It seemed like the Yeti were in for a very rough start to the season, starting 1-2, but then we won 3 games in a row to get back to 4-2. We were 5-1 through 6 games last season, but 4-2 is still good. Currently 3rd in the conference, so still in playoff position. I think things will go well for us. Interested to see how the rest of the season goes and into the playoffs. My player is doing well, for still seeing very little time on the field. I've already reached my rushing total from all of last season now through 6 games, so that's pretty impressive. I haven't seen as much use in the passing game this season so far, simply due to changes in team tactics. I had 4 TDs last season and this season only have 1 so far, but there's still time. We shall see how it goes. The team aspect is still more important than my individual performance, but stats are still fun. (170 words)
Honolulu has continued their good preseason form and currently sit 6-1 and on top of the ASFC along side Austin. After taking home the Ultimus and going undefeated in the preseason, Honolulu have look reasonably good through 7 games, only losing to perennial contenders the Arizona Outlaws so far this season.
Honolulu have not typically been off to strong starts to the season so this is a welcome change to already have racked up 6 wins on the season. The roster has been bolster by free agent acquisitions, bring in the talented wideout Sam the Onion Man, disruptive defensive lineman Bean Beanman along with enforcer Steve Wadham bolstering the defense at safety. Additionally, offensive line call up Beniri T'Chawama has done a great job thus far in his rookie season and looks to be someone that'll be a pivotal piece in the offensive line for years to come. Dawkins as tradition has been fairly quiet with the exception being the San Jose game but overall a pretty quiet season so far. The team appears to be in good shape and is likely to make the playoffs and hopefully make a run at back to back championships. Code: 196 words
Tijuana is horrific, honestly. How this team even operates is beyond me! @Kotasa is dragging me down, oppressing me, trying to keep me from my rightful place as the greatest luchadore of all time!
Just look at us, we're a ridiculous 2-2 when we should be 4-0 easily if only he would allow Live Laughlove to throw the ball my way once in a blue moon. I'm still on pace for breaking a thousand yards for the third time in my career with Tijuana, and yet I was benched for a game?! I have only 3 starts on the season because this team is evil! I am continuing my upward trend, going from 14.3 yards per reception in my rookie season, to 14.4 in my junior season and now in my senior season I'm at 14.5. I am always evolving, always improving, as I am the greatest of all time and Kotasa cannot hold me back from my rightful place as the greatest to ever play in Mexico, in North America, in the World, in the entire UNIVERSE. You'll never break me down, Kotasa. I am going to drag this team to the top, with or without you.
PickSix once again finds himself among the league leaders for KR returns in terms of yardage with fewer KR attempts that the 2 players who are ahead of him by only 25 yards. He also finds himself among the lead leaders for PDs as well which unfortunately the league seems to think is not an important stat for CBs. Which is fine, because everyone knows at the end of the day no matter how good of a CB PickSix II really is, he's never going to be an award winner because of his relationship with the media, the fans as well as head office.
PickSix II doesn't play for rewards, he plays for the team, however the Butchers are also struggling at the moment but that's okay, because he has his contract and ultimately, PickSix II plays for money. At the end of the day, a career is only as good as you make it, and PickSix II has thus far had a marvelous season and a career because he's gotten the bag every year. 175 words
This season for the Wraiths was most likely going to be a down year. The lineup primarily consists of either very young players or very old players, not many players are in their prime. So it is not a huge surprise to see the team in the bottom quarter of the league. A couple of bad breaks has the Wraiths early season record looking significantly worse than what it could have. If a couple different plays went a different way, the team could be .500 right now, but that is not what happened in reality. For the rest of the season the goal should be to continually feed the young players to fuel them for the future. Older players such as Quaid are chasing records in the history book. Due to heavy regression their play could be better towards the end of the season than in the beginning once they make up for some of those regressed skills. On the average I think Quaid has been doing what I have expected so far. He has been in the ISFL for twelve seasons. After a great year last year I was expecting a heavy drop, but he has still done a solid job. By the end of the season I would like to see him pick up 52 more tackles to take 2nd place of all time with one more season remaining. (231 words)
The S32 season is well underway and the Hahalua are showing themselves to be legitimate Ultimus contenders. Last season they had a miracle wild card run all the way to their first Ultimus Championship. This season they have one of the most stifling defences in the ISFL combined with a solid and top half offence. They are currently tied for first in the ASFC conference at 6-1 with the Austin Copperheads who they beat on the road in the ASFC conference championship just last season. They have yet again won against the Copperheads this year and their future matchup against them on the road in Week 12 might decide the conference winner. Big Slammu is having another great season where he is 2nd in the league in tackles combined with 6 sacks on the season. He's hoping to continue to dominate on the football field and hopefully increase those sack numbers. The Hahalua might give Slammu his 4th ring as a player.
