Season 37 is one that will be looked upon by historians as the year the Outlaws refused their sentence of mediocrity. Perhaps the league’s first ever powerhouse, Season 37 was a redemption story for Arizona. This was their first time in 7 seasons appearing in the Ultimus Bowl, when they fell to Sarasota. This was the team’s first championship in 20+ seasons. It was a day that some in Arizona thought might never come again. After such dominance to start out their league lives, Arizona fell to the bottom of the barrel and it took almost an entire generation between the first Ultimus and their most recent.

The season started out terribly against the defending champion Hahalua on the road. The Outlaws led at one point 24-10 before Honolulu scored 21 unanswered points for the victory, Jay Cue Jr had 2 TDs as the lone bright spot. In their first victory, game two against NY, Arizona led 31-10 before winning in a much closer 45-31 ending. The Outlaws struggled out of the gate to maintain their leads, their defense laying back and getting too comfortable. With a record of 1-1, the team would go on to win 2 out of 3 winning games against San Jose and Orange County. With a 3-2 record headed into week 6, Arizona was a team missing their identity.

The identity that the Outlaws took on from week 6 through week 8 is that of a pathetic loser. This was, by far, the lowest point of the entire season for the future world champions. Things started off with a horrible blowout in Sarasota, losing 48-24. This was another game that saw the Outlaws staying competitive throughout the entire ordeal, trying the score at 24 each late in the 3rd quarter before allowing an unheard of 24 unanswered points for a big time loss. Week 7 on the road in Austin, leading 20-17 late in the 4th quarter, Arizona again faced a pathetic demise. A last minute touchdown pass to Zaphod Beeblebrox was the dagger for the Outlaws, losing to the Copperheads 24-20 after being in control for most of the game. Week 8 against the Butchers at home was the icing on the cake. The closest the team got in this one was within 3, otherwise Chicago ran away with it. Losing 3 straight games should be a death sentence for your season, but not with this team.

A week 9 bludgeoning of the Colorado Yeti by the score of 41-10 set off a winning streak that would never see its end. Week 10 in Orange County and Week 11 vs Honolulu was more of the same, winning 31-9 and 31-17, respectively. The closest anyone would get to the Outlaws again in the regular season was in Week 15 when the Copperheads only lost by 4 points, 28-24. The team wrapped up the regular season with a record of 11-5, on an 8 game winning streak.

The playoffs came, and there was really not much resistance from the league whatsoever. The first round matchup against Orange County was a laugher, the Outlaws won 37-10 in a game that was over early on in the 2nd half. The ASFC Championship Game saw Arizona again pull out the win, 31-19 over Honolulu. The Hahalua led 10-7 as late as mid-3rd quarter, but Arizona stayed within striking distance and ultimately separated as the game came to its conclusion. A garbage time TD by Bean Delphine Jr made this one look closer than it really was. Finally, an Ultimus match with the Sarasota Sailfish to much hype and fanfare, and it was an entertaining game into the early 4th quarter. Sarasota was within 3 points training 14-11, but TDs by Stinkwater and Goodhead, along with a FG by Witchqueen was the recipe for Ultimus success as the Outlaws secured their league championship.

The Outlaws were a great team that struggled early out of the gate but ended up getting everything together and becoming world champions. This shows that just because you might not be off to the best start, doesn’t mean the season is lost for good as long as those in the locker room still believe. This outcome was shocking to only those who didn’t have faith in this franchise.

Task 8. With awards season upon us, make up an award for your player to win for something not on the football field

If I could make up one award for Booter McGavin, it would simply be the best walking advertisement award. Booter is a man who aims to help bolster his own position and those companies that choose to sponsor him. Booter would be proud to do anything for a brand, whether that be wearing clothing with logos all over it or appear in the newest commercial the brand is posting. Booter knows he is the most adept in the league at getting eyeballs on products and knows how to work in a product placement at any point he is able.

Booter wins the walking advertisement award for the tangible difference he has made in raising the Birddogs marketing profile in just his first season. Booter was a key brand model for Armani and Chanel during the current season. His appearance in marketing campaigns across the globe for these fans brought many eyes to the DSFL. Booter proudly represented the Dallas Birddogs in all of the official marketing appearances with either the team's signature colors or the adorable dog logo somewhere in the ad. This work has lead to many fans of Booter's modeling work to start to recognize the brand that is the Dallas Birddogs and thus he has helped the league attract new viewers who may have previously never thought of watching the DSFL. Now these individuals tune in to see Booter at work and see him strike a pose or look from the campaign after each kick. It is estimated that Booter's work in the fashion industry has lead to gigantic spike in new viewership for the league and his ability to continue to attract new viewers from his work should not be underestimated. For these reasons, Booter McGavin should win the Walking advertisement award and strong consideration should be made to make him the face of the DSFL going forward.

