Reality is, not a lot of people get to play QB. There is only enough for one per team, so only 22 QBs total in the league. So I'm going to follow the 3 starting rookie QBs and try my best to do a critical "Skip Bayless or whoever hated Tom Brady on ESPN" impression and rank these 3 QBs every (in real life) week.
Zisia Ojeisndiwoseodj - Minnesota Grey Ducks - Tier A+
Zisia was the only starting rookie QB week 1 to have played in the Prospect Bowl as a QB and be drafted as a QB. And his experience in the position showed. Even coming from such a tiny school as Glendale Community College, Zisia opened up his DSFL career like an absolute stud. 67% completion, 390 passing yards, 4 TD passes, and an (after one game) league leading 136 QBR. Really outstanding stuff here. On top of that performance, Minnesota also went on to upset last seasons division champs, Portland. Things are really looking up for this duck, quack!
Josh Patterson - London Royals - Tier B
Josh was taken as a CB by the Royals in the draft and somehow found himself throwing the ball once he arrived in London. Quite a surprise to the fans. Josh performed very well for his first game of the season. 69% completion with 3 TDs is nothing to scoff at. However London fell short to Kansas City, who despite finishing last in the previous season, has started this one with a bang. Josh really only has to look forward though. He will gel with teammates and only get better from here so watch out.
RE #38 - Bondi Beach Buccaneers - Tier F-
Last and very least, we have RE #38. What Bondi Beach was thinking, asking a D-Lineman to switch to QB no one will know. But they saw something at camp and in practice and decided to stick with it. Now, it would be unfair to put a bad day for Bondi Beach on #38s shoulders, but really he's gotta do better. A extremely low 10 passes completed (and 40% completion) and 2 picks with 0 TDs. An absolutely rock bottom QBR of 19. Good news RE #38 only has one direction to look, that is up. Is it too early to be raising the alarm for the Bucs? Only time will tell, but the reigning champs will have a very long season if RE #38 doesn't find the form soon.
