Rolling fields of wheat and your Uncle Rico telling you he can throw a pigskin a quarter mile while he films himself in front of his van. Nothing says football more than those two things. That is why I am proposing a bid to bring the Ultimus Bowl to the great city of Saskatoon.
Saskatoon is world famous for everyone’s favorite jelly, made from the delicious Saskatoon berries. Is it a cherry? A blueberry? A figment of our imagination? Who knows, what we do know is Saksatoon Jelly is delicious and is the first reason that Saskatoon should host the Ultimus.
Saskatoon boasts an impressive population of over 350,000 people (who that’s a lot of people), making it the 17th largest Metro area in Canada. For you math nerds out there, thats about 17.5 times larger than a city that houses one of the most successful ISFL teams, Yellowknife. Think of all the money that the Wraiths could bring in if they helped host in the city like Saskatoon.
Saskatoon is also home to the imaginative and spacious Mosaic Stadium. The perfect venue for a game out on the prairie. The ISFL could continue its long tradition of football in Canada by hosting a championship game here.
My logo for the Ultimus Bowl is one that locals of Saskatoon would be proud to see plastered around not only their town but the entire world. First, the back drop of wheat. Much like the surrounding area and main export of the city. Then Saskatoon and the Ultimus Bowl in the green and yellow colors that are proud boasted on the cities flags. Third, extending like a symbolic olive branch of peace, branches of Saskatoon Berries holding a football like a precious newborn babe.
I would like to thank @TubbyTim69 and @Bunny for their input when making this logo. Without their help I wouldn’t have been able to do this.
