Sabercats locker room is pretty sweet. I mean most ISFL locker rooms are pretty good, even the visitor locker rooms. The San Jose one has the classic green and gold accents and ven has a cool Sabercats statue in the middle. Rub his nose for good luck before the game of course. But the best part about the San Jose team facility is the basement which I haven't seen at anyone else's facilities before. It's actually pretty awesome, the entrance is hidden behind a bookshelf in CK's office like an escape room. Sometimes after practice we all go down there, wearing our official Sabercats matching black hooded robes. It's kind of dark going down the steps but once you get down to the basement there's these cool glowing symbols on the wall so it's not that scary. People tell me that they're a series of living glyphs lifted from demonic literature and religious texts. Pretty sweet eh? And when we get down there we get to do some cool chants and CK reads out of this big book in some foreign language. German maybe? And after every meeting we have some snacks and everyone drinks green Kool aid out of this bowl. What a good time......what? No it's not a cult!

The Yeti stadium is located on a beautiful 80 acre campus found in the mountains near the famous Keystone ski resort. This gives the team and its fans a feeling of superiority and high-class as they enter the stadium district, filled with restaurants, hotels, and other accomodations. The team has a domed field (as well as a domed practice field) to protect it from the snow storms that frequently hit the Rockies, keeping the team staff and its fans cozy despite the weather outside. For cross-country enthusiasts, there are actually trails that lead right up to the stadium itself, as well as secure ski racks. This allows fans staying nearby to ski to and from the stadium, not needing to worry about driving while impaired. The trails are well-lit and patrolled on game days, so it makes for a great alternative way of travel. The stadium is of the highest quality seen in the league, with every seat back containing a television with the live TV feed of the action to allow fans to not miss out on any crucial replays.

Ideally, you want to have the best facilities for your team. That way, the players can train and recover as efficiently as possible. If team owners want to win championships, then they need to invest in the players’ well being. I would like want the facilities to have medical staff on hand to address any concerns players have and to get them back out there at 100% for the next game. The facilities would include the traditional gym set up, but also classrooms so that the team can come in and look at footage to prepare for games. It’s important that the facilities are maintained well and have all the amenities you would expect in a professional sports team facility. I wan my team owner to pull out the checkbook and bring together a state of the art facility and treat the players right. Giving the players the best chance at winning starts with the quality of their training. A better facility should lead to better training.

The official Yellowknife Wraiths team training facility has been redesigned several times over the years. The most recent remodel has seen some major upgrades in all areas. The new swimming pool ranges from clear swimming water to murky pond water. The filter system works hard to keep the two separate. This better accommodates the human players and the animal players. The weight training room has a variety of custom weights so that everyone on the team can get a full workout in. Zephyr’s favorite is the grip trainer. Making sure his bite is always as strong as it can be for those interception opportunities. The facility put in a state-of-the-art laser tag arena to build team cohesion. At least that’s how they justified the price tag. Really its just a wicked cool laser tag arena that the team uses to unwind or keep busy during down time. With all these upgrades the Wraiths are looking to have better seasons going forward now that the team is able to train to the next level.

San Jose is a beautiful city in California, so it would figure that the facilities the Sabrecats have would match the stunning location!
Obviously, for starters, SJS have the best colour combination in the league, and the green and gold theme is everywhere. And in the style of Liverpool FC, who have a sign on the way out from the home locker room to the field that says ‘This is Anfield’, that the players touch for good luck, the Sabrecats have their own motivational slogan ‘Praise Derpcat’ and all the players touch his derpy face on the sign as they head out to play. Although, following the past couple of seasons, maybe it’s time to take Derpcat down and put him in a cupboard, as the luck hasn’t exactly been flowing in San Jose! And obviously, the plushest part of the whole facility is the adjoining GM offices of CK and Russ. Biiiiig comfy chairs, 9 tv screens/monitors each and only the highest class espresso machines from Italy, that the players are obviously not allowed to use.
