For Ace Anderson, his rival is definitely long-time friend Hank Mardukas. Even though their rivalry is a bit friendlier, the two are always gibing back and forth on who's player and who's team is better. Now that Hank has made the step up into the ISFL, Ace is working extremely hard to reach the ISFL in the next few seasons to help put the beat down on the New Orleans Secondline and keep the rivalry alive. For now, Ace's goal is to help the Dallas Birddogs reach the DSFL Playoffs this season, a feat that Hank was unable to accomplish with the Minnesota Grey Ducks. Any accomplishment that Ace can hold over the head of Hank is a win in his book. Hopefully, Ace is able to make sufficient progress to join a strong Sarasota Sailfish team for the S43 Season so that the two players can take their rivalry back to the field!
I have a major rivalry with Wing Wang @platanocat . This player, though a friendly user and good person, happened to create my only kicker competition in this most recent draft. He also just had to show me up by buying T6 equipment. This shows that our dispute is akin to class warfare. I am just a lowly peasant kicker, while he is the kicker of the bourgeoise. I'm happy that I get to avoid him for this DSFL season, but once I am called up next season I will once again have to share the league with the animal. I'd also like to say that while he did have a great season last year, that is because Tijuana would always stall when they were in chip-shot range. Therefore, although Wang made 12 more field goals than me, he was given 10 opportunities under 30 yards. I was given 2. I had to do harder work. Although he may always surpass me in TPE, I will pray long and hard to the sim gods to smite him. I will be the superior S42 kicker.
This is the easiest prompt Rico has ever had because the answer is Bruce White. Since the moment they met, Bruce and Rico have had a (mostly) friendly rivalry both on and off the field. In the DSFL draft, Bruce was drafted before Rico and continually let him know it. Then, during their first and only DSFL season, Bruce won many accolades to include MVP while Rico was shut out. Bruce again came out on top in the ISFL draft, going top 5 while Rico almost slipped out of the first round. However, Rico finally obtained some bragging rights after their rookie season. While Bruce tied the DSFL single season sack record, he found the ISFL a much more difficult beast. He was only able to accrue two sacks during the entire year, whereas Rico had five from the safety position. This led to non-stop bragging in the off season by Rico. It's going to be just as competitive for the rest of their careers and hopefully will be highly entertaining.
"...TheRake may be the most controversial new player of the S41 class. Notorious not only for shamelessly tampering but also for confidently arguing his broadly incorrect NFL opinions, TheRake has managed to navigate the dangerous waters of controversy fairly well—which is no small feat!" - aeonsjenni
