Yellowknife started off very strong, but has been quite disappointing as of late. While they once looked like a juggernaut headed for a deep playoff run, they will now have to fight for a playoff spot. This is not what was expected just a few short weeks ago. Two straight losses have put the Wraiths in a precarious position. While still a top defense, they have given up over 20 points ten times this season, which is not good enough. They have not had any statement games on defense since weeks 7 and 8, when they gave up 17 and 10 points consecutively. Since then, they have gone 3 and 3, and giving up over 25 points a game in that stretch. The defense really needs to knuckle down in the final 2 weeks of the season. Firstly, to insure a playoff spot, and secondly to gain momentum for a strong playoff push. If not, this promising season will have a short and bitter end.

On a team level, Kansas City has done way more than they were expected. Last season, they were 4-10, and missed playoff, they were last place in the standing. This season, its the complete opposite, they are now 11-1, have already ckinched their way to a playoff spot, and are only 1 victory shy of homefield advantage for the post-season show. Its also fun to be a part of the best defense in the DSFL right now, and by far. On the personnal side, my player Sim Sunigh has done pretty decently, I wanted to have above 4.5 tackles per game, and right now, Im standing a 5 ; (60 tackles in 12 games). My sacks and TFL are a bit low, but it seems that as a MLB, it look a bit more difficult to make those than to be an OLB, but after a few updates, I expect to be a bit better in these stats. Finally I have 1 FF and 2 FR, 6 PD, and 1 Int, I feel pretty good about theses, especially the interception, I was not expecting to have one in my rookie season, and as a passrusher.
How did LaDamien Beck do last season/this season? Who knows! I've been IA for a year! Coming into this next season, I would like to try to do some PTs and stay active. I think by coming back, I have the potential to help Berlin win some hardware or at least keep the status quo from last year. While it may seem like a letdown that I've been IA so long, Berlin did take a flier with Beck late in the S32 draft and it has worked out almost exactly as planned. I'd like to see Beck contribute on the stat sheet next year, even though I will be fighting regression. While it's not ideal coming back at this time as opposed to earlier, I think we can do some good things next year in Berlin. But honestly, who knows because I have no idea who is good and who is bad. We could be the worst team for all I know.

For Austin Morley and the Chicago Butchers, I think it is fair to say that this season has been underwhelming after the relative success of last season. From a player performance perspective, Morley has done an adequate job operating as the team's number 2 receiver. With two games left in the season, Morley sits at 71 receptions for 960 yards (13.5 ypc) and 5 touchdowns, putting him on a path to finish with 81 receptions for 1097 yards and 6 touchdowns. That is a very similar stat line to last year's 75/1025/4. This was not the leap that Morley had hoped to take this season, though, as he had envisioned himself becoming one of the league's leading receivers. Morley did excel in the return game this year, though. Boasting the league's highest punt return yardage total (38 yards from a spot on the all-time season top 10 list) and highest average return (min. 10 returns). As a team, the final two games have the Butchers playing for pride, as they are almost certainly eliminated from playoff contention. (177 words)
The expectations for this season were SKY HIGH, just like that movie. Well they weren't exactly sky high, but for everyone on the Berlin Fire Salamanders, we expected to be a bit better than we were last season. Rookies can't get any worse so we, as a team, can't perform any worse. Well that's what I thought at least and that's what I think most of the players on the team thought. We definitely met those expectations, we went from last to motherfucking FIRST! Yeah, through several weeks, we were in last place last season and that has changed drastically, we're now the first in the conference, I think, that's what the stream said. My personal experience with meeting my expectations has been positive. I haven't set my personal standards too high because I'm a rookie on a team that's super young but I'm still very impressed with my progress and achievements.

This is my first season as a General Manager in the DSFL and I could not be more excited. I’ve loved Norfolk ever since I joined this league in Season 35. I love this team so much that at a recent health checkup, the facility ran a blood test and discovered my blood type was actually “Dark blue: #0F359 and Gray: #999999” which heavily concerned the doctor as apparently “Blood is supposed to be red what the hell is wrong with you oh my god you need to go to the emergency room immediately oh god oh no oh jeez.”
Clearly that dude has never been to Norfolk, otherwise he’d bleed those colors too. In all seriousness, it’s been a pleasure working alongside my co-GM @Ephenssta as well as the war room. We even managed to get rid of @negs this season, which is a huge bonus for team morale. Performance-wise, Norfolk has been outstanding. We lead our division with a monstrous run game, and our defense has an absurd amount of interceptions. We are contenders for the Ultimini, but regardless of where we finish, I am so incredibly proud of what this team has been able to accomplish, both on the field and in the locker room. Go boats. Disclaimer: If Princess Donut talks, its in caps lock. I apologize for any offense taken with this.

Coming off a good rookie year and being the lone send down receiver I expected to have a lot of volume like last season and similar results. I also expected the team as a whole to be much more well rounded and do pretty well. We have definitely been much improved this season. Fighting for 1st place for the majority of the year. Having a capped QB and WR coupled with a dominant run game has us looking much better offensively. My personal stats have gone down due to how successful we have been running the ball but I have been the perfect big play receiver to compliment the run game. We can run it down your throat all game but when we need a big play or just when the defense cheats up too much I can get over the top. It's been interesting seeing my role shift from super high volume to where sometimes I might just get 5 or 6 targets but one goes for 80 yards. All in all we are doing well and I am glad I stayed down another season.
