Of all the bots that are in the Baltimore Hawks locker room, from Wolfiebot to the Twitter bot to Pokecord, my favorite is probably the React-o-Matic bot. This bot automatically reacts to messages with certain emojis when specific words or phrases are used, and thanks to the wonderful @King Jellyfish we have a plethora of awesome drawn emojis for various members of the team, phrases, emotions, etc including many variations of popular meme emojis that have been redrawn in the style of the Hawks logo, like Bonk Hawk, Shawk, HawkHug, HawkLaugh, HawkLove, HawkGooseKnife, SimonHawk, and many more. It's pretty fun to see all of the emojis populated, and to make things even better the bot will react to every messaging using the word "hawk" with a HawkHype, but will on very rare occasions give a Golden Hawk instead. The appearance of the Golden Hawk has developed a totally-not-a-cult around it, and never fails to bring the locker room together.
My favorite bot in my teams’ locker room is probably the Pokemon bot. I’ve enjoyed playing Pokemon since I was just nine years old. I know every pokemon from the first 6 generations by heart. I enjoy being able to spend time and just catch pokemon on Discord, and change their movesets, level them up, and battle other people on Discord. Whoever made the bot is an MVP. One of the best parts is the competitive aspect of multiple people in the channel at once and everyone is trying to catch the pokemon before the rest. The way you catch pokemon is by typing the pokemon’s name in the chat. The fastest person to type the name is the only person who catches that pokemon. An honorable mention is the Jeopardy bot. I very much enjoy spending time using the Jeopardy bot, learning new things and also showcasing my knowledge. However, the Jeopardy bot and I have beef, as it is very wishy washy with the answers it accepts.
When it comes to legendary bots, every player in the Minnesota Locker Room knows of the family that is In’Atrenchcoat. This all began in season 29 when the Grey ducks signed the famous Threeducks In’Atrenchcoat to a bot contract. To us it seemed like just another defensive bot player with a cool unique name. It wasn’t long until Threeducks started to let us know and let the rest of the DSFL know that this duck was something special. Ever since that season, the Minnesota Grey Ducks have been the In’Atrenchcoat factory as they have cranked out may of ThreeDucks’ brothers including: FourDucks In’Atrenchcoat, FiveDucks In’Atrenchcoat, SixDucks In’Atrenchcoat, SevenDucks In’Atrenchcoat, and this season had Eightducks In’Atrenchcoat. That is some big family they got there. I’m not sure if they have any more siblings but they have all been historically good for the Minnesota Grey Ducks. Every Grey Duck player has their favorite of the In’Atrenchcoat bots. I think my favorite is SixDucks. He had a fantastic career and made some outstanding plays.
As the General Manager of the Chicago Butchers, I feel that it’s only right if I specifically talk about my favorite bot from the Butchers this season. We’ve only had two bots, and oh boy do they have a story that is tightly linked. One of our two bots is named Preseason Only BOT, while the other is named Boyle the Butcher. I’m sure you can already see which direction this story is heading… Let’s start off with the stats. Ol’ Preseason Only BOT ended this season with 42 pancakes and 0 sacks allowed. And they played 16 games. This is compared to Boyle the Butcher, who ended the season with 22 pancakes and 1 sack allowed. Here’s the thing though… Preseason was (clearly) just a 50 TPE bot from the preseason that was mistakenly left on our roster. Boyle was our top tier OL bot that was supposed to be a staple of our OL. Will this change teams’ OL strategies in the future? I have no idea, but it’s certainly something to consider!
Wolfie bot is the best bot ever created for the ISFL and the fact that infinite did it himself, creating this whole bot in order to procure stats, see fantasy information, and just do so many things is incredible. It's such a useful bot and has been one of the best quality of life additions to the league since I have been in the league. That bot in discord has given me the ability to never trek into the slow bank spreadsheet, that is bogged by a lot of transactions and just slower due to the nature of the beast, I never have to remember if I did my pt or what not, I can just do the w!user oles and it'll pop right up (although I don't know if you can set a user for yourself, I still gotta do my username cuz my discord name is different). Fantasy has extremely easy access as well, the bot is all around great and one of the many great things that @infinitempg has done for the league.

As a member of the DSFL, I know that every locker room has bots. More specifically, I want to highlight my favorite bot within the Dallas Birddogs. My favorite bot within the team is Jabba the Mutt. Not only does it have a nice callback name to one of the most well-known characters in Star Wars history, but Mutt has been a dependable member of the team, even if he's a bot. This is due to outplaying his overall. Despite being a 60 overall in the league, Mutt has one of the highest pancake totals at near 50 and has only given up 1 total sack this whole season, a measure to his dependability, and skill through this season. If we had awards for an all-pro BOT team, Mutt would instantly make the first team all-pro for the Oline given his production. I am proud to have been able to play by his side this season!

There are many bots who could be my favourite from this season as part of the London Royals. There are OL boys, like the X series of players for example. Or there are normal defensive bots like Offmi a game. The simple fact however, is that the best bot player who is part of the London Royals is in fact the Free Safety currently named High Point. As a FS, High Point does it all as a safety; he has 45 tackles, which is an acceptable amount of tackles for a defensive back. Further than that however, he also adds to that with the tertiary stats. 1 FF/FR is helpful to any team, but adding on to that the 1 sack and 2 interceptions only makes his ability as a bot all the more impressive.
While we have cheered him on massively in the locker room, Point has yet to show any emotion to such feelings from his teammates. Hopefully that changes as this season draws towards a close for this Royals outfit. Quote:174 words |
