Hi everyone! This is the first article in a six-part series, which will detail the entire S41 draft class with a holistic analysis of every prospect, including their TPE, league contributions, team connections, and more. I reached out to fellow S41 newbie @wizard_literal to help out with the research and writing for such a monstrous task, and I’m pleased to say that I’m very happy with the results, and genuinely hope you enjoy the read. This first article will go into the 2 Quarterback prospects, 7 Running Back prospects, and 4 Kicker/Punter prospects. Further articles will be formatted for the following position groups:
Hello it’s the wizard himself here to assist all you ISFL GMs with scouting this absolute monstrous class of prospects! First and foremost a massive thanks to @aeonsjenni for reaching out to me and giving me the opportunity to work on this project! Intros for proceeding articles will be a bit shorter, but to start the series off we wanted to do something special and highlight the DSFL -> ISFL team pipelines from what Jenni and I have best been able to figure out. There are plenty of users in this class that merit selection on their own, but it’s certainly worth keeping in mind where teams might focus scouting efforts.
In addition to talking to my insider league sources, I’ve tagged every GM below and attempted to tie them to their affiliate teams in the effort of concocting some sort of pipe line. Hopefully I haven’t made any mistakes, but if I have, please leave a comment below to correct me! - wizard_literal

QBs
There’s only two quarterback prospects, but they’re both high-earners and will both likely find a comfortable place in the league. The only teams for which we identified a material draft need at quarterback were Austin, Berlin, and Yellowknife, all of which have a quarterback who is looking to regress sooner rather than later and no quarterbacks waiting in the DSFL. Of these, Austin has the most significant need, so look for them to take the top quarterback available.
Maximum-Earning
Lloyd Bannings-@bowl0-
Pocket Passer
Re-create, Big Bank,
“bowl0 is doing his first re-create after finishing a career in Orange County that started in S29. From the looks of things he was a GM for Orange County as well, so normally I’d say to be ready for the Otters to draft him. However, as the Otters already have a more-than-complete QB room, look to see a more QB-needy team go for him instead. Bannings may be in high demand as he’s the only surefire quarterback available in the draft, and a team may draft him early to lock down the position for the future. This user sports a massive bank of nearly 170 million, so any question of earning potential faces no money barrier.” - Jenni
“Easy first overall pick in my book. Lloyd “Ban Hammer” Bannings is a lock for a 13 time MVP and Hall of Fame career. All jokes aside, the :banhammer: has a well versed history and league ties that may dictate where he ends up, so draft speculation is a bit redundant here. Instead I’ll just say that bowl0 has been a very welcome presence in the Tijuana locker room and I hope to see him in the league for years to come.” - wizard_literal
Moderate-Earning
Jake Jefferson-@thecanadiancanuck-
Scrambler
Re-create
“This re-create is from a user who I understand to be a former SHL GM, who has been somewhat active on Discord and has been updating her player well. The primary concern is that her past ISFL players showed only intermittent activity, which unfortunately is not enough to make for a successful QB. Jefferson’s draft position will greatly depend on whether or not they agree to switch positions, but if not, I would love to see a team pick them up to potentially use as a gadget QB for running plays. Of course I wouldn’t mind being proven wrong. If thecanadiancanuck can stay active and keep earning well I’d be very happy to see Jake Jefferson become a long-term starter.” - Jenni
“I think Jenni covered this pretty well so I’ll just say props to @thecanadiancanuck for sticking to her guns and not switching from quarterback. I’d wager Jake Jefferson is a name we’ll be hearing a lot about in a few seasons once he makes it to the ISFL.” - wizard_literal
RBs
I get the feeling that this season’s running back class is fairly small: with only 7 users, 3 of which are inactive, running backs may finally be able to avoid position-switching questions and still earn a high draft pick. However, only NOLA has an identifiable need at running back, so expect even the top backs of this class to fall to a later round.
