Though just put on to the Minnesota roster. Norman has been able to get a lot of help from players outside the locker room. Joey Din has been a giant help to Norman in getting ready for his rookie season. Been a workout partner, checking in and pushing Norman to the limits. He wast Norman to flourish in the ISFL and was one of the reason why the Grey Ducks took Norman in to finish the season this year. Though in his first appearance Norman was not on the stat sheet Din gave words of encouragement to make Norman worked worked even harder. Giving him advice on how to proceed in his training, hit the weight room. Doing road work with him and showing him the right ways to do things. Its only a matter of time till they meet on the actual field of play be it teammates or a competetors.
@DeadlyPlayer aka The They Tha Cruciatus Curse is a standout cornerback and an even better teammate. He injects a good bit of fun into the already great London locker room, putting it over the top and making it a top destination for new users. While he's often late to the conversation, he makes it good when he gets there . On the field, he's having an amazing season where he's leading the LEAGUE in picks, defensive TDs, and somehow also tied for first in forced fumbles and fumble recoveries. That's insane for a rookie cornerback, and is really taking the London defense to the next level.
Outside of the LR, he's started getting more involvement in the community game nights, which I finally took part in this weekend. It's a great bit of fun and I gotta thank him and the team for putting it together. He's also the imposter 7/10 times in Among Us, just for anyone who needs to know to vote him. Quote:164 words
If there is one player that Jay Cue III relies everytime he is on the pitch, that being practice or a competitive game, that one player that everyone knows can turn the game on its head and help the team destroy their opponent or come back from a 3 score deficit, that player that you can always count on to be a fabulous locker room presence, that leader that each team needs to have to be successful, that one guy that sometimes looks more like the team psychologist, in the way that he listens to his teammates and helps them overcome, not only football related problems, but also personal ones... has to be himself.
Cue does not rely on anyone but himself. He knows he is the Man, the one and true future GOAT, so why would he waste time with anyone else but himself? He does not even listen to his coaches, he just goes out there and do great. (161 words)
LeHarm James loves many members of his draft class in Dallas. Octavion Speedings, Keanu Calhoun, Bread Bowl, Luigi Numberone, but one teammate of his has some similarities. Ace Anderson, much like LeHarm James, grew up in the South and emerged as a high school prospect in Florida. While James went to Arkansas for college, Anderson went down to "the swamp" of Gainesville and attended the University of Florida in the same conference. The two saw each other on two different occasions, their freshman year when they played in Gainesville, and their senior year in Fayetteville. They didn't think much of it, but they respected each other as athletes. The two were then brought together when they were drafted in the 1st and 2nd round of the DSFL Draft by Dallas. They then bonded over their experiences being from the South and as "true rookies" in the fact that their agents were also new to the league. A position swap for both later. They both stayed down and are looking to do better than their first season.
Honestly, our team on YKW has tons of great leaders, and players as well. It is probably the most mature group in the entire league if we are being honest here. Each teammate of mine is respectful and knows what is expected of them! In terms of pure PUMP ME UP STUFF guy, probably @dustywilson22. This guy will legit pump everyone up in the LR and displays that same character on the field. this guy is the ultimate hype man and i love having him as a teammate. I dont know what award he would win (although is a top OL in the league so i mean he will win awards anyways) for this specifically, but he wins the Inagural Weaves "Hype Man of the Year" Award. The energy on and off the field, the game recaps in the locker room, it is an easy choice in my mind, but as I said -- we have an entire locker room of winners and there really is no bad actors in YKW!
