In a stark contrast to his rookie season in the DSFL, Emile's rookie season in the ISFL has been a quiet one. At this time last season, Emile had staked a claim as a top receiving option for the Portland Pythons and sat near the top of the league for receptions and receiving yards. Contrastingly, Emile has fallen down the depth chart in his rookie season in the ISFL, moving from WR3 to WR4 with Berlin's midseason acquisition of Ttollem Mada. While the lack of opportunities could be seen as a negative, it has not dampened Emile's outlook who remains committed to the Fire Salamanders and continues to work week in and week out to develop his skills. With a sluggish offensive performances to start the season it was natural for the team to look to bolster their receiving options. So while this resulted in less of a role for Emile, the move did improve the receiving core and added an additional veteran presence who can help Emile learn the ropes. Overall, a productive season in terms of personal development but not one in terms of on field production.
