(S37) PT #1 – Say something nice about another User.

Complete the weekly Point Task to earn 3 TPE! All written responses must be at least 150 words. PT's may be submitted in another language, if you mention what language you are translating into, to make the job of the grader easier.

Do not claim this TPE until it has been graded and posted to the S37 claim thread. This task is due next Sunday, August 28th, 2022 at 11:59 ET. Have fun and get writing!

Written option: Welcome back to another season of ISFL Football. This Point Task is Simple, Say something nice about another user or users who have made the ISFL more enjoyable for you. 

Graphic Option: Do something nice for another user: Make a graphic or signature for or of another user or player  (Can not be a graphic of or for your player)

Affiliate claims from SHL and PBE and WSBL are accepted; link directly to your post and add a note if your username is different there. Make sure the week of the affiliate PT matches with the week of this point task.

Written and graphic responses must be posted solely in this thread and not for additional media credit. Also, if you try to build your word count by being super repetitive and rambling on, you will not get full credit. If you are caught plagiarizing/stealing someone else’s work, you will be punished as HO sees fit, including the potential loss of TPE or money. Do your own work please. If you have a non-full PT pass and would like to use it this week, make sure to post in the thread. No need to post in the thread if you have a full PT Pass.

@negs - for as much crap as you get from seemingly everyone, you take it all in stride. Not an easy thing to do. Also, I appreciate you trying to encourage everyone in the Philly LR to be an actual team. Feels like we've built a real community in there - also not an easy thing to do. @Luciddreams702 +1 for you being the other half of the driving force behind that environment. Bonus points for doing it without having to be negs.

@Pvtpenne - you're a funny person and I like your thumbs up frog emote. Thank you for being genuinely helpful and chill with everything related to fantasy and 6 for 6 (even if I haven't always been).

@"belowavgg" - is probably the kindest person in the YouTube streams.

@Sebster - if I had to guess, your feet smell like fresh petunias.

@XaveValor and @Chucky - just a couple of cool dudes.

There's a lot of other folks I could call out here, which I think says a lot about the people who are part of the ISFL.

@Baron1898 For writting some of the best media on this site. She has written some absolute great stories recently. That have been lovely to read through and even for an old timer like me, they have helped me remember things of those olden days.

@Opera_Phantom for being a great boss, despite always threatening me with being fired from the bank team. You know what heck it @bank team, for being amazing people who form the team of th best job in sim leagues.

@honolulu hahalua the absolute cop out answer, but just everyone on Honolulu, who has helped turn the team I created into something absolutely special. The team started out struggling, but with all the amazing people who have become an integral part of the team over the years it has become something amazing. Been an absolute treat to see how the team has grown and all the amazing users who make it a great place to be a part of.

I am completely new to simulation leagues, so this first two weeks has been an experience. While I have played in a lot of Fake Baseball Leagues and am on plenty of discord team servers, I am new to the realm of forum posts. Typically use reddit/discord for other "sports". 

Being so new I have had very limited interaction with other members of the league. There are two people who have really helped me get the ball rolling and foster buy-in to the league. The first being @Skindog44. He convinced me to join and has been incredibly helpful navigating the incredibly terrible forums. While my current team has offered to help out in any way, it has thus far been unnecessary as Ioe has been rock solid in assisting me.

@PugWalrus has been the best silver medal a person could ask for. Pug came in as a scout with Python and ultimately brought me on to help them dominate. The nicest thing I can say about him is that he's not a moron, because he drafted me. Unlike the other fools who couldn't see greatness looking them right in the face.

I could obviously say tons of nice things about my best friends @Reedy0rNot , @Bmason0520 , and @KingOfTheOzone since I know them all in real life, but it might be nicer to spread the love to some of the folks I only know from ISFL.

@dustywilson22 is just a hella cool guy. Always comes into the LR with the most positive attitude and it is infectious. I look forward to seeing you break the DSFL pancake record this season!

@firstfray taught me everything I know about GMing - despite how poorly it ended - thanks for making me your co-gm and having me on board. #goyotes

@Chucky One of the few people to reach out after the "incident". Thanks for your genuinely kind words, you are a model citizen who I aspire to be like in the ISFL community

@gucci although we don't know each other well, you also reached out to me and gave me some words of encouragement. I hope in the following seasons you and I can light up the ISFL record books.

@LANEFROST You have a tenacious spirit and I admire you resilience. Keep making strides, brother.

Its going to be too hard to pick a single user, so here are a few users who have really helped define my time in the ISFL so far:

@Sebster  - Pulled me out of the wastes that are the DSFL waiver pool.  Gave me a home and set me on the road to earn.  And then snatched me back again for the draft before later entrusting me with the keys to the London Palace.  If anyone has defined my path this far in the ISFL, knowingly or not, it has been Seb.

@Gordon Bombay - First my GM, now my co-gm!  Working with Gordo has been great first as a new user stumbling through the sim, and now as a new GM stumbling through managing a team!  He always knows the answer to my questions....or who to harass if not!

@Twenty6 - My twin, second best safety on the royals s36, and definitely a multi account of mine.  Somehow came into the league at the same time, in same position, and went to the same team both on waiver and then in draft.  It took until the ISFL to break us up.  A good friend, both inside of the sim and out.

@negs - The GM who drafted me into my #1 preferred ISFL team (or should I list Seb here again???).  Has helped me get things ready for my first ISFL season, which starts tonight!

@Jaywe88 - The dobbler himself.  The very same dobble with led to my first video gfx, which in turn led me to remember how to use DaVinci Resolve, which ultimately led me to be able to create my draft rap video and many others.  And Having since been declared and Dobble Scholar, I can't NOT thank the founder.

I want to give a shoutout to @abh89. I don't know the last time I have done a PT activity honestly, but it has been few and far between to say the least. Regardless of how much or how little I have been able to contribute in my time in Sarasota to this point, abh has gone above and beyond making me feel like a valued member of the team. My other Sarasota GMs such as Fronk and Mojojojojojojojo also did an amazing job of this as well. I'm pretty confident I would have probably been out of the league by now if not for the stellar work they have put in. I feel truly lucky to have such supportive GMs. 


I'm going to sneak another shoutout in here for @mithrandir. It's a small percentage of users that are able to come in and truly take the league to a different level and mith is one of them. From their time in Tijuana and New Orleans, to playing a monster role in creating Dotts, mith has given so much to this league to improve it.
