Congratulations, by clicking on this media article you have shown your interest in becoming a max earning in the International Simulated Football League. First, let’s put a definition to the term ‘Max Earner’. Webster dictionary defines a ‘Max Earner’, as a user who does all possible point tasks and activities on the site to maximize their TPE, Training Points Earned, over the length of their career. Some tasks are pretty straight forward, post in the Activity Check every week or buy Weekly Training in the bank. Some require a bit more effort, such as the Weekly Point Tasks which require a 150 word comment or a google form which you must fill in. Then we reach the activities which separate the max earners from the max earners, the corn from the husk, the ‘men’ from the ‘boys’. Prediction tasks. The weekly game predictions, the seasonal/play off predictions and the first rounder point task. To be a max earner one must learn one of the following abilities, time travel, prognostication, having Lady Luck’s blessing or the ability to access game scores before preds close for the day.
Assume you do not have any of the above abilities and/or you are on the lawful side of the alignment chart. Being a max earner is simply not an achievable position to be in. We’ve all seen prediction weeks where everyone has scored a 1.5 at best or a team who against everyone expectations either has a great season or a horrible one. Sometimes a player who everyone was certain would be picked in the first round drops and another player no one expected gets selected instead.
But what if it did not have to be this way? What if you actually just always knew who would win that team? Where each team would finish and exactly which players would be picked in every first round. Join me as we do some fun ~maths~ to figure out how much TPE a max earner could earn if a max TPE earner could earn max.
Let’s start by laying out the groundwork. How much TPE are you guaranteed in a season, granted that you complete the requirements for each task?
Guaranteed TPE
Activity Check - Worth 2 TPE - 8 times a season - 2 x 8 = 16 TPE
Tier 2 Weekly Training - Worth 5 TPE - 8 times a season - 5 x 8 = 40 TPE
Tier 6 Equipment - Worth 30 TPE - 1 time a season - 1 x 30 = 30 TPE
Point Task - Worth 3 TPE - 5 times a season - 3 x 5 = 15 TPE
Host City Voting - Worth 1 TPE - 1 time a season - 1 x 1 = 1 TPE
Offseason Task - Worth 10 TPE - 1 time a season - 1 x 10 = 10 TPE
MOP Award Voting - Worth 1 TPE - 1 time a season - 1 x 1 = 1 TPE
Total: 16 + 40 + 30 + 15 + 1 + 10 + 1 = 113 TPE
That is a very decent start TPE wise. Add on your base 50 TPE and that means that before regression you’ve already earned 954 TPE just from guaranteed TPE. This is ignoring any TPE you might earn if you join between the Trade Deadline and the Ultimus final.
Let’s move on to the unguaranteed TPE. All this TPE is based on predictions, meaning that you in theory could earn anywhere between 0 and the max amount that you could potentially get. As noted this is a media piece about being the absolute max earner so for these calculations we are going to base it on getting the perfect score on every prediction.
TPE based on predictions - Unguaranteed TPE
Weekly Predictions - Worth 4 TPE max - 16 times a season - 4 x 16 = 64 TPE
Season Predictions - Worth 4 TPE + 1 TPE per correct pick (14 teams) - 1 time a season - 1 x 18 = 18 TPE
Playoff Predictions - Worth 1 TPE per correct pick (5 games) - 1 time a season - 1 x 5 = 5 TPE
First Rounders - Worth 2.5 TPE + 0.5 TPE per correct pick (14 players) - 1 time a season - 1 x 10 = 10 TPE
Fantasy Draft - Worth 5 TPE as group winner - 1 time a season - 1 x 5 = 5 TPE
Total: 64 + 18 + 5 + 10 + 5 = 103 TPE
With 103 TPE earnable from predictions you could earn an additional 824 TPE before regression. Let’s add that on top of our previous total. Given us a total of 954 + 824 = 1778 TPE, again just based on 8 full seasons and your base TPE. As of writing this article I believe the highest TPE ever earned by a player was 1650 TPE by @Yeenoghu’s Swantavius King. So earning all guaranteed and unguaranteed TPE possible would put you 128 TPE above the current TPE leader… but what if I told you we are not done yet?
Introducing… Variable/Non Regular TPE
So variable TPE is interesting as they are based on variables. The only variable TPE in the league is the TPE you earn from the Training Camp. The way Training Camp works is that the TPE you earn is based on your players ISFL draft season (The season you see denoted in your player page title e.g. “S36 - Octavio Pérez- WR”) The TPE earner from the Training Camp follows this pattern: 10 TPE in your DSFL draft year season, 15 TPE in your ISFL draft year season, 10 TPE in your 2nd year, 5 TPE in your 3rd, 4th and 5th year and 3 TPE for all seasons after.
