Clint Mustache is living the dream in Berlin right now. Not because of how he's playing, but because he's found a fantastic smaller regional theatre that will allow him to act in the off-season (and even an occasional guest role during)! No, Clint Mustache is actually playing football like hot garbage right now. Through ten games, Clint Mustache has recorded just 19 tackles, three tackles for a loss, and zero sacks. What's that, a defensive end, through over a half of a season and no sacks? You betcha! Now, there's a few things that bring a little light to this very sad situation. First and foremost, Clint is spending a fair amount of time playing defensive end. Clint is not built to play in the middle. He's fast, he's getting shiftier by the day, but he is not strong. When he's finally good enough, I expect the shift to defensive end will help with the lack off sacks. More good things, he's on pace to record roughly thirty tackles (almost 50% more than last season), has already tied his tackles for loss count from last season, and has a much better tackle rate so far (~77% -> 95%). Do things look bleak for the former first round pick? Absolutely! But, things are looking up. Kinda.