14. Describe your player and/or team’s journey through this latest season. What were the highlights? What were the lower points? What might you have done differently? What are your expectations for next season?

The Dallas Birddogs had a roller coaster of a season in the DSFL. Finishing with a 7 and 7 record, the team at times both looked like a contender to win the championship and at other times looked like a team destined for the first pick. With so many rookies it should not be surprising that Dallas had a turbulent season but fans want to see more moving into the future. I will discuss both the highs and lows for this past DSFL season.

The high of the season easily comes from the week 8 matchup against the Tijuana Luchadores. Coming off a narrow victory against the London Royals, The Birddogs wanted to build some momentum and were successful in this game against their division foe. The team manhandled Tijuana throughout the whole game, jumping out to a lead in the second quarter and never looking back. The performance featured some excellent team and individual performances. One of the key individual performances was from kicker Booter McGavin who hit all four of his field goal attempts and also delivered a booming 49 yard field goal. His punting was also solid with an long of 55 yards uncorked during the game. However the key individual performance of the game came from running back Aiden Frost. Frost was simply unstoppable rushing for over 200 yards on just 25 carries. The big play of the game came from a 65 yard scamper and solidified one of the best performances in Birddogs history.

The dud of the season is easily the week 5 matchup against the Portland Pythons. In this game the Birddogs never stood a chance as they lost 27 - 7. The pythons controlled every aspect of the game and left the Birddogs with little hope. It was a rough night in particular for Quarterback Landers Jr. as he threw 3 interceptions after starting the game with an early TD. It was also unfortunate for the Birddogs that their workhorse running back Aiden Frost had one of his worst games of the season as he was barely able to surpass the 3 yard a carry mark during the game. All in all this was a game to forget for the Dallas Birddogs.

What has my time in the ISFL been like? It means companionship and friendly rivalries. I am in multiple locker rooms myself one being my DSFL team and the other my ISFL team, but I was also invited into a few other ISFL teams during the countdown to the draft and I swear I see most of the same people hanging out in the same locker rooms. Don't get me started on how the Rookie chat is, that's where I feel every companionship starts and where everyone gets to know each other. I have been in this league for one season so far and the number of people that have reached out to ensure I'm finding my way around ok and having a good time in the league otherwise is insurmountable. I want to give a huge shoutout to Negs who has been big in checking up on me periodically since I was drafted to the Liberty just to make sure that I'm doing ok and asking if I need help with any of my tasks since last season I wasn't exactly active with my updates. Between my time in the PBE and my time here in the ISFL I have never been a part of any community that is as strongly tied together as these two, I know a bunch of ISFL players from my time in the PBE and some of them even talked me into coming over to the ISFL. I have had so much fun creating some of these bonds and watching everyone interact with each other that sometimes I even lurk just to watch all the interactions and how people interact with one person compared to another. Leagues like this thrive on interacting with everyone and this league has made that it's number one priority which is amazing to see.

2. Tell us about your draft class. Is there anything that makes it special in comparison to other classes? Where did your fellow draftees land, how are they doing? Did anyone turn out to be an unexpected steal of that draft based on what you know today? Do you think anyone in your draft class will become a hall of famer? If you’re new to the league, how do you think your class will do? Where do you think people will get drafted to?

The season 38 ISFL draft class is a pretty good one, in my opinion. Having been a part of an absolutely massive season 22 class, I don't think this one quite compares to it, but there were a lot of very strong users and some great picks to be made by the teams.

I think one of the big story lines for this draft class was how stacked it was at LB. It's an important position, and the class had a lot of talent at it. That led to LBs being 5 of the first 7 picks. San Jose had 2 picks in the top 7 and invested fully in the importance and quality of LBs, drafting 2 of the 5 selected. Cruella De Ville and Zavier Perkins will both don the green, and getting Cruella at 7th is relatively low compared to where many though she might get selected. Tank McGibbons went 1st overall to Austin, and both Honolulu and Berlin hopped on the LB train. Chicago also took an LB at 10th overall.

