The DSFL season is coming to a close, and it's time for some reflection on this DSFL season for the team and my player Cornelius King's performance. The Dallas Birdogs are putting a cap on a rather disappointing season, as we're 3-10 with a game to go. which is surprisingly not bad enough to be the worst team in the South as the Bondi Beach Buccaneers are having an all-time bad season as they have yet to capture a win. Even though the birddogs are having a bad and disappointing season, it wasn't very unexpected, or rather, it was excusable. The Birdogs were hit with a lot of callups, including Matthew Mara and Turnbull, the team's 2 best wide receivers. Those callups directly opened a path for King as the team's #1 wideout. Also, Brock Landers, our team's former quarterback, chose to change positions to cornerback, so we had a new quarterback start. Despite the team's troubles, Cornelius King is having a career year; he currently has 939 yards and 9 touchdowns.