Now for Non Regular TPE:
You will be able to create your player wiki in your DSFL Draft year, via the ‘Special PT - Create your Player Wiki Page’ point task. This is a one-time PT you can do that will net you 10 TPE. Then starting in your ISFL draft season you can do the Wiki update task, which is a task which requires you to write a summary for the previous season + update your stat table. This point task will net you 5 TPE on completion.
Finally, that leaves one final task that can give you TPE. This task actually makes it optimal for TPE earning to be someone you can only be once in your time on this site. A first-gen user. First-gen users are as the name implies a the first generation, your first player, you are a brand new user to this site and you will be creating your very first player. As a new user you have access to the ‘Rookie Point Tasks’. These are a set of Point Tasks created to teach you the ways of the league. How to do your first activity check/bank purchase, your first Point Task, how media works.
For completing all ‘Rookie Point Tasks’ you can earn yourself a whopping 18 TPE. A privilege only available to those first time users. So the strategy to being the absolute maxest of max earners is to be a first-gen user and to instantly get the hang of the site and just perfectly predict everything there is.
Training camp - Worth variable TPE - 1 time a season
Wiki Creation Task - Worth 1- TPE - 1 time per career - 1 x 10 = 10 TPE
Wiki Update Task - Worth 5 TPE - 1 a season - 1 x 5 = 5 TPE
Rookie Point Task - Worth 18 TPE total - 1 time a career *first gens only - 1 x 18 TPE
So the maths is a little awkward so, so let’s base this again on the first 8 season of your career between your DSFL draft and the season before your first regression.
Training camp x 8 seasons = 10 + 15 + 10 + 5 + 5 + 5 + 3 + 3 = 56 TPE
Wiki creation task = 10 TPE
Wiki Update Task x 7 season = 7 x 5 = 35 TPE
Rookie Point Task = 18 TPE
Which will give you another 119 TPE over your entire career. 1778 + 119 = 1897 TPE. Now you’ve earned 247 TPE more than the previous highest TPE earning player. Which means that you have essentially earned an additional season of TPE. Which I can prove with maths. 1897 - 50 base TPE = 1847 / 8 seasons = 230.875 TPE per season earned. Round that up to 231 and you will be very close to the amount you have earned more than Swantavius King.
This is not even considering the fact that you could have been earning TPE as a post trade deadline create. Which could see you earn I believe another 45 TPE. Easily putting you over the 1900 TPE threshold.
As a matter of fact, to finish this article off why don’t we recreate what a player career would look like if you literally max earned the entire way. Every smidgen of TPE available in a career. This will look similar to a previous article I did called ‘How much can a max earner earn?’ back in 2021 which you can find here https://forums.sim-football.com/showthre...?tid=35082. I believe this will be a bit different as I already spotted a mathematical error and I wonder if in two years earning has changed.
—------------------------------
Ground work:
New user Max The Psychic has joined the site moments after the S44 Week 10 DSFL games, which indicates the DSFL trade deadline has passed and all new players will be allocated to the S46 ISFL class and can now start earning TPE.
As a player created between the DSFL trade deadline and post Ultimus season change there are a few restrictions. Max will not be able to buy equipment for the S44 season and cannot do the S44 Training Camp. He is free to start doing all other activities.
The DSFL Trade Deadline falls in the 6th week of the season and as such Max can do all activities in that week. Such as the Activity Check, Weekly Training and any PT/Predictions which are still open. At the time of the DSFL Trade Deadline this will be PT #4 and the Week 13 ISFL game predictions. As Max cannot earn TPE for the Wiki Creation Task in S45 I will delay him completing the Wiki Creation PT until S45 and not right away in S44.
The TPE we earn in a season will be based on the above table, which shows in which week TPE will be available.
TPE earning in Season 44 - Waiver Pick up season (Season -1):
3 x Activity Check = 6 TPE (3 x 2)
3 x Tier 2 Weekly Training = 15 TPE (3 x 5)
Week 13 - 16 Predictions = 16 TPE (4 x 4)
Point Task #4 & #5 = 6 TPE (2 x 3)
Playoff Predictions = 5 TPE
Rookie Point Task = 18 TPE
Total = 66 TPE
Starting TPE Point: 50
TPE = 50 + 66 = 116
By the time the Ultimus comes around Max already has 116 TPE to his name. That Rookie Point Task really coming in clutch to push him over that 100 TPE threshold.
