparkySparky Boom-man – 319 TPE
@ Astrophy058 , @FleshBagSoup
If you thought the defensive line pairing was good, I think the secondary has some serious chops with Harris and Boom-man in the back field. Boom-man returns as a max safety enforcer ready to shut down and make opposing quarterbacks think twice about making plays on his side of the field. We also see a very highly formidable Harris join him as the two form the Harris Boom task force. I think the defense is a lot stronger than last year with these two on the field now and really hyped for Harris to come into his own while Boom-man continues to dominate.
Cornerbacks: Kris Krieg – 50 TPE, Amy Wong – 87 TPE
@CIXhris, @pazuzu
The team lucked out in drafted Amy Wong and I think she’s a steal and ready to help start at cornerback for the team. This is a desperately needed position for the defense and Wong will play a physical style of football that is sure to keep receivers on their toes. Krieg seems MIA with no signs of activity, but there’s always hope that he might remember to come back and start getting involved again. Either way, Wong is the lucky pick here for sure.
Punter: Thelonius Junk – 103 TPE
@TheloniusJunk
Besides having one of the coolest names in the league, Junk returns to the team has a sufficient kicker. He’s pretty accurate in attributes and punted well for 62 long with an average of 43.6 yards. He was a very middle of the road type of punter, but his return to activity might be promising as a starting kicker instead. Time will tell!
Kicker: Rotor Wash – 81 TPE
@rotorwash
The Wisconsin kicker hasn’t been on the site in some time, but Wash was serviceable last season the team’s kicker. He was 21/21 on extra points and had 22/27 field goal attempts as a pretty darn accurate kicker. I think he’ll be battling for this spot if Junk comes back and updates regularly, but for now Wash will remain a decent DSFL kicker.
Well I hope you enjoyed this article as much as I had finding the gifs for it! Until next time sports fans!
Tried to insert gifs but it submitted the post early. Hopefully it worked now.
