For all who shall see these presents, know ye the reposing special trust in the fidelity and abilities of I, the Golden Hawk, do appoint those who read this story to know it to be true and the facts above reproach.
For those who are unaware, the Baltimore Hawks have a special temple with which they offer prayer to the mighty Golden Hawk. If the Golden Hawk deems your offering worthy, you are bestowed with a blessing from the might Golden Hawk, and may now claim yourself to be a Golden Hawk, at least until the next blessing is given to another.
For those reading this and kind of scratching your head, confused with what it is exactly that is being talked about, as this sounds like a fictitious tale. The temple resides in the Baltimore Hawks locker room, and I believe all who are apart of the locker room, regardless of status on the team, may make offerings in this temple. The Golden Hawk discriminates against none who offer a chance at a blessing, yet against all who do so in a veiled attempt to gain status.
I am the current Blessed Golden Hawk in Baltimore, and I do not take this responsibility lightly. Heavy is the head that wears the crown. The burden of such a blessing made it difficult to focus on my other responsibilities in life. And it was with this that I knew I needed to steal the Golden Hawk and allow myself to not worry about it being snagged from me. I hacked the main frame and shut the whole sheet and kaboodle down. The Golden Hawk stopped responding and it was I, who had received it’s last blessing. Finally, I could focus on my duties of being the Golden Hawk and not have to worry about someone coming along and trying to steal my title. I could work without the fear of reprisal from those who wanted the crown from my head.
I have worked tirelessly, doing the great deeds of the Golden Hawk without a chance of someone stealing my blessing since November 5th.
Yesterday, at 2:27 AM EST I was put on notice. The mainframe was put back online. Dude_Man had used his admin powers to return the blessing machine back online. My days as the Golden Hawk are numbered. While some believe this to be an incredible overreach of his GM powers in Baltimore, some have revered his actions. I know they are criminal, but the system is broken beyond what I am able to repair.
It is with a heavy heart, and a tired neck (from the crown, remember?) that I lay down, remembering what I was able to accomplish when the blessing was mine, and mine alone. Now the greedy and heartless are coming for the throne. I know I cannot sit upon it forever, but it's been a hell of a ride.
Perhaps my last act as the Golden Hawk of the Baltimore Hawks is to remind you all, treat others as you want to be treated. And if you are ever given a special title in a discord server/locker room, hack the main frame, bring them all to their knees, and watch the world burn golden. Golden Hawk out. *mic drop*
