The turning point for RE #38 was during his first season ever playing QB in a professional capacity for Bondi Beach. In college he had played TE and Edge rusher but had only thrown the football when having fun at practice. For some reason Bondi Beach saw something in him and wanted him at QB leading the team. The turning point comes about midway through S41 (RE #38s rookie season). Unfortunately, RE #38s tenure at QB did not start well, Bondi Beach was 0-5 and facing rivals Tijuana who were 5-0 at the time. The media was blasting RE #38 for going winless so far and the pressure was on. RE #38 took the chance to prove the doubters wrong and scored a game winning TD with 1 minute left in the game to beat heated rivals Tijuana 31 - 30, handing them their first loss of the season. That TD capped a 400 yard and 4 TD performance. It silenced the doubters and RE #38 finally felt he belonged playing QB in the DSFL. It was arguably the performance and game of the season and will be song about in pubs in Bondi for a lifetime. That win helped Bondi gave Bondi Beach a major boost for the rest of the season, where they won the next 3 games to help barely secure a playoff spot. That game has so far been the highlight of RE #38s career and despite the rumors that he won't be playing QB for much longer, will cement him in legend in Bondi Beach.
Ryan McBean was always a large presence. Even as a kid at the age of 8, he was as tall as his mom and 20 pounds heavier. He was also very aware of this, especially when juxtaposed against friends and classmates his age. He was always aware of his body and just how much space he was taking up. Ryan's parents took notice of this, and sat down with him to have a discussion about how he could use his size to his advantage. His father, having been a football player himself, explained how big dudes like Ryan were valued on the field for their sheer presence and ability to get to the quarterback. Up until this point, Ryan had never played football. However, after this conversation with mom and dad, he decided that he would as soon as he could. It was this decision that would set Ryan on the path he is on now and becoming a professional football player.

Sean Robinson had to make a big decision in high school. Was he going to play football or basketball. He chose football. Sean had always liked basketball as a kid. He was one of those kids that was good at every sport. Basketball, football, baseball, you name it. The sport of basketball just made him feel at home. But it was nothing like how football made him feel. Once high school hit for Sean, he had to choose between basketball or football. Was he going to go pro in basketball or football? It was crossing his mind for months until he finally decided in the late summer. He thought that football would be the best thing for him so he chose that. To this day, Sean does not regret his decision to choose football over basketball. He is excited to see where his career takes him and is having the time of his life playing for the Silverbacks.

Iggy Cleet did not have any aspirations to get into football as a child. He certainly didn't have the athletic talent for such a lifestyle. In fact Iggy's childhood hobby was leather working. He spent his childhood days dreaming of ways to fabricate various dry hides into beautiful works of art. If he wasn't in school he had his hands on any pieces of full grain, top grain, genuine, bicast, or bonded leather he could get his hands on. None of that Corinthian garbage. Had it not been for that fateful day on that school field trip, he would never have gotten into football at all. (https://wiki.sim-football.com/view/Ignat...arly_years)
The only exposure he had to football by the fifth grade was seeing and holding that wonderfully constructed piece of leather. When the chance to go to the football making factory came up, he knew he could not pass up the opportunity. From that day on his destiny was no longer to build with the pig-skin, it would instead be to run with it. To catch it when thrown to him, or to hit others and take it from them. He was determined hence forth to be the fastest, and strongest and best catching-est human to ever work with leather on and off the field.
Mike: Its Mike Blueberg, the legendary radio host and consistent promoter of Sanchez Agency Inc talent. Today we are joined by first time guest Reginal Arceneaux. Reginald play’s running back for the Dallas Birddogs of the DSFL.
Reginald: Thank you for having me. Mike: I have to ask you, I know you’ve been having a pretty mediocre first season… do you have any regrets? Anything you wish you’d have done differently? Reginald: Often times I ask myself, what could have been? What if I’d showed up to more personal training (PT) opportunities. I know I’ve missed out on all the PT chances since I’ve joined the league… if I had that training, my speed might be rated an 81 instead of an 80. Mike: Interesting take. So, do you plan to prioritize PT times in the future? Reginald: Not really. It’s hard being a 5th priority client of my agent. He doesn’t push me to train as hard as he does others. But hey, I’m here now. Mike: Thank you for joining us. We hope to see you in training again soon.
Cregory Jerrith IV went through one crazy offseason before he got to the ISFL and there is so much to say about it that I am not even sure I could put it into only 150 words! In the same offseason, Jerrith IV underwent a position change from cornerback to quarterback, and a name change from Tingis Pingis to Creg Jerrith IV. He also changed bodies. it was a ridiculous experience but one that has been overall successful. Jerrith IV reacted great earning OROTY and two pro bowls already. He also has an Ultimus trophy which is the prize of his collection and is having a solid but unspectacular season so far now. If he stayed as Tingis Pingis and at cornerback, he probably would have been the ultimate burnt toast. His progress in the DSFL was not going so well so for all parties involved I think the name and position change was smart overall.
Leo like the rest of his brothers grew up under Master Splinters strict rules and teachings of martial arts. It wasn’t until he was much later in life that he really came to the crossroads of what he would do with his life. This of course is the same struggle most individuals face when it is time to go off to college. It was at this point during mediation that Leo found himself being distracted by the football practice/try outs that were happening close to the dorms. Leo took this as a sign and immediately began investing his time and energy into the sport of Football. It was a major moment defying that Master Splinter had planned for him and his brothers but it was important for Leo to become his own person as well. It was a very difficult time for Leo after he actually made the team to tell Splinter until he was pleasantly surprised that he fully supported him. At this moment he knew it was meant to be.