A far cry from that season 22 draft, Walrus Jones was drafted 5th overall. An OL at 5th overall. In that S22 draft, my previous player, Byron Dolls, was the first OL selected, at 33rd overall. The value of human OL has fluctuated over time, and a strong S22 class at the time I think helped proved how valuable they could be. I'm happy to see OL users have the opportunity to get selected high in the draft once again.

The WR group was also quite strong at the top end, but not exceptionally deep. 3 wide receivers went in the first round, but they went at the end of the round and it was somewhat of a run. Teenie Hodges was the first WR off the board, at 9th overall to Orange County. Having had good chats with OCO, I thought there was a possibility I could have gone at that pick. My feeling was somewhat right, as they did still opt for a WR, but just a different player. The next 2 WRs went at 12th and 13th overall, including my player, Shane Turnbull, at 13th. The drop off of talent is noticeable after that, as the next WR went at 23rd, and then 27th after that, and the final WR at 37th.

Some teams certainly made off better than others. Austin picked up 3 players who are above the 280 TPE mark. Baltimore picked up 5. Some teams, like NOLA and Sarasota, didn't manage to get any. It certainly doesn't mean there's any busts yet, but obviously seeing teams reel in a haul of quality players while you didn't get as much might leave some teams second guessing themselves. The Otters only picked up 2 players above the mark, but they are well above, including the class leader at a whopping 365 TPE currently.

Of the players in the class above 250 earned TPE, it looks like 13 of them are set to make their ISFL debuts immediately after the draft. Leading the way on the charts in that department is Cruella De Ville, at 353 TPE. Baltimore is making the call for 4 of their top 5 S38 prospects to hit the big leagues immediately. Austin also is set to have their 3 big draftees in the ISFL immediately. The other 6 players making the quick jump come from Berlin (2), Colorado, San Jose (2), Chicago. There could be a few players under 250 TPE making the jump as well, but likely to play filler, low impact positions. If any of these players have a shot at an instant rookie of the year win, I lean towards Cruella, or the #1 overall pick Tank to have the best opportunities at it.

The ISFL should expand. Most likely not this very second. But eventually, as the user base grows and grows and can be consistently active. I think expansion would be a good idea to keep the league fresh.

I have plenty of expansion ideas so ill get into the first one. ISFL Boston. Currently, the ISFL has teams in New York and Philadelphia. Two very prominent sports markets. However, I think Boston would make for a good rival for both teams and is known for its sports fans. I had a few ideas for a team name here but I settled on three possible names. Generals, Owls, and Bears. My favorite out of these is Owls. The ISFL does have a fair share of animal teams and this would be the 2nd bird-themed team. For a color scheme, I thought of a couple of different pallets. The first would be a maroon and yellow colorway. Initially, I wanted a red white, and blue thing but it is too similar to the Liberty, The next one and my personal favorite would be brown and gold, Similar to the Wyoming Cowboys football team. Some might find this to be ugly but I personally love it. These colors would make the Owls a unique team on the field.

Idea number two, ISFL Toronto. The ISFL has two international squads. One of those I am a player on in Berlin and the other is in Yellowknife. I think the Wraiths are cool, However, I think they are a bit desolate for where most Canadians statistically live. For Toronto, I thought of a few ideas. Huskies, Mounties, and Racoons.  None of these are original ideas, but I think all 3 of them work well. For colors, I thought of red and white, navy and white, or gold and black. I like the last one because its the most original and while it's similar to the London Royals of the DSFL, I think the styling choice could separate the two

My time in the ISFL so far has been a lot of fun. I have a lot of new friends that I have made such as the Norfolk LR, My teammates in Berlin and my GMs Rapid and Dewalt. I have met and made friends with users outside of my team such as Jaywe88 and Numbers. So far my player has played fairly well. I made a run at DRoTY in my first season in the ISFL which oddly enough was in my 2nd season of creation which is rare in the ISFL. My 2nd ISFl season I did not get the volume of picks but I proved I could hang with WR1s. After updating for S38 I should be even better and hopefully will be a pro bowl cornerback one day. The draft is honestly one of the best and most exciting parts of the entire league, as a first-gen,I had no idea where I was going. I had a lot of great convos with a lot of teams, However, Berlin was one of those teams I felt pretty confident in when it came to draft day. I had a feeling that I was going there and it was a lot of fun to see so many names being called including my own player. I don't really have anything to suggest to the league, I am sure the ISFL will continue to grow like many other sim leagues and that the needed changes that will happen will do so when the time is right. This is league is a blast and while it intimidated me at first I am really glad I stuck with it. I have been able to pursue graphic design more as a hobby in this league and I found a niche that I truly enjoy doing.

