Welcome to my Season 43 ISFL Fantasy Football Rankings! These rankings are my opinion and not financial advice. I am not a Fantasy professional. Please contact your nearest Fantasy advisor for more information.
The charts in each section highlight the rankings of each player last season at that specific position. I will then look at the top ranked players, make some notes, and rank some more players. Enjoy!
QB Rankings
1. Preston Beatz – Baltimore Hawks
The Baltimore quarterback, Preston Beatz, was by far the league leader in Season 42 QB fantasy points. With Beatz’s incredible WR duo of Rocky Moreaux (1400+ TPE) and Shane Turnbull (1100+ TPE) not even in regression yet, Beatz can be projected as the number one favorite quarterback in this upcoming Season 43 Draft.
2. Blaine Falco – New York Silverbacks
Falco finished in the top 3 QBs for fantasy points last season and could have another incredible season for the Silverbacks. Mandrews McHollywood and Matthew Mara are still elite wideouts in the New York locker room, along with rising star Sean Robinson. New York does have the dual running back threat of McTurtle and Touchback but I believe the air game will prevail for the Silverbacks this year, which bodes well for Falco fantasy owners.
3. Willier Miller – Sarasota Sailfish
Former League MVP and second in QB scoring for Season 42 Fantasy, Willier Miller is an elite quarterback. With Johnny Blaze Jr. on his side, there is a lot of upside for Miller to get the pass game going strong this year. Other notable targets include Rockbot Rockbo and tight end Lucius Salem. Miller has the potential to return to MVP form but top 3 QB is certainly in the picture.
4. Wolfie McDummy Jr – Colorado Yeti
After coming in fourth on last season’s QB fantasy totals, I have Wolfie McDummy Jr in the same spot. McDummy Jr is still in a great position to be one of the top performers quarterbacks in Season 43. With NCADV RAINN, Erwin Kemp, and Mister Hogmally, there are plenty of top receivers on this team to throw to. I can see Colorado relying on the pass game this season as running back Malik Brooks (600+ TPE) is still young and will be a top performer in a season or two. Lot of potential with McDummy Jr in this season.
5. Nova Montagne – Honolulu Hahalua
Yes, I know that Montagne performed below average last season compared to the other quarterbacks. And I know one of the Honolulu receiving weapons, Waluigi Gronkowski, retired. But hear me out. Nova is the top TPE QB in the league and has Octavio Perez (1200+ TPE) and Leek Mai-Heinous (1000+ TPE) still to throw to. Honolulu’s offense is getting better and Nova will benefit from the production even with Bean in the picture. Too long, didn’t read – Nova Yeet.
Additional QB Rankings
6. Queen Elizabeth II – Austin Copperheads
7. Donovan Winters III – Arizona Outlaws
8. Painted Penguin – Chicago Butchers
9. Creg Jerrith IV – Cape Town Crash
10. Roque Santa Cruz – Berlin Fire Salamanders
RB Rankings
Running backs are by far the highest scoring position in the league. Don’t do zero RB like I did last season! Will not end well.
1. Armor Queen – Berlin Fire Salamanders
In terms of being at the top of their game and having a fantastic position on a team, Armor Queen fits the bill to be the number one ranked running back. Queen finished first overall in total RB fantasy points last season and can absolutely do it again. The Ultimus runner-up, Berlin Fire Salamanders, are well known for their “Berlin Wall”, their stout defense. But Berlin should also be known for their incredible running back with Queen.
2. Leandre Diarra – Orange County Otters
Diarra was a top 10 running back last season even with Tyler One taking carries and putting up 92 points himself. Now with Tyler One switching to safety, Diarra has the backfield to their own and should be in line for an incredible number of carries. Expect a lot of production from this 1200+ TPE running back.
3. Frank Dux – Chicago Butchers
Another top performing running back in a great situation is Frank Dux. Frank is only competing with newly switched and called up running back, Jake Jefferson (400+ TPE). I expect Frank to continue to receive the bulk of the carries and continue putting up great numbers for fantasy owners.