Maximum-Earning
Kyle Crane-@Ultimatedestroye-
Receiving Back
New-create, Graphics, Big Bank
“Kyle Crane was not drafted into the DSFL but instead was an early waiver pickup. Since then he’s been a top earner in the S41 draft class and the only max-earning RB available. He’s made graphics in the past and has an impressive bank for a new player, over 28 million. The activity on Discord is also impressive. The only serious detriment is an expressed desire to not change positions. However as there is a very small RB class this season I imagine that the first team to consider RB a need will pick up Kyle Crane, likely in the first couple rounds.” - Jenni
“Opposing defenses cower in fear when they have to face Kyle “The Claw” Crane! Ultimatedestroye is a fellow Luchadores teammate of mine and is well worth the consideration of any team looking to add a Runningback to their ISFL send down pipeline.” - wizard_literal
Moderate-Earning
Sticky Hands-@Quasi-
Receiving Back
New-create, Graphics
“Quasi is a new user who has been earning well and has made a few graphics already. Sticky Hands’ draft position will likely depend on whether they are willing to change positions, as is the case for many running backs, I think. If they put out a solid media or prove they can keep up with the graphics, though, their draft position will probably improve greatly, as the earning is already there.” - Jenni
“Quasi has been a bit of a quiet surprise in the DSFL this season putting up impressive numbers for a newcreate sharing carries with S40 first round pick Howard Coward. ISFL scouts should be sure not to sleep on this Receiving Back!” - wizard_literal
Malik Brooks-@AK41-
Receiving Back
Re-create, Graphics, Head Office, Big Bank,
“Malik Brooks is a re-create by the user AK41, who is currently the GM for a PBE team. I’m happy to say that I’ve interacted with this user in the Buccaneers locker room, and he’s shown to be a friendly person who is happy to lend a helping hand to the new users. He put together an extensive group media project to help some of the team’s players to earn some money, and he is skilled and enthusiastic in making graphics. His previous player played for San Jose, but it may not be likely for the Sabercats to draft him,as he retired his last player very early and immediately re-created this one.” - Jenni
“Bondi Beach Buccaneers offensive captain Malik Brooks was a late joiner for the S41 class, but they’ve gone above and beyond to show they have what it takes to be an ISFL all-pro. Between league history, affiliate ties, and their bankroll I expect AK41 to be a standout user when we look back on the S41 class” - wizard_literal
Eilliot Berry-@titanfan34-
Power Back
Re-create
“Eilliot Berry is technically a re-create, but titanfan34 never created an update page for their S40(?) player. This time around they’re updating well, but have almost no money in their bank. Teams will want to see this user make a little bit more money if they’re going to draft them as early as their TPE might suggest.” - Jenni
“A late round draft pick by KCC Running Back Eilliot Berry has had an impressive rookie season on the field. They’ve done a good job earning this season and if they were good enough for @TubaDeus and @domffl to draft they’re good enough for me.” - wizard_literal
Low-Earning
Akele Kekela-@YoungBuck-
Receiving Back
Re-create, Inactive
“This user last made a post a little over two weeks ago, so I’m going to go ahead and assume that they’ve gone inactive. They’ve made a graphic and have done a few point tasks, though, so a team may want to take this user amongst the top of the inactives if they believe they can lure them back into the league.” - Jenni
Minimum-Earning
Quarl Walkins III-@LilOslicki-
Fullback
New-create, Inactive
“Quarl Walkins III is the only fullback available out of 92 prospects, but also has only been updated to the minimum draft cut-off of 57 TPE, and has since gone inactive. Teams may be interested to know that this user may be IRL friends with an active user in the league, so there’s at least an avenue to maybe bring them back to the league.” - Jenni
Doggi O’Farraday-@thatdoggikid-
Power Back
New-create, Inactive
“This user is firmly inactive, last logging on only 4 days after creating their account. However, they do have 8 TPE to spend from their rookie task if they decide to come back.” - Jenni
KPs
With the nature of positional requirements in the league it’s not surprising this class doesn’t have a lot of depth at Kicker and Punter. That being said, of the prospects we do have there are some absolute great players any team looking to draft this position should be eager to grab. After all, special teams is one third of the game!
Maximum-Earning
Ray Baker-@jdc4654-
Accurate
New-create, Graphics, League Job, Big Bank
“Is Ray Baker destined to be the greatest kicker of all time? It’s not impossible. He’s a max-earning new user who’s made some fantastic content, most notably a number of short videos that are a joy to watch. Teams should be looking to draft Baker not only for his high earning, but also as someone who would make for a great addition to a team’s locker room. It’s not out of the question that he may produce a hype video or two for the team that drafts him, which may be reason enough.” - Jenni
“I once saw Ray Baker kick a football 100 acres. I’d take out a second mortgage to bet on him to do it again if given the chance.” - wizard_literal
Moderate-Earning
Bob Kickerson-@Tiktaalik-
Accurate
New-create
“The user Tiktaalik hasn’t made anything in regards to media or graphics, but they have been updating their player regularly. They are also a PBE GM, so I expect the team that drafts them will be pleased to get a productive kicker who maintains their update page but doesn’t greatly contribute in other ways. For a kicker/punter, there’s not so much more for a team to ask for.” - Jenni
“I’m a nitwit for not having Bob Kickerson on my radar until a few days ago. Tiktaalik has all the credentials to back up his players on field performance this season clocking in at 96.4% xp and 82.4% field goal rates. Any team looking for a long term kicker, look no further.” - wizard_literal
Low-Earning
Wade Right-@Rojefmo-
Accurate
New-create
“Wade Right gets points for having a great player name, being Ray Baker’s backup, and for staying somewhat active. Teams will want to see more consistent activity or some other type of contribution if they’re going to draft them any earlier than the late rounds, though.” - Jenni
“As Jenni said even if Rojefmo is on the lower side of earning they look to be active as of late. Any activity is a good activity in my opinion! Could certainly be worthy of a late round pick especially if a position change is a possibility.” - wizard_literal
Minimum-Earning
Alex Roth-@Arekkusu-
Power
New-create, Inactive
“Alex Roth, the only Power Kicker available, is a top contender for this draft’s final pick, as they have only 57 TPE and are a long-inactive kicker.” - Jenni
- Wide Receivers
- Tight Ends and Offensive Line
- Defensive Line (DT + DE)
- Linebackers
- Defensive Backs (CB + S)
