Legend has it that the Wraiths stadium is built on a graveyard, although nobody has told me what kind of graveyard or who is buried in there. Not only does the team embrace our spooky or ghost like nickname but the city seems to as well. For whatever reason on game days a fog starts to roll in on the city of Yellowknife and seems to get at its worst about 15 minutes before kickoff. For new players or teams that don't visit very often it can be kinda unnerving but for us its just another gameday and we know the spirits are with us. Another thing that seems to happen in the stadium is on big moments during the game a bone chilling cold will come out of nowhere, it doesn't matter what season of the year it is, it could be in the middle of summer and yet on 4th down late in the 4th quarter that cold will always be there. Every stadium has their own advantages but nothing compares to ours.

When it comes to not just training facilities, but leisure facilities too, the Sarasota Sailfishes facilities are some of the best in the business and there is nothing that David Moyes loves to do more then take advantage of these absolutely fantastic facilities. He first tends to go to the gym, where the amount of different machines that are there would confuse someone who had less experience in the the gym then an ISFL footballer, but David Moyes tends to just go to work on the bench or at the leg press. He then decompresses in the sauna before hopping into one of the teams olympic sized swimming pools to cool off. After this he travels to the team food court and eats his post workout meal, deciding from a vast choice of different restaurants, before going out onto the field and getting some practice reps in with the rest of the team.
The Butchers. You want to know what the Chicago Butchers team facilities look like? I mean, have you ever heard about the Chicago meatpacking industry? Then you have the perfect idea of what to expect. The locker room looks kind of like one of those big industrial walk-in freezers that you see in Rocky or every horror movie ever made. Very stainless steel sheik on the inside. And don't even get me started on the trainers' room. That place IS out of a horror flick. There is sharp shit literally everywhere. I've never once had any work done in there since I was drafted here because I'm afraid I'll be served for lunch in the cafeteria next week if I do. Oh yeah, and everything looks like its covered in blood. Like, just absolutely drenched in the stuff. For all I know, it actually could be and that's why no one has seen Rose Jenkins or Sean O'Leary since they "retired". I mean, don't get me wrong; this team is awesome, but a little scary.
With us being the Silverbacks, the most obvious thing our facility includes is a primate-centric zoo. Of course, we'll have someone from the American Zoological Association overseeing construction of the habitat as well as caring for the animals. We'll also allow the largest Silverback gorillas to have access to a glass enclosure right by the visiting team's locker room to add intimidation before we kickoff. On top of that, though, we'd have some of the standard trappings of a locker room and team facility. There would be plenty of flat screen televisions, all the gaming systems you could imagine, and my personal favorite, a soft-serve ice cream machine. Need a pick me up at halftime? Get a cone and get that little burst of energy you desperately need. Plus there would be sleep pods in every meeting room and in the team facility so we could nap and recover before and after games and meetings. We need to make sure we have all of the comforts but more importantly, every advantage possible to get us closer to a win each week.