TPE earning Season 45 - DSFL Draft Season (Season 0):
8 x Activity Check = 16 TPE (8 x 2)
8 x Tier 2 Weekly Training = 40 TPE (8 x 5)
16 x Weekly Prediction = 64 TPE (16 x 4)
5 x Weekly Point Task = 15 TPE (5 x 3)
1 x First Rounders = 10 TPE (2.5 + 7)
1 x Season Predictions = 18 TPE (4 + 14)
1 x Playoffs Predictions = 5 TPE (1 x 5)
1 x Training Camp = 10 TPE
1 x Host City Voting = 1 TPE
1 x MOP Voting = 1 TPE
1 x Tier 6 Equipment = 30 TPE
1 x Wiki Creation Task = 10 TPE
1 x Offseason Task = 10 TPE
1 x Fantasy Group Winner = 5 TPE
Total = 235 TPE
TPE = 116 + 235 = 351
Pretty good gains right there, when earning at this rate you will become DSFL maxed out somewhere halfway through your first season. Meaning you get to play the second half of the season at the highest level you can ever be at the DSFL level.
TPE earning Season 45 - ISFL Draft Season (Season 1):
8 x Activity Check = 16 TPE (8 x 2)
8 x Tier 2 Weekly Training = 40 TPE (8 x 5)
16 x Weekly Prediction = 64 TPE (16 x 4)
5 x Weekly Point Task = 15 TPE (5 x 3)
1 x First Rounders = 10 TPE (2.5 + 7)
1 x Season Predictions = 18 TPE (4 + 14)
1 x Playoffs Predictions = 5 TPE (1 x 5)
1 x Training Camp = 15 TPE
1 x Host City Voting = 1 TPE
1 x MOP Voting = 1 TPE
1 x Tier 6 Equipment = 30 TPE
1 x Wiki Update Task = 5 TPE
1 x Offseason Task = 10 TPE
1 x Fantasy Group Winner = 5 TPE
Total = 235 TPE
TPE = 351 + 235 = 586
Max has just completed his first season in the ISFL and at 586 TPE at the end of the season he is already starting to breath down the neck of the class before him. Having overtaken the lower earners and on the heels of the high earners in the next class.
At this point he has likely already put 100 TPE between him and the second highest earner of his class.
TPE earning Season 46 (Season 2):
8 x Activity Check = 16 TPE (8 x 2)
8 x Tier 2 Weekly Training = 40 TPE (8 x 5)
16 x Weekly Prediction = 64 TPE (16 x 4)
5 x Weekly Point Task = 15 TPE (5 x 3)
1 x First Rounders = 10 TPE (2.5 + 7)
1 x Season Predictions = 18 TPE (4 + 14)
1 x Playoffs Predictions = 5 TPE (1 x 5)
1 x Training Camp = 10 TPE
1 x Host City Voting = 1 TPE
1 x MOP Voting = 1 TPE
1 x Tier 6 Equipment = 30 TPE
1 x Wiki Update Task = 5 TPE
1 x Offseason Task = 10 TPE
1 x Fantasy Group Winner = 5 TPE
Total = 230 TPE
TPE = 586 + 230 = 816
Having completely overtaken the class before him, Max is in a league of his own. From this point forward it’s just a game to see how quickly he gets to the point of overtaking the highest ever TPE player.
