Welcome to Satan's way too early ISFL Mock Draft. I will be taking into consideration each team's needs based on the number of players at each position, DSFL Send downs and old players. I will not make any trades but if I think one is appropriate I will note this down.
Without further ado the 1st overall pick in the Season 34 International Simulation Football League Draft The New Orleans Second Line select:
CB - Russet Buster - 178 TPE
With only 2 Cornerbacks on the roster and a top one available on the board a player such as Russet Buster to bring in competition to a position that lacks this.
With the 2nd overall pick the Honolulu Hahalua select:
DT - Solace Avenger- 169 TPE
With only 1 DT in the team in Kevin Morrison who only has 341 TPE Honolulu could do with some upgrades in this area so I have them selecting Solace who could easily become a first year ISFL player and quickly work his way up to the starting role.
With the 3rd overall pick the Yellowknife Wraiths select:
S - Cross Eriksen - 178 TPE
I have Yellowknife with a large need at both Defensive Tackle and Safety but with the best Defensive Tackle on the board I have a them selecting a Safety to increase their numbers at the position however in the draft I could as easily see them trade back to select a DT at a more appropriate position for the right price.
With the 4th overall pick the San Jose Sabercats select:
WR - Louis Blondin - 179 TPE
I made the choice to select a WR at the 4th overall pick here as San Jose lack a starting 3 and as their QB comes into their prime years they'll need some top targets for him. I made the choice of as he is the top TPE WR currently available however with such as good WR class one of many players could be of chosen here. The main thing which affects this pick is the use of their second TE currently playing in the DSFL as they could as easily be moved to WR or run a 2 TE Offense changing the need for this selection.
With the 5th overall pick the Philadelphia Liberty select:
WR - "Captain" Billy Stinkwater - 162 TPE
With a very large team the Philadelphia Liberty where I hard to to make a selection for with good Depth at every position however I could see them selecting a WR to help bolster their offence and maybe sit for 3 seasons in the DSFL to build up TPE and enter the ISFL when their older Receivers eventually retire.
With the 6th overall pick the Orange County Otters select:
S - Matthew Bee - 105 TPE
Some may list this pick as a reach however Orange County currently only has 1 Safety which definitely isn't good for a defense limiting the number of formations you can play so this pick is a must have.
With the 7th overall pick the Colorado Yetis select
DE - Chim Rickles - 99 TPE
With no DT's on their entire team including DSFL Send Downs this pick is a must have for the team, I would expect them to then move Chim Rickles to DT ASAP and make him a first year starter.
With the 8th overall pick the Austin Copperheads select:
TE - Nacho Macho Man - 105 TPE
With the lack of a TE on the Copperheads roster this causes their Offense to lack that extra option for their playbook and Nacho Macho Man has proved he can be that option in the DSFL with 15 receptions already in the Season 2nd among THIS and leading rookie TE's whilst being efficient when blocking.
With the 9th overall pick the Chicago Butchers select:
CB - Simon The Frog - 172 TPE
With the top CB's in Chicagos roster reaching their pick taking a top Corner in Simon Would be good to have him sit in the DSFL for a few extra seasons before entering the ISFL when he has gained TPE and can be a gold rotational piece with the slightly regressed Chicago Corners allowing them to continue on with a nasty secondary for a long time.
With the 10th overall pick the Berlin Fire Salamanders select:
RB - Rumble Ronson - 151 TPE
With Tatsu Nakamura likely to retire soon and Gus Bus still being a good but declining RB a new option in the backfield is needed send Ronson could be that option. Having already proved he can do that by rushing for over 200 yards and 2 touchdowns in 4 games whilst splitting snaps with Orange Justice hopefully he'll be able to translate this performance over to the ISFL.
With the 11th pick in the draft the Sartosa Sailfish select:
KP - Theo Lariat - 137 TPE
You may be asking yourselves whether or not I have gone insane and the answer is probably yes but hear me out. Sartosa has a very solid team that can make a push and there isn't much young talent that can do much to bolster this team however there kicking and punting game is in need of a new player with Jacob Small coming towards the end of his career and about to suffer a large loss in TPE Lariat can provide an option for them. Lariat is very well rounded and is also active off of the field providing a quick way for him to earn TPE and become your starting KP ASAP.
With the 12th overall pick in the draft the New York Silverbacks select:
RB - Michaelangelo McTurtle- 117 TPE
The backfield for New York is filled with mediocre aging rbs who just fill a role in the rotation so a player such as McTurtle would be a great fit to take a few extra years in the DSFL and then launch into the ISFL and become a starter for many years to come.
With the 13th overall pick in the draft the Baltimore Hawks select:
LB - Ganyu - 155 TPE
With a good well rounded team I chose to select Ganyu to build on an already Solid LB room in Baltimore and have another player to slot alongside Sherriff Woody in a few seasons once he has developed more and the other LBS have regressed to a point where they are no longer starters.
With the 14th overall pick and the final pick in the this much draft the Arizona Outlaws select:
WR - Lucius Salem - 151 TPE
Arizona already have a great team which is why they currently hold the 14th pick but may need a new WR in a season or 2 and Salem can provide this option. already amassing over 350 yards and 3 50 yard receptions in 4 games Salem has shown he can be a top option even in am Offense with 3 top receivers and a rookie QB.
And that's my Mock Draft, Congrats if I picked you and if I didn't I was probably incorrect anyway so don't worry.
