The New York Silverbacks are a middling team in the ISFL, with a record of 3 wins and 4 losses. Donte Darius, though he is only a rookie, had this to say to the locker room following their most recent win. “This one’s a start. But we ain’t finished yet. We got a long way to go before we can even think about slowing down. One week at a time, keep building that chemistry, keep building that trust. And eventually, everything is gonna fall into place. We work hard in practice, so do you want to see all that work lead to another disappointing season? I didn’t think so. So we’re gonna go out there and we’re gonna give it our all because we already know we are the best in the world!” When questioned about Darius’s speech, teammates were quoted as saying “Wow that was terrible” and “Please just stick to football”.

I know that the journey to success in football is not an easy one. It requires hard work, dedication, and discipline. But I want to remind you that every challenge you face is an opportunity to grow and become a better athlete. Every time you step onto that field, remember that you have the potential to achieve greatness. Never let setbacks or setbacks discourage you. Instead, use them as fuel to drive you forward. Every time you face a challenge, remind yourself that it is an opportunity to prove your determination and resilience. Remember that the true measure of success is not how many games you win, but rather how you handle adversity and come back stronger. So never give up, and keep pushing yourself to be the best you can b,e I believe in you, and I know that with hard work and perseverance, you can achieve all of your goals. So keep working hard, stay focused, and never lose sight of your dreams. The sky is the limit, and I have no doubt that you have what it takes to rise to the top.
Dear teammates,
Do you consider yourself a winner? Because you should. You’re nice enough, you’re smart enough, and gosh darn it, people like you. Now, you may say to yourself, “How do all of those things contribute to success on the football field? It’s a super nice thing you to say, manic, but seriously, how?” To which I respond with a resounding, “They don’t! Not even a little bit!” But hey, if you can’t win on the football field, you should at least win off the football field. Now, it’s important to note that this team is, at the moment, playing very, very well. You should all be proud! But, as some of you may not know, I am absolutely fantastic at helping to get teams to the big game, and then choking, and choking hard. Ask anyone that’s been on a team with me in the ISFL. I’ve lost something like 12 Ultimus games. But does that doom us to never win an Ultimini? Hell no! In fact, last time I was in KC I won one. So, you know, let’s be like those guys... or something. I dunno. Just do some good football. FISHIES. WE HAVE UNSETTLED BUSINESS WITH THE ULTIMUS. Back to back championship game losses really hurts the morale of a team. This was palpable my rookie year last year when he missed the playoffs following the second of those two brutal losses. That is behind us. We are 6-1 with our only loss coming in overtime to the only team in the league that you could argue is better than us. We are playing with some fire and it is showing. We must keep it up. We will play harder than any team ever has before. We will march into the playoffs as the 1 seed and decimate those before us. We will get to the championship game and crush our opponent with no mercy. We all know that playing well all season can be vanquished in the playoffs so we must stay sharp at all times. This is not a request. DO YOU HEAR ME!?!?!? AHJ;LFHGRO[BGIDRF[ROH!!!!!
After the week 7 Otter victory against the struggling Hahalua a film crew recorded the following speech made by Bender to his teammates:
"You bags of meat make me so proud to be a robot! I mean, you all played okay. But I played great. With my grit, and a little bit of help from you guys, we destroyed that team from Hawaii. We need to keep that going! I want that end of season bonus so I can blow it at the casino. We need to keep training, keep drinking, keep smoking, whatever gets you better. Most importantly, we need to keep updating (as he says this, he menacingly looks into the camara, breaking the 4th wall). We can do this. Only one game separates us from a playoff birth! And that team is the Secondline. We all know they will choke. So let's go out there and bend some mothers next week!!" Code: 152 words -------------------
The Kansas City Coyotes are off to an okay start after a strong S38 13-1 season. The Coyotes hold a 4-2 record so far and the team needs an extra boost to get back winning more games. Jimmy Ryder, S39 Kansas City Captain, brought all the players into the meeting room to give a speech to the team. Ryder is a rookie this season after being drafted 8th overall in the S39 DSFL draft, but has made an impact to the team the second he joined. The guys all respect his dedication and hard work pays off mentality when it comes to football. Ryder went on to say, "Everyone needs to take a breath and realize we are not the same team as last season. We have many new faces that are still warming up to the Coyotes style of football. We hold a winning record and you all should be proud. There's no point in thinking of the past when we're dealing with the present right now, so let's dial in and cruise our way to another playoff run."
Team, I may just be your kicker, but I am here to motivate you all. The wheels are going to be greased, the strings will be pulled, and we will win this game and the many more after it. It has been a while since we have been to the playoffs and competed for the big one, but this group we have assembled here is a special one. I expect big plays out of each and every one of you because you are all the best and have great potential. Each one of us owes it to the person sitting next to us. We are here to play for the guy or gal next to you. To make sure they get to the playoffs. We owe it to these fans that come out and buy all our jerseys. We owe it to management who believed in us and put us all together for the hope of making a deep playoff run.
