Hi all,
After the S33 awards results were published, there was some backlash directed towards a team and their GMs based on the way they voted.
When things get heated, members of Head Office should remain impartial and ensure that they are outside of the controversy, not be a part of it. We are always representing the league, no matter what the context is, and need to act accordingly to have the ongoing respect and trust of the community. HO member Simo made comments on the forum and in the management server, as well as DMing one of the GMs in question, that the rest of Head Office felt was over the line in terms of how a member of HO should behave in these situations, regardless of how they personally feel about the issue in question.
Head Office has a platform and procedures to deal with issues like this internally, and we recognise that by participating in the backlash against a particular team or GM, it reflects poorly and erodes trust in Head Office, as well as the league as a whole. As such, Head Office issues Simo with an official warning about his comments in the aftermath of the publishing of the awards ballots, and notes that any similar incidents in the future will result in further action.