TPE earning Season 47 (Season 3):
8 x Activity Check = 16 TPE (8 x 2)
8 x Tier 2 Weekly Training = 40 TPE (8 x 5)
16 x Weekly Prediction = 64 TPE (16 x 4)
5 x Weekly Point Task = 15 TPE (5 x 3)
1 x First Rounders = 10 TPE (2.5 + 7)
1 x Season Predictions = 18 TPE (4 + 14)
1 x Playoffs Predictions = 5 TPE (1 x 5)
1 x Training Camp = 5 TPE
1 x Host City Voting = 1 TPE
1 x MOP Voting = 1 TPE
1 x Tier 6 Equipment = 30 TPE
1 x Wiki Update Task = 5 TPE
1 x Offseason Task = 10 TPE
1 x Fantasy Group Winner = 5 TPE
Total = 225 TPE
TPE = 816 + 225 = 1041
TPE earning Season 48 (Season 4):
8 x Activity Check = 16 TPE (8 x 2)
8 x Tier 2 Weekly Training = 40 TPE (8 x 5)
16 x Weekly Prediction = 64 TPE (16 x 4)
5 x Weekly Point Task = 15 TPE (5 x 3)
1 x First Rounders = 10 TPE (2.5 + 7)
1 x Season Predictions = 18 TPE (4 + 14)
1 x Playoffs Predictions = 5 TPE (1 x 5)
1 x Training Camp = 5 TPE
1 x Host City Voting = 1 TPE
1 x MOP Voting = 1 TPE
1 x Tier 6 Equipment = 30 TPE
1 x Wiki Update Task = 5 TPE
1 x Offseason Task = 10 TPE
1 x Fantasy Group Winner = 5 TPE
Total = 225 TPE
TPE = 1041 + 225 = 1266
TPE earning Season 49 (Season 5):
8 x Activity Check = 16 TPE (8 x 2)
8 x Tier 2 Weekly Training = 40 TPE (8 x 5)
16 x Weekly Prediction = 64 TPE (16 x 4)
5 x Weekly Point Task = 15 TPE (5 x 3)
1 x First Rounders = 10 TPE (2.5 + 7)
1 x Season Predictions = 18 TPE (4 + 14)
1 x Playoffs Predictions = 5 TPE (1 x 5)
1 x Training Camp = 5 TPE
1 x Host City Voting = 1 TPE
1 x MOP Voting = 1 TPE
1 x Tier 6 Equipment = 30 TPE
1 x Wiki Update Task = 5 TPE
1 x Offseason Task = 10 TPE
1 x Fantasy Group Winner = 5 TPE
Total = 225 TPE
TPE = 1266 + 225 = 1491
TPE earning Season 50 (Season 6):
8 x Activity Check = 16 TPE (8 x 2)
8 x Tier 2 Weekly Training = 40 TPE (8 x 5)
16 x Weekly Prediction = 64 TPE (16 x 4)
5 x Weekly Point Task = 15 TPE (5 x 3)
1 x First Rounders = 10 TPE (2.5 + 7)
1 x Season Predictions = 18 TPE (4 + 14)
1 x Playoffs Predictions = 5 TPE (1 x 5)
1 x Training Camp = 3 TPE
1 x Host City Voting = 1 TPE
1 x MOP Voting = 1 TPE
1 x Tier 6 Equipment = 30 TPE
1 x Wiki Update Task = 5 TPE
1 x Offseason Task = 10 TPE
1 x Fantasy Group Winner = 5 TPE
Total = 223 TPE
TPE = 1491 + 223 = 1714
Finishing his 6th season after being drafted to the ISFL with 1714 TPE, Max has now officially overtaken the 1650 TPE Swantavius King reached. Going off my TPE schedule this happened just into Week 7. At this point Max still has another full season of earning before regression starts to kick in.
TPE earning Season 51 (Season 7):
8 x Activity Check = 16 TPE (8 x 2)
8 x Tier 2 Weekly Training = 40 TPE (8 x 5)
16 x Weekly Prediction = 64 TPE (16 x 4)
5 x Weekly Point Task = 15 TPE (5 x 3)
1 x First Rounders = 10 TPE (2.5 + 7)
1 x Season Predictions = 18 TPE (4 + 14)
1 x Playoffs Predictions = 5 TPE (1 x 5)
1 x Training Camp = 3 TPE
1 x Host City Voting = 1 TPE
1x MOP Voting = 1 TPE
1 x Tier 6 Equipment = 30 TPE
1 x Wiki Update Task = 5 TPE
1 x Offseason Task = 10 TPE
1 x Fantasy Group Winner = 5 TPE
Total = 223 TPE
TPE = 1714 + 223 = 1937
And there we have it. The final season Max will play before regression. Finishing at an absolutely staggering 1937 TPE. To finish this article off we will also be looking at regression and just showing how the last few % of regression will absolutely annihilate anyone, no matter the rate you earn at.
TPE earning Season 52 (Season 8 / First regression):

1 x Wiki Update Task = 5 TPE
1 x Offseason Task = 10 TPE
1 x Fantasy Group Winner = 5 TPE
Total = 223 TPE
TPE = 1087 + 223 = 1310
TPE earning Season 55 (Season 11 / Fourth regression):

1310 * 0.60 = 786 (524 TPE regressed)
8 x Activity Check = 16 TPE (8 x 2)
8 x Tier 2 Weekly Training = 40 TPE (8 x 5)
16 x Weekly Prediction = 64 TPE (16 x 4)

Total = 223 TPE
TPE = 786 + 223 = 1009
TPE earning Season 56 (Season 12 / Fifth regression):

1 x Offseason Task = 10 TPE
1 x Fantasy Group Winner = 5 TPE
Total = 223 TPE
TPE = 292 + 223 = 515
This is the end of Max’s career. Even with all his max earning, he cannot survive another round of regression. Mostly because under the current rules no player may go past 13 seasons. However even based on old rules, I believe the 7th regression was a 75% regression. Which doing the math would be: 515 * 0.25 = 129 TPE. Any player who regresses below a total of 150 TPE is auto retired. So no matter how well you earn 7th regression means death either way.