4. Danny Nedelko – Arizona Outlaws
I would rank Danny Nedelko higher but the presence of Sherwin Blue Jr. (1200+ PTE) raises flags for concern if you’re a fantasy owner. Sure, last season Sherwin Blue Jr. wasn’t a threat to Danny Nedelko’s production but surely if you’re Arizona you find a way for a 1200+ TPE player to get involved right? Arizona’s strategy certainly works for them but as a fantasy player I would argue that Nedelko will see his production but beware if Blue Jr. becomes a vulture.
5. Bean Delphine – Honolulu Hahalua
Although Nova and company have a lot of upside for the passing game. Honolulu still likes to FEED BEAN. Bean is in the first year of regression but shouldn’t stop this 1100+ TPE running back from being fed and producing on the field. Bean fantasy owners are never disappointed.
Additional RB Rankings
6. Jarvis Harbinger-Marjin – Cape Town Crash
7. Kyle Crane – New Orleans Second Line
8. Pete Zuh – Sarasota Sailfish
9. Kumquat Archipelago – Baltimore Hawks
10. Adebayo Akinfenwa – Yellowknife Wraiths
WR Rankings
1. Rocky Moreaux – Baltimore Hawks
Rocky is in the last season before regression and couldn’t be in a better situation with number one ranked QB, Preston Beatz, throwing their way. If you can get a stack of Beatz and Moreaux for your QB1 and WR1, it’s a wrap. This is going to continue being a great duo for Baltimore this season and fantasy owners will feast.
2. Johnny Blaze Jr. – Sarasota Sailfish
Another wide receiver in a great situation is Johnny Blaze Jr who has Willier Miller as his quarterback. Blaze Jr’s biggest target competition is regressing tight end Lucius Salem. Expect a lot of Blaze Jr points this season just like the last.
3. Austin Morley – Chicago Butchers
Morley at 1000+ TPE has no close competition in the receiving room to get targets from Painted Penguin. The volume alone should land Morley atop the receiving leaderboard in Season 43.
4. NCADV RAINN – Colorado Yeti
I am expecting a decent jump in production from RAINN this year with Wolfie McDummy Jr as their QB. Both players should be a dynamic duo for Colorado for years to come, including Season 43.
5. Delores Bickerman – Austin Copperheads
With Beeblebrox in regression, the door has opened for Bickerman to become the number one receiving option for the Copperheads. Bickerman is at 1400+ TPE and should perform well with the help of QB Queen Elizabeth II.
Additional WR Rankings
6. Sconnie McSix – Berlin Fire Salamanders
7. Octavio Perez – Honolulu Hahalua
8. Mandrews McHollywood – New York Silverbacks (regression + sharing with Matthew Mara)
9. Shane Turnbull – Baltimore Hawks
10. Matthew Mara – New York Silverbacks
TE Rankings
1. Mister Hogmally – Colorado Yeti
Even in regression, Hogmally is a top target for Wolfie McDummy Jr and I would anticipate they will be the number one tight end in the league again. This pick is a set it and forget it if you have Hogmally.
2. American Boot – Cape Town Crash
Another top tight end target is American Boot for Cape Town Crash. Also in regression but I view Boot as a high quality player who will see good production.
3. Detective Crashmore – Yellowknife Wraiths
I would consider Crashmore as more of a 2B option than number 3 on this list. Also in a good situation, Crashmore has a great opportunity to put up a lot of points for Yellowknife.
4. Hank Mardukas – New Orleans Second Line
New Orleans has to throw it to somebody and with Pee Pee Poo Poo Eater retired, Hank is in a great position to put up great stats. If you don’t root for Hank to succeed, we can’t be friends.
5. Nick Williams – Berlin Fire Salamanders
Nick Williams is going to be a name that surprises a lot of people this season. Williams is in a good position with Berlin and is poised to put up some good stats.
Additional TE Rankings
6. Lucius Salem – Sarasota Sailfish
7. Kenny Szymborski – San Jose Sabercats
8. Walter McKinley – Orange County Otters
9. Bong Stevens – Colorado Yeti
10. Penger Tolliver - Austin Copperheads
OL Rankings
1. Bengal Tigerheart – Baltimore Hawks
Protecting Preston Beatz is an important job and Tigerheart has proven they are more than capable.
2. Walrus Jones – Orange County Otters
1200+ TPE and lack of pancake competition puts Walrus right back in the conversation as of one the league’s best O-linemen.
