Really Creative-Name has never been too into Halloween, but this year was a little different. You see, his uncle Schell had a baby a couple years ago and now she's at the age to go trick or treating, so instead of going to a hyped up celebrity Halloween party or watching scary movies all night, Really Creative-Name was found going door to door with his little cousin, watching her say "Trick or Treat" and "Happy Halloween" to everybody she came in contact with. He also was on candy safety patrol - I mean what good cousin would let a two year old eat a Heath bar or a Snicker when she can't truly enjoy it just yet...I mean when you're not sure if it's safe...yeah that's it. Anyways, Really Creative-Name had a great time with his extended family, ate far too much candy, and then caught a plane back to Berlin for the game later that week. It may not have been flashy, but he had a very happy Halloween.
Prompt Wrote:It's that time of year, whether the sim agrees or not! A night of frights and treats galore! There's so many different ways to celebrate the spookiest time of here, so this week, we're gonna find out how your player likes to roll on Halloween night! For this PT, talk about your player's Halloween adventures. Did they dress up and go to a party? Visit a haunted house? Hand out candy? Clog the team toilets? Go wild! For Halloween (and other holidays), I try to do what I can to help out the Austin community. This year I helped out with SCARE for a CURE which is raising money to help against breast cancer and for other local charity endeavors. We basically helped with an interactive haunted house kind of thing with tickets which were the main way of funding. It was a lot of fun to both be creepy and interact with fans while helping out for charity. I personally dressed up as a demonic football player to match the blood demon theme and people who were there had a lot of fun seeing me as well as enjoying the overall event. I'd like to say that I won't be helping them out next year due to fixing all the problems they're trying to address, but I'm sadly doubting that 1 year will be enough for that. Still, I think these kinds of events are a good way for ISFL players to help out with their communities in a way that still help to contribute with larger issues as well and so I'd recommend all other players look into doing something similar in their areas. There are sadly no lack of problems where charity can help out and we have a lot of visibility to assist those causes with. As a celebrity chef, I can pretty much do what ever I want for holidays. So of course, we have some tricks and some treats. Hosted a party and had some awesome treats for all the guests. Like spooky zombie cake and some skeleton ribs to munch on. For the spooky drinks we had some pumpkin spice martinis and some pretty awesome shots for everyone of legal drinking age. Granted I don't usually invite children to my parties because well it is a party for adults. For the tricks, of course we had some of the different snacks randomly had some ghost pepper or some other hot pepper added in, but only a few of each type. So a little bit of roulette for my amusement, but of course it ended up back firing and I ended up eating one of the hottest trick treats. But over all it was still a fun time. Only a few people fell in the pool on accident, which was of course colored red for the spooky party.
Well I didn't know much about Halloween till I got to this work but since I found out that is it a day thst you get to wear crazy stuff I embraced it pretty quickly. You see this is the one time a year that I don't have to hide my extra head and arm. Instead I go to as many parties as possible with my best clothes with my extra head and arm on show and I sure get a lot of compliments. I have even started to have my own party at Halloween, you see I can easily invite my alien friends to the party on earth without people staring and wondering why they look different. I can honestly say that Halloween is my favourite earth holiday, so if you excuse me I need to get my house ready for another rocking party, sorry you can't come, you just aren't froody enough.
For this halloween, Wendolene Ramsbottom dressed up as a sheep because she loves wool and has a few sheep herself that make her Wool for her shop and so she wanted to honor the sheep with her dress up. As part of her adventure, she went over to the house of Wallace and Grommit who were holding a halloween party and there was a lot of cheese and an evil penguin (literally, not even a costume) and the whole thing was just a super fun party that really made her be even closer to her crush, Wallace. The cheese was also delicious and she loved the taste of it. She also played a bit with Grommit and and her wool sheep outfit was a big hit at the party and everyone loved it and hopefully she can pull off the same costume again next year cause really it's the only one she is good at.
Halloween in the UK seems to be a less extreme version of the way it is in the US. I don’t think kids even tell jokes in return for sweets any more! So Gibson would throw himself into the more American traditions. Going crazy with costumes and throwing a big old Halloween party. He could go as a decent Cornerback, but nobody would believe that one!
Maybe, he could look at being a Sabrecat, getting a massive costume. Maybe even go for a pantomime horse type of affair and have a San Jose teammate play the back end (obviously). Maybe dream up some tricks to play on teammates in the locker room after practice on Halloween. Like putting Deep Heat in Russet Buster’s shorts, or putting hair removal cream in Owen Farrell’s shampoo. He wouldn’t touch rookie kicker Bootee McGavin though. He seems quite highly strung, a bit crazy, and like he might boot Gibson around the locker room!
As he gets older, Vincent Sharpei Jr continues to go slower so to speak in everything he does. This time around this year, instead of going out and having a great time, he invited all of the Chicago Butchers over to his house to have a nice Halloween, costume themed of course, and everyone took their turns giving out candy to trick or treaters that came to the house. Vincent Sharpei Jr is slowing down in every aspect on the field, but he still is able to enjoy the holidays with teammates and family members, just so everyone knows he still likes to have fun. This year, Vincent Sharpei Jr. was able to turn his basement into a haunted house as well, for the teammates and their families to visit, as there are so many different aspects of the house that aren’t always used during special events, and holidays. So hopefully next year it can expand even more.

As much fun as it would probably be, I’m not the kind of guy to wear a wacky costume. I’m way too big for most off the shelf costumes, and don’t have the time or talent to make my own. That said, Halloween is still a fun time of year, but I like to support from the sidelines on this one. That includes supporting neighborhood trunk or treats around both the Gray Ducks and Otters facilities, and hitting kids with that full size candybar experience. I just wear a simple stitched cloak that the Minnesota assistants helped me put together, and it’s got the nice big hood to keep me in the darkness, and add the spookiness…. Or worst case it helps me sleep during the events and not take away from anyone’s enjoyment.
After the candy, the team does have a Halloween party, and that’s where the fun really begins. Rolling up to the party in my enormous oversized cloak, and seeing half the other linemen dressed similarly makes me feel at home. (173 words)

“Yeah. It’s candy time,”
-Famous last words of Wraiths Teammates of J.T Kurbis What is Halloween about? Perhaps the costumes, the parties, the company of friends, or the candy? In the eyes of Wraiths Offensive Lineman J.T. Kurbis, it’s all of the above. At the Wraiths team party, Kurbis challenged teammates to candy identifying contests. Contestants were blindfolded and asked to identify various mainstream and offbeat candies, to varying degrees of success. The mastermind however, must also participate in the festivities, and defend his crown. It’s hard to maintain 300+ pounds afterall, so there were few Wraiths teammates who could challenge the GOAT. Yet in the finals, an unlikely, yet likely candidate emerged to overthrow the defending champion. Dusty Wilson, OL, and former teammate of Kurbis in Kansas City, sat across from him as they both donned the blindfolds. First round, that’s a Kit-Kat, easy. Twix, also simple in the second round. Third round, things started heating up. Was that a Snickers? Or a Milky-Way? Sweat rolled off the contestants faces in droves as they racked their brains to come up with the answer. “3 Musketeers!” Dusty Wilson triumphantly exclaimed. He was right, and a new candy king was crowned in Yellowknife. |