Of course this is all just a fun thought experiment, no user will ever reach these heights in TPE. Maybe someone has one fantastic season prediction wise, but to do that constantly throughout 8 seasons (until regression) or just the full 14 seasons would be impossible.
A fun experiment someone with more coding knowledge could do is see which user had the highest TPE earning season ever. Just to see how close they got to the max amount of TPE available in that season.
Total = 66 TPE
Starting TPE Point: 50
TPE = 50 + 66 = 116
By the time the Ultimus comes around Max already has 116 TPE to his name. That Rookie Point Task really coming in clutch to push him over that 100 TPE threshold.
TPE earning Season 45 - DSFL Draft Season (Season 0):
8 x Activity Check = 16 TPE (8 x 2)
8 x Tier 2 Weekly Training = 40 TPE (8 x 5)
16 x Weekly Prediction = 64 TPE (16 x 4)
5 x Weekly Point Task = 15 TPE (5 x 3)
1 x First Rounders = 10 TPE (2.5 + 7)
1 x Season Predictions = 18 TPE (4 + 14)
1 x Playoffs Predictions = 5 TPE (1 x 5)
1 x Training Camp = 10 TPE
1 x Host City Voting = 1 TPE
1 x MOP Voting = 1 TPE
1 x Tier 6 Equipment = 30 TPE
1 x Wiki Creation Task = 10 TPE
1 x Offseason Task = 10 TPE
1 x Fantasy Group Winner = 5 TPE
Total = 235 TPE
TPE = 116 + 235 = 351
Total = 235 TPE
TPE = 351 + 235 = 586
Total = 230 TPE
TPE = 586 + 230 = 816

1 x Tier 6 Equipment = 30 TPE
1 x Wiki Update Task = 5 TPE
1 x Offseason Task = 10 TPE
1 x Fantasy Group Winner = 5 TPE
Total = 225 TPE
TPE = 816 + 225 = 1041

1 x Tier 6 Equipment = 30 TPE
1 x Wiki Update Task = 5 TPE
1 x Offseason Task = 10 TPE
1 x Fantasy Group Winner = 5 TPE
Total = 225 TPE
TPE = 1041 + 225 = 1266

1 x Host City Voting = 1 TPE
1 x MOP Voting = 1 TPE
1 x Tier 6 Equipment = 30 TPE
1 x Wiki Update Task = 5 TPE
1 x Offseason Task = 10 TPE
1 x Fantasy Group Winner = 5 TPE
Total = 223 TPE
TPE = 1491 + 223 = 1714
Finishing his 6th season after being drafted to the ISFL with 1714 TPE, Max has now officially overtaken the 1650 TPE Swantavius King reached. Going off my TPE schedule this happened just into Week 7. At this point Max still has another full season of earning before regression starts to kick in.
TPE earning Season 51 (Season 7):
8 x Activity Check = 16 TPE (8 x 2)
8 x Tier 2 Weekly Training = 40 TPE (8 x 5)
16 x Weekly Prediction = 64 TPE (16 x 4)
5 x Weekly Point Task = 15 TPE (5 x 3)
1 x First Rounders = 10 TPE (2.5 + 7)
1 x Season Predictions = 18 TPE (4 + 14)
1 x Playoffs Predictions = 5 TPE (1 x 5)
1 x Training Camp = 3 TPE
1 x Host City Voting = 1 TPE
1x MOP Voting = 1 TPE
1 x Tier 6 Equipment = 30 TPE
1 x Wiki Update Task = 5 TPE
1 x Offseason Task = 10 TPE
1 x Fantasy Group Winner = 5 TPE
Total = 223 TPE
TPE = 1714 + 223 = 1937
And there we have it. The final season Max will play before regression. Finishing at an absolutely staggering 1937 TPE. To finish this article off we will also be looking at regression and just showing how the last few % of regression will absolutely annihilate anyone, no matter the rate you earn at.

TPE = 292 + 223 = 515
