Rookie minicamp was a little interesting for Aleksandr Milescu. He had played a few weeks already at the end of season 34 with the Royals, and then was drafted back to the roster again for s35. On one hand Milescu was a rookie- but on the other, he already knew the facilities, the coaches, training staff, some of the players, etc. The difference, however, was this gave him a chance to “officially” start up his career in London. Now he had time to really get to know the playbook and drill the formations instead of trying his best to memorize a key few before each game late s34. And it was nice to hit camp with other rookies. While a few waivers had joined London late in the year as he did, none of them really had a chance to try each other out and push their limits. By the end of minicamp Milescu had definitely begun to develop a rhythm with the defense and building up the confidence and rapport necessary to rely on each player to execute their part of the playcall.