The Philadelphia Liberty live in hell.

Since coming in to existence in season 2, the Philadelphia liberty have won the Ultimus once, and have won a total of 7 playoff games. 6 of those 7 playoff games were won in the first 15 seasons of their existence. Since then, the Philadelphia Liberty have won just 1 playoff game. That's right, over the past 20(!!) seasons, the Philadelphia Liberty have won just 1 playoff game. The sole victory in the postseason came in S32, where Philadelphia went 11-5, a franchise record, secured the first seed, and won 4 games to start the season, tying a franchise record. That season another record was set for the Philadelphia Liberty, longest field goal. Kicker IKick Ballz in his first career game for the Liberty set a franchise record with a 59 yard field goal. The Philadelphia Liberty have never had a 60 yard field goal. Over the past 4 seasons (S34-S37), the Philadelphia Liberty have been the 4th place team in the NSFC, in all of these seasons except for S34, Philadelphia would have made the playoffs had they won just a single more game. This most recent season is a great example of how much bad luck the Philadelphia Liberty have had recently. Going in to week 14, all Philadelphia needed to do was win 1 more game, and they make the playoffs. In week 14, Philadelphia loses by 6 points. In week 15, Philadelphia loses by 1 point. In week 16, Philadelphia loses by 1 point again. Philadelphia did not make the playoffs after losing by 1 point twice in a row to end the season.

But ignoring failures in the playoffs, and chances where Philadelphia had a chance to make the playoffs temporarily, the regular season has been incredibly rough for Philadelphia for quite some time. From S24-S30, the best record the Philadelphia Liberty had was 7-9 in S25. Philadelphia was in a deep rebuild for a tremendously long time, made the playoffs once, won a single game, then lost in the NSFC title game. To compound this failure even further, and kicking us while we were down, the very next season, Philadelphia went 6-10. After 15 seasons waiting for a contender to emerge, Philadelphia got just one playoff win, and then missing the playoffs the next season. And in that season, another team that was in a deep rebuild for a similar amount of time won the Ultimus.

Now it is time to look at statistical output and awards. In S37, defensive player of the year was won by Arizona CB Mark Goodhead, who had a tremendous CB season. He had 29 passes defended which is tied for 64th all time, 3 forced fumbles, 1 fumble recovered, 0 defensive TDs, 83 tackles, and 9 interceptions which is tied for second most all time for a CB. Alone this is not egregious at all. What makes this egregious, is that in the season prior, a Philadelphia CB had the greatest CB season of all time, and did not win defensive player of the year. Philadelphia CB Willie Miller in S36 had 76 tackles, 1 forced fumble, 1 sack, 45 passes defended which is 1 short of tying the all time record, 2 defensive TDs, and 10 interceptions which not only tied the league record for interceptions, but is the only time a CB has ever had 10 interceptions (the other 3 times were all safeties).

All of this combined has led me to the conclusion that the Philadelphia Liberty live in hell, and at this point I fully expect us to miss the playoffs by 1 game yet again in this next season.

17. Your team has announced that they will be laying ground on a new stadium next season. What additions would you like to see included in it.

More PLAs, increased parking lot size and a functional post-game plan . It's all about entry and exit. On average I spend at least 7 hours a week at live sporting events and very few things really matter about what can be sold and what can be done at a park. 65% of people will not spend a single dime inside of the stadium itself, go see exhibits or do anything outside of view the main event . However, they will tailgate and wait in the 60 minute line to leave the events. People really sleep on the igress and engree of parking and the total value it adds to stadiums. I'm not talking about a plan for downtown venues, I'm talking about large outdoor facilities like a college or major event space. The new additions will easily take the new stadium to the best in the world, and it would create a new standard for future venues.

22. You’re in charge of entertainment for the Ultimus or Ultimini half-time show. What would you do?

History. Very few people really know and understand some of the biggest events that unfolded. Unless Netflix, Amazon or Hulu pump a ton of money into a sweet new documentary, most people will have no idea what The Sultana Explosion are or when Gold was Discovered at Sutter’s Mill. That's why productions like Hamilton are so incredible. It's a way to shed light on real events that people had no idea about, but are very important in the history of the nation. I would enlist the help of Lin-Manuel Miranda and Hugh Jackman, to create a tony-esk production of historical events that would both enlighten and entertain. Songs that would be catchy enough to make people remember them. Until you've heard Jackman do a number on the time in 1960 that the CIA spent over 20 million dollars to train cats to be spies, with the powerful lyrical stylings of Maranda, you haven't lived.

