Howdy all, welcome to another rule summit results post by me
This season, saw a DSFL and ISFL ballot, with no Universal ballot. Lets get onto the results.
DSFL
The DSFL Ballot consisted of 1 rule proposal. With a voting party of 14 members (8 DSFL teams, 5 DSFL HO members and 1 owner), 10 votes were required to pass (>70% of voting party). All members of the voting party voted on time.
Proposal 1 - Change rule IV.D.2 regarding rookie positions swaps from:
Rookies may choose to switch positions or archetypes one time, free of charge from the point of creation up to the last update of their first season after the DSFL draft. This does not count as their one career position switch. They may reallocate 100% of their TPE in this switch with no penalty.

12 Votes For - 2 Against
Rule Passes
ISFL
The ISFL Ballot consisted of 2 rule proposals. The voting party should consist of 23 members (14 ISFL teams, 8 ISFL HO members and 1 owner), however New Orleans Second Line failed to vote, incurring a $2,000,000 salary cap fine for S43 as a result (@MobiausGrander @Jaywe88). With the 22 voting members, proposals need 16 votes to pass (>70% of voting party)
Proposal 1 - Players may not sign a contract with any team, including their own, until after the Ultimus of the last year of their contract. All players in the final year of their contract will enter free agency.
0 Votes For - 22 Against
Rule Does Not Pass
Proposal 2 - The maximum length of a contract is 3 years. This now applies to all players, eliminating lifetime contracts.
7 Votes For - 15 Against
Rule Does Not Pass
DSFL Proposal 1 will be implemented immediately so the newest rookies to the league can take advantage of the new rule, whilst on the backend the update team, DSFL GM's and HO will work out the exact best method in order to track the timing of positions switches in that final week to ensure swaps take place before the draft.
As always, any suggested rule changes or proposals can be brought up to any GM or HO member, as well as posted in the forum or discord suggestion boxes, or even as media/discussion posts as we will always monitor these areas and be made aware of their existence.
That is all from me, enjoy the 2nd week of the off-season as we gear up for another exciting season of dot football!
