PT Pass
My favorite bot is the wolfie bot. I am not sure how anyone could do this week's PT and not select the legend that is the Wolfie bot. Wolfie is always there when you need it, and all day and all night long. There are so many tasks to complete weekly, monthly, etc and without Wolfie's help, I think we all would be lost from time to time.
Wolfie is versatile and can do just about everything. When I first got on Discord I remember when people would use the Wolfie tamper function. It was hilariously scary as I was not sure if someone was really getting in trouble or not. Wolfie has also helped me keep up with my bank roll and helped me plan out when I can spend and what I can spend. Wolfie belongs in the International Simulation Football League Hall of Fame even though it is a bot and not a user.
I dont know about bots you know? Artificial Intelligence is a bit of a mystery. You ever see I, Robot? I dont want to have to be the main character and go on a bot killing spree. But for the sake of this PT I will put aside my trepidation for bots, and go with a bot im sure most people are going to write about. That would be wolfie bot. This dude is pretty cool. He will tell you everything you want to know. From your bank account balance, to your season stats, and he will even get you all the information you need to know about when it comes to your fantasy team. Hell let you know the scores in your group. Hell let you know what your players are doing points wise, and he will even tell you what players are available to be picked up off the waiver wire. Thats a lot of things for just one bot. Are we sure its only one bot? What if they are cloning themselves….Dont worry ISFL. I will save you.

My favorite locker room discord bot for a while has been wolfiebot, created by user Infinitempg! I don't really care to play games or whatever on discord, so bots like Jeopardy or Pokecord or whatever millions of miscellaneous bots there are out there don't really appeal to me. The big thing that is helpful for me in a discord bot is utility functions that make the ISFL experience better and make it easier to find and access certain bits of information. Like the bank bot before it, wolfie has excellent functions like w!balance and w!transactions that help me see how much money I have in my ISFL bank and if my recent payout has gone through. the fantasy options are awesome too, especially w!fffree which saves me a bunch of time trying to figure out what players are available to try to improve my ISFL fantasy roster via waivers each season. Special shout out also goes to wolfie dashboards, the amazing site that has all of the information on career, season, and game records for the league and for individual franchises. That site is so clutch, especially now that we're on the new DDSPF and the league history isn't carried over on the index. There's a link on the site to help support the site and infinite's awesome tools, so please consider doing so!

If everyones answer for this isn't WolfieBot I will be absolutely stunned. It's a marvel of engineering. A staunch ally to every person in the league both old and new. It makes the things that this league could really stand to do a little bit of work on a lot simpler. Things like stats and budget tracking and other items like that. Solved in the swipe of a command. As someone who has previously edited pages for the wiki trying to collate stats is a pain in the ring at the best of times. But not with WolfieBot, it's much, much simpler to do and helps keeps things running up to date and smooth. It's so ubiquotious and necessary to the upkeep of the league that I will read the replies in this thread that don't say WolfieBot because surely something that dethrones something so essential must be absolutely fantastic!
I'm not sure if I'm supposed to be writing about a player bot on the roster or like a bot we have in our clubhouse so I guess I'll do both. Eventhough he's not on my team this season, Sixducks Inatrenchcoat is by far the most dynamic bot i've ever seen. when he played CB opposite me a couple seasons ago in Minnesota I swear to God he had like 7 picks in one year. Every time I looked up he had another one it was insane! Plus he had a cool name and correct me if I'm wrong but I think he's the only bot player with a functioning twitter.
If we're talking about LR bots its gotta be Jeopardy. I'm not sure theres a ton to say about it, other than its fun to play and feeds the pokemon bot so they'll spawn. Wait though, if Im only playing Jeopardy to spawn pokemon does that mean that the poketwo bot is the GOAT? Hm. t.q |