26. Football is a game that has been going on for a while, loved by fans all over. But what if you were able to make some rule changes? Talk us through your new version of football, and what would be different and why?

Kickers gotta go. Not punters. Field goals..... lame. Kickoffs...lame. You have people who train their entire lives to fit into a system built for 11 people. 11 puzzle pieces who have to work endlessly to uphold their end of the phalanx. Then here comes kickers. A person so insignificant that your kicker can go down and you can go into a frat house and find a soccer player and just ask them to hit the ball with their foot and be just fine. Does that seem fair? If it does then you clearly didn't play football for years and throw yourself into the grind. They have to go. 11 people fighting yard for yard to see who can win, then a 35 yard FG? No. If you can't score TDs, then you don't get points. Boom. Now everything is as it should be. Punters can stay, as a way to keep blowouts from happening, but that's it.

Task #6 

I don't know that I really have one specific thing to talk about this time around. It's a lot more of a jumbled mess of feelings and thoughts as a returning player to the league. I'll do my best to keep this as cohesive as possible but I make no promises. 

I want to begin with a couple of observations I've made about the league since I returned a few weeks ago. So, in returning to the league I found that certain aspects are incredibly fun and engaging, though there remains a few that are overwhelming. I think the league is certainly in a far better place than it was when I first joined in season 22. However, I think there are certainly some things that would turn off a complete newbie even to this day. For one thing. Money. As well all know, much like the real world. In the ISFL money is power. The problem arises when we look at the overall economy of the ISFL. I think one of the big things that turn people away from the league is how incredibly difficult it can be to gain the bank roll necessary to be a top tier player. 

I believe this is one of the primary reasons users can be turned off from the league. As I find myself facing a similar struggle to have the motivation to pump out the media it requires to keep up in earning. Of course it's a difficult situation for the league to try and fix. Should it be easy to max earn? Probably not. Though I believe some improvements are certainly needed in this regard. How do you make things more accessible to the average player in the league. Well, I have a few ideas though I'm not entirely sold on their viability. First and foremost is more double money events. Especially considering when I first tried the league double money wasn't even possible, it was only 1.5x. I find it interesting that more users are willing to do media when the payouts are boosted. Maybe this is something to look into. The second, have PT tasks give media payouts as well as TPE. I've always found the written PTs to be the most difficult thing to do. Not because they're difficult per say, but because they end up feeling like they aren't worth the effort. 

With all that being said, I'd like to talk about some things I have enjoyed since returning to the ISFL. First and foremost is media. Although I feel it is the most difficult part of the league for newer users. I find it the most entertaining aspect as someone who has been in the league for a while. Partly because it's in a way a chance to enjoy my favorite aspects of a true NFL season. (Mock drafts, rookie prospects, trades, etc.) But also because it allows me to enjoy my passion for writing in a new and interesting way. 

Secondly, I enjoy the league as a place to talk football away from the incredible delusions of places like twitter and reddit. Though at times I think people can take things a bit too seriously. It's far better than witnessing the absolute worst members of society going postal because the guy they drafted in fantasy didn't play how they wanted them to. 

Finally, I really enjoy the creativity I see across the league since my return. It feels completely different than I did my first time around. I don't entirely know what changed or what didn't. Thought I must admit I have so far enjoyed being back an awful lot more than I was anticipating I would when I first recreated. Here's to hoping I stick around this time.

4. Describe your player and/or team’s journey through this latest season. What were the highlights? What were the lower points? What might you have done differently? What are your expectations for next season?
Carissa included in her contract an agreement with the GMs that for every sack she makes, the GMs will give her a recipe. She's trying to get more at home in her apartment and especially with the kitchen appliances. She could microwave and do various pasta dishes at home in the Netherlands and in Norfolk, but she's trying to stretch her culinary muscles a bit more. She thought she' have maybe 2 or 3 sacks for the season, and get a nice couple beginning recipes to work with, but she ended up with 12. Almost a fortnight of recipes! She's super excited to try out a few, and even bought and decorated a binder to keep them in on her kitchentop. It's a nice calmer mustard yellow, a good food color, and it's got stickers of burgers, fries, and other items from a fast food sticker pack. They're kind of hologram-y and sparkly which is incredible and she sometimes stops in the morning just to lift the front and watch the sunlight play on the backsplash behind the sink. So, that is to say, she's making New Orleans a home for herself. In Norfolk, she had a nice place but always knew (or hoped, at least) that it would only be for a few years, so she didn't go beyond essentials and comforts. Now though, Secondline is looking like they want to keep her for a bit, and New Orleans is a good place to live, so she's going beyond comfort and into extravagant. She bought one of those huge L-shaped couches that swallows her right up, and tricked out one of the rooms in her apartment with home theater items, so she can watch replays and movies in surround sound. She's also playing with the idea of owning a pet, but wants to make sure she's got a stable schedule before going all in.