3. Remi Musgrave-Smythe – Colorado Yeti
Another top tier offensive lineman who has a lack of competition on the line. Colorado will rely on Wolfie McDummy Jr to make some plays and Remi will make sure that happens.
4. Swantavius Payne – Cape Town Crash
Swantavius is in regression but that won’t stop the amount of Payne he’ll put on the opposing defense. Payne is still in the discussion as a top 5 lineman and will serve fantasy owners well.
5. Fortified Fridge – Arizona Outlaws
With Arizona’s other lineman in regression, Fortified Fridge looks to captain the offensive line for the Outlaws and see increased production.
Additional OL Rankings
6. Brandon Mason – Austin Copperheads
7. J.T. Kurbis – Yellowknife Wraiths
8. Raya Ho’opa’i – Honolulu Hahalua
9. Jimmy Holding – Austin Copperheads
10. Yummy HotDogPie – Baltimore Hawks
K Rankings
Kickers past the top four are kind of a crapshoot. Even though King is in regression, I still expect Sarasota to continue putting up a lot of points. Which means good production for King. On the flip side, Known Acquaintance is a good kicker but Berlin doesn’t score too much as they rely more so on their defense which is why I have Acquaintance at number 10.
1. Swantavius King – Sarasota Sailfish
2. Booter McGavin – San Jose Sabercats
3. Jayme Jayne Jay-Jaymison – Arizona Outlaws
4. Ray Baker – Honolulu Hahalua
5. Orlando Doom – Colorado Yeti
6. Bob Kickerson – Cape Town Crash
7. David Doug – Chicago Butchers
8. Wing Wang – New York Silverbacks
9. Charlie Brown – Austin Copperheads
10. Known Acquaintance – Berlin Fire Salamanders
DE/DT Rankings
1. Joseph Reed – Chicago Butchers
Although Big Joe Reed is now in regression, he is still the top dog on that Chicago defensive line. Reed was by far the best defensive lineman in the league last season and could do it again. If you ever want to build a defensive tackle, just copy Joseph Reed.
2. Carly Rae Jensen – Austin Copperheads
Jensen’s biggest competition for stats on the Austin D-line is now in regression making CRJ the highest TPE player on the line. Jensen performed as the number two defensive lineman in the league last year even with incredible talent on the Austin D-line. I fully expect Jensen to produce again.
The above players, in my opinion, are in a defensive line league of their own. The following players are ranked based on their TPE, previous performance, and preferable situation on their team.
3. Bridge Burner – Honolulu Hahalua
4. GOAT TANNK – Berlin Fire Salamanders
5. Mo Gago – Yellowknife Wraiths
6. MC Hammer – Baltimore Hawks
7. Savathun T. Witchqueen – Colorado Yeti
8. Clint Mustache – Berlin Fire Salamanders
9. Fat Jack – New York Silverbacks
10. Liv Elsathelookout – Honolulu Hahalua
LB Rankings
Linebackers were probably the hardest to rank because of the internal competition they have and even lower TPE linebackers can still produce quite a bit. The following are top TPE linebackers who are in good team situations that would be good picks for a draft.
1. Cruella de Ville – San Jose Sabercats
2. Sim Sunigh – Orange County Otters
3. Tank McGibbons – Austin Copperheads
4. Waylen Greene – Colorado Yeti
5. Bay Webb – New York Silverbacks
6. Jordan Hartline – Berlin Fire Salamanders
7. Akaki Akayre – Arizona Outlaws
8. Teemo Swift – New York Silverbacks
9. Maxwell Jacob Friedman – Honolulu Hahalua
10. Sledge Hammer – Baltimore Hawks
CB/FS/SS Rankings
This category encompasses corners and safeties but the corners typically score much higher. The following list are corners who are high earners and in a good team position to perform.
1. Charlie Thorsen – Berlin Fire Salamanders
2. Harley Andrews – Sarasota Sailfish
3. Jake Williams – Baltimore Hawks
4. Quendyn Quarterstorm – Honolulu Hahalua
5. Zamir Kehla Jr – Austin Copperheads
6. Bonzi Buddy – New York Silverbacks
7. Brooks Piggott – San Jose Sabercats
8. Charles Chapman – Baltimore Hawks
9. Spottie O’Dopaliscious – Arizona Outlaws
10. Jamdrian LeBayers – Orange County Otters
