My most memorable moment is definitely the Ultimus win. I was lucky enough to be drafted to a contender and won the chip in my first ISFL season. It's even more memorable because I got a pick 6 to really put the game away. (We would have won regardless...but still) I unfortunately missed the live stream because of a hospital appointment but it was still a special moment. Another special memory is the ISFL draft. I was a consistent-but-not-super-high earner and I was surprised to see myself get drafted that high(Round 3 Pick 35). Arizona, along with San Jose and Hahalua were the teams I wanted to go to-mostly because the pre draft interviews were great-and I was really happy AZ drafted me. There really was something special about waiting to hear your name called on draft night. There are also some memorable conversations, like that time I showed Twenty6(who's colorblind) a fake colorblind test and made him guess what it said. Overall, the ISFL has been a pretty dope experience.

I first joined the ISFL in 2020 during S21. Back then it was called the NSFL, as it had been for the previous three years since its formation. Of course, it was no secret that the league’s leadership was aware of the hilarious acronym and wanted to make a change. I never actually got to play in the “NSFL” as I was in the DSFL until S24. I’m not sure if the rest of the league was aware that a name change was coming. We kinda liked the name at the time. Sure, it was an unfortunate acronym but “National Simulation Football League” was an appropriate enough name.
Just before S24 was underway, the head office had announced new branding for the league. The International Simultion Football League, or ISFL was born. At the time, the only international team was the Tellowknife Wraiths, which was still in North America. The other international team, the London Royals, were in London. With the addition of the Berlin Fire Salamanders just a few seasons later, the name was more appropriate for the league. I wonder if in the coming seasons, new expansion teams or relocating teams will make more parts of the world home. It was fun while the NSFL lasted! It was better than calling it the National Simulation Football World!
I've been part of the league for 24 seasons now. Jesus. The good memories are almost to many to count. Arizona have won a bunch of championships and the most games in that time span, so that's cool.
I think my favourite memory would be getting put into the GM Hall of Fame, then writing the media that influenced the voters enough to get the other half of my GM pairing in the Hall with me. It was nice to do that for a friend, but also to know that the people who vote for the Hall of Fame could be open to listening to arguments. The aim was to take the team that everyone hated for toxicity and turn them into the team that everyone hated for winning a lot, and I can look back at that now and say, quite confidently, that was a job well done. Looking back at the Discord DMs I used to have with Z brings back great memories.
My time in this league has been limited, as I only have 3 DSFL seasons and 1 ISFL season. But even so, I think I have a couple highlights. A few are the ones every player goes through, getting drafted by a DSFL team, getting drafted by a ISFL team and then getting called up to the ISFL. It was very cool to see myself drafted into the DSFL as a second round pick to the Pythons as they really helped introduce me into the ISFL. It was fun just to learn the rules and get integrated into the league. But my best moment in this league has to be being a part of the Pythons Ultimus run. I had seen varying success in my first 2 years (7-7, 4-10) and it was great for new players and the original team to collaborate into an Ultimus win. It was a joy to be in lockeroom after the game and it was great to help break Portland's ultimus drought, 100% my by best ISFL moment.
SAVE THE WIKI!
I have been in this league for quite some time now and have naturally created a ton of memories on the time that’s passed since creating my first player in the S24 class. My favorite memories will probably be a bit cliche though as I imagine many others will go this route, but for me the moments that stick out the most to me are my first championship in the DSFL and ISFL. Though they were my first championships in each league as a player, they were particularly special for everyone else involved because both were the first championship in franchise history for both the London Royals and Sarasota Sailfish. What a great group of people that both of those teams were. Being a part of those historical moments for both teams will be tough to top in this league and they happened so early in my career. I consider myself pretty lucky to have been able to be a part of those events.

Some of my favorite memories in the league were when I was drafted in the DSFL draft with my first player. Although I was picked lower than I thought, I recognized that it would allow me to have a chip on my shoulder and push all other teams to try and draft me higher in the ISFL draft. As the draft was progressing, NOLA was about to announce their pick and when I was selected at the 13th pick, I was beyond excited and happy with who chose me. @mithrandir and @GuitarMaster116 were awesome GM's for me and I can't thank them enough for selecting me with that pick. I honestly miss those times where I wasn't as involved as I am now. That excitement isn't there like it was as I now know the results of games as part of the sim team as well as being a GM to knowing where the prospects are going for each team. It's just different now. But I'm thankful that NOLA gave me that first feeling when I first joined the league
