2.13: This season has been one for the ages. The guy I'd like to tale about is JJ. Now, as a proud member of the Norfolk Seawolves locker room, I can tell you that this guy has been amazing since the first day he got here. He quickly took our locker room by storm right away when we picked him up on the waiver wire, and he was someone who very quickly took our league. He is a master-class guy to have in the locker room and he brings a lot of much-needed hype that a lot of people do not seem to have. As a player, this guy has been incredible on the field for us. In just his rookie year he had well over one thousand yards and well over twelve touchdowns. While I think that there is a lot of talent in the DSFL, he put his arm in the race for an MVP, and/or Rookie of the year. Now, even if he doesn't win any awards, you can bet your bottom dollar that he will in the future. Not only in the DSFL but in the ISFL as well. He is a well-known talent and a handful in practice. Although I'm not the guy covering him, he talks a lot of smack to us on the D-Line to try and get us to play better, we had a rough year on the D but he was someone who always was looking to find ways for us to improve and be better as a whole unit. If we can keep this squad together, and add in some rookies I know for sure that this team will be unstoppable with JJ at the helm, and I have zero doubts whatsoever that he could cement his DSFL legacy as a MVP and possibly even more. He is a one-of-a-kind talent.
2.16: I will continue to repeat my opening statement because it is very important. This season has been one for the ages. I had a rough year, I wasn't the Xfactor that I had set out to be for this squad, and I think that hurt us. Defensively I only had 20-something tackles and about 3 sacks. Nothing from my game yelled, "This guy is a difference maker". I think I owe it to my team to get a really good year out of me and because of that, I'm praying I won't let them down with a callup right away. Don't get me wrong, I will do anything my ISFL team tells me to do but at the end of the day, I was a bust this season for someone that was taken in the second round compared to someone like JJ who has been a difference maker. I think the best quality I have is being a difference-maker in the locker room. I'm able to help guys out who need it and cheer people up who need it, I feel like I have a huge impact on everyone around me. Now next season I'd like to think things are going to be looking up, we'll have guys hopefully staying down (including me?) and hopefully a good quality draft class that we all can look forward to. This team might have only had five wins on the season but this is not the last you all will see of the Norfolk Seawolves, because we are going to rise once again. Bigger, better, faster, stronger, and more tpe to spread around to everyone. We have so much to give, I have so much to give, and I can say for certain that I am looking forward to this season coming up because it is going to be a good one.
