Starting as a literal rookie in the DSFL is hard. While joining has been streamlined to be quick and painless, the intricacies of advancing a career can be a very daunting task. But thanks to the efforts of some helpful and patient players around the league, this years class of rookies is primed to succeed. When asked recently about his transition into the league, S39 rookie tight end Seth Leavitt had this to say:
"I'm really thankful to have had the help and guidance finding my way around. If it wasn't for the willingness of the current players in the league to go out of their way to show me the ropes, I don't know how far I would have made it, if at all. In fact, I want to give a shout-out to some people who have really taken time to help me on my journey: Russet Buster, Raven, Swantavius King, JasonHopefully, Daron Arnold, Firstfray, 8!,43:8"@:, Caleb_H, and the entire Kansas City Coyotes organization; I wouldn't be here without you all."
When asked if he'd recommend the league to any players on the fence due to the learning curve, he added:
"You won't regret joining the league. The people are friendly and want you to succeed. All you need to do is take the leap, and you'll find it well worth your efforts. Trust in the people and the process, and you'll really enjoy it."
