Throughout my first few years here on the site, there are more than a few people who have had a profound impact on my time and made things much better as I went.

First, I want to thank the folks in Portland who welcomed me to the league as my first team. Folks like @zeagle1, @qWest, @RDBSouthPaw, @Jo3fish5, and more who are no longer as active in the league. It was also a few years ago now so I apologize to the folks I'm forgetting, but those folks were all great and I couldn't imagine a better team to start playing for in this league.

After the ISFL draft, I joined Yellowknife and met more great folks who have helped me in this league. Folks like @flyeaglesfly29, @PMoney, @UberBJ, @Opera_Phantom, @shadyshoelace, @deadlunatic, @DarknessRising, @Colabear, @Dp-420, @TheNC206, @3lewsers, and many more that have made Yellowknife an awesome place to play. This league and this hobby only works because of the great people in it, so thank you all.

I am picking to write this piece about the man, the meme, the man-meme I reckon would work, @Starboy. When I first joined the league as a completely IA kicker pretending to be good, he and Butters were in charge of my DSFL team, the Kansas City Coyotes. He was by far one of the nicest people around, was definitely easy to joke with, and was dedicated to helping the team he was GM’ing in the DSFL growing as much as they could. Looking at the team he had assembled after the end of the season and beyond, I can say he was likely successful in growing his team. Past that, he has always built great players and taken praise and memes in stride when they come by. If things aren’t going well for me as a QB (spoiler; this is more often than I wish it was), I hope I can take it in my stride as well as Starboy does.

Shoutouts also go to the other side of that KCC equation, @"Buttersqauch101”. Butters also cared just as much about the team, and gave me my first start as a GM with the team. Without him and his admittedly semi-ok DT from SJS, I would also have not have my long career with SJS to look back on, for which I will always be thankful.

I am excited for being called up to my ISFL team for my rookie season and now being able to share it with other members of sim leagues that i've been a part of or had on my teams before.  Joining the New Orleans Second Line last season meant I got to be in another server with JuOsu after being on a team with her in the WSBL before it folded, and knowing all about the San Antonio Sloths in the PBE.  Then this season a fellow rookie is myrrh who was on my PBE minor league team and will always be a Bear!  Dagumpa is also on the team as a Safety and Tacoshoppe is a Tight End.  Guitar Master has been very welcoming to the team along with Some Say.  But JustThere has been the most welcoming to the team and helping me with the best way to build to help the teams defensive line.  I'm super excited to see how this season goes, and spend it with all of the people on my team!

Nah in all seriousness thanks for taking not one, but technically two chances on me in this league. You are obviously a very wise man!

@Chucky - When I was drafted you often reached out to let me know about the things I needed to get done. Without that help I probably would have ended my first season with less TPE than I originally had. Bondi Beach would still be in shambles without you and glims.

@AnUnoriginalGuy - There is much to say about this mans but not much *needs* to be said. Bro is a legend and a lot of fun to hang with in the locker room. If you don't love Adam then you are probably a monster.

@Gadget - He is the goat he is finna carry

@IceBear32 - He is daddy bear he took me in to his locker room and now I am taking them down from the inside.

What can I say about @Big Edd that hasn't already been said. He's the sexiest user in the International Simulation Football League, and probably top 100 in the league at Madden and Fall Guys. Which begs the question, why hasn't he won User of the year yet? He's one of the most well known users ever and has had a huge impact on the league as a whole, I'd imagine there will be another league name change in his honor in the future. It's a shame he's tried to come back a few time just to go IA due to losing interest in the league. Hopefully one day he finds that inspiration again, because the National Simulation Football League is a better place with Big Edd in it, plus who's gonna win the Defensive Tackle of the Year ninety times in a row with him out of the league?