17. Your team has announced that they will be laying ground on a new stadium next season. What additions would you like to see included in it. (Written Task)
The Secondline are trying to figure out how to incorporate more of the local music scene into the stadium, so they've got an orchestra pit in the works. It's grand and placed in a calmer area, so as not to draw ire from drunk fans. Musicians on the field complained from too many drinks and beads thrown at them, so the pit it up in the rafter, and unless there's professional athletes in the stands it's going to be very hard to hit them. In addition to the orchestra, architects are working on big brass pipes next to the screens to really celebrate those touchdowns with a little doot doot. The stadium's going to be covered so the sun or rain aren't going to be beating down on the players, and the sidelines are going to have those low bars that allow players to jump up and celebrate touchdowns with fans. Because everyone loves that.

Task 1

Another season completed in this league and boy it was a fun one this time around cause of both champions were unexpected. For the DSFL, the Bondi Beach Buccaneers were the victors and for the ISFL, the Arizona Outlaws were the victors. Let's see how each arrived to victory.

For the DSFL, the BBB dominated from start to finish and finished with an 11-3 record with the most points scored and the 2nd least points allowed. The BBB averaged 29.1 points per game, 2nd best in the league, 375.1 total yards per game, 2nd most in the whole league, 122.8 rushing yards per game, 2nd most in the whole league, and 252.4 passing yards per game, 6th most in the whole league. Defensively, the BBB allowed 20.2 points per game, 2nd least in the whole league, 347.7 total yards per game, 2nd best in the whole league, 97.9 rushing yards per game, 4th best in the whole league, and 249.9 passing yards per game, fifth best in the whole league. In the playoffs, the BBB faced off against the Dallas Birddogs and had a close game through the game. However, with a game winning drive and turnover on downs, the BBB prevailed over the Dallas Birddogs, 31-21. In the Ultimini, the BBB faced off against the Portland Pythons. The Pythons were considered the favorites due to their talent disparity; however, the BBB prevailed in a decisive effort to capture the Ultimini in dominant manner!

Onto the ISFL now. The Outlaws have been memed on for seasons for having dominant regular seasons but losing early in the playoffs for several seasons in a row. However, this season, the Outlaws finally put it together and quelled their playoff demon. They started off 3-5 but went on a godly 8 game win streak to go 11-5 and outright capture the one seed in the ASFC. Offensively, the Outlaws, even by their standards, were "cracked". The Outlaws averaged 30.8 points per game, far and away the best in the whole league, averaged 374.4 total yards per game, good for 4th best in the league, averaged 118.6 rushing yards per game, good for 3rd best in the entire league, and averaged 255.9 passing yards per game, which is good for 8th best in the entire league. Defensively, the Outlaws were a bit below their standards but were still solid all around. Defensively, the Outlaws allowed 24.9 points per game, good for 9th best in the league, allowed 376.0 total yards per game, not good for 12th "Best" in the league, allowed 120.0 rushing yards per game, not good for 2nd worst in the whole league, and allowed 256.0 passing yards per game, good for 6th best in the whole league. In the playoffs with the bye, the Outlaws faced the Honolulu Hahalua in the conference championship and people expected the Outlaws to fold as usual. However, this was not the case as the Outlaws decisively won against the Hahalua and closed out the game 31-19. The Outlaws faced the fighting Lmaps, aka, the Sarasota Sailfish in the Ultimus where everyone thought they would finally lose again. However, like in the real life Super Bowl 48, the Outlaws dominated and humiliated the Sailfish and blew them out by 20 points, forcing Carter "Bozo" Knight to throw 2+ interceptions, capitalizing on one for a touchdown. Thus, the Outlaws finally redeemed themselves of their past playoff failures and captured their first championship since the days of the old league where there was controversy everywhere.

Now that S37 has concluded, many teams have made draft day trades in order to position themselves into the playoff race in S38. There are at least 4 true contenders and as many as 8 for this upcoming season! Let's see if it surpasses S37!
