Personal problems can be the downfall of any player. Season two was a difficult time for me as an individual and really tested my limits. I lost development on those around me and really set my career back but sometimes things like that can't be helped, things just happen and you have to take them day-by-day. I'm no stranger to difficulties and fighting through the bad times. I have dealt with that my entire career and now as I return with a full head of steam and the will to succeed - I will not be held down.
Season two was a struggle for me in a lot of ways. But Sundays were my therapy. Despite my development during the week keeping me from tapping all my potential - I feel like I had a pretty good season. 8 sacks, 12 passes defended, 2 forced fumbles and 3 recovered fumbles, yeah I had a pretty good year. I wasn't among the elite-of-the-elite, but I feel I can get there. I am not sure if I get there with Colorado or if somewhere else is where I will find the promised land, but wherever I am is going to have a great player and someone the locker room will rally around.
Nothing is going to stop the train that is Fulton, I want to be the best and you have to aim for the top. I'm the kind of player that can create havoc in the backfield, stuff runners on the outside and be the difference. But the skills I bring that matter are my heart and will to win. I want to win as much or more than anyone else in my locker room. One of the most important quotes relating to football was said by Troy Polamalu, when he said the following:
Working with your teammates and being willing to go out there and bleed for every one of teammates is what allows teams to succeed.
So I guess this short article of self-focused information is here to announce one thing...

Quote:I've never been a fan of individual awards because football is such a team sport. There's so many things that goes into making plays. It's about teammates trusting one another and working together.
