It's been literal years since I've had to write a PT response, so it feels fitting that the very first one back I'm doing is one that allows me to take a walk down memory lane.
The r/NFL recruitment post for Season 24's DSFL draft class went live somewhere around July 24th, 2020. I've been here for just a shade under four real life years. When I say that out loud it sounds made up. So much has happened in my life since joining this place - something that @Cody and I just did on a whim. I still remember our conversations after seeing the post on reddit. "This could be kind of fun. Should we give it a shot?" I never in my wildest dreams expected to not only still be around four years later but also to have this place become so much of my life. There really are so many great memories I can recount and so many people I can tag. The one that will always stand out in my mind, however, is the Season 25 Ultimini. I remember the stream broke for a lot of people, and the only Luchadores that could get it to work were me and @CalvinGolladay . I remember being so excited watching us win but knowing I had to keep a lid on it until the stream was back up and running. Getting to watch it a second time with my teammates already knowing the outcome was so much fun. Big shoutout to everyone in Tijuana who was active back in those days - you all got me invested in this place and are such a big reason I'm still around. Man I have a ton of great memories from my time in the ISFL. I started my career in S22 a bit bewildered and overwhelmed. My first ISFL draft card had a whole 91 TPE on it! I would say what got me interested in the league, and kept me, were the Dallas and Yellowknife locker rooms. Without getting really involved in those places I likely would have flamed out, never to be seen again. I made a ton of great friendships, people I still talk to and hang out with online even now, whether we share a team anymore or not. As a player, my favorite memories would be the Yellowknife Ultimus run in S39. Just complete and utter domination by the Wraiths on both sides of the ball. As the GM, seeing all the hard work that had been put in paying off was the greatest feeling and seeing my player kick ass was just icing on the cake. Taking Arizona down a notch didn't hurt either.!

50 is a huge milestone and I am happy to have a player as part of this league to commemorate in this joyous occasion! My favourite moments are watching the games with friends in the gameday chat. It's a lot of fun to root for the Buccaneers and see my lil dot going up and down the field trying to chase everyone down. I do hope that I can continue to grow as a player and make a big impact once I'm in the ISFL. Otherwise, I love the community events. It is a lot of fun to do Jackbox event nights as everyone (sans deadly) seems extremely good at the trivia segments! The drawing games are also fun but I'm usually so sleepy by that point that I can only draw scribbles and make funny prompts. I do love following the iSFL and DSFL players go through the MVP races throughout the year. While I still think Shrubbery and Greenbeans were robbed, I do hope that they win MVP by the 50th. I'd love a chance to win MVP someday, but at CB I doubt that will happen which is not the biggest loss in the world. I'd rather just have friends to hangout with even if I lost every single game of my career leading up to the 50th.
The only history that Mo can write about is the history he'll be making once he hits the ISFL next season for the Berlin Fire Salamanders. Right now, Mo is on a fast track journey to finish the business, his team, the London Royals, started last season by getting to the Ultimini. You have the majority of your career to win the Ultimus.... but the Ultimini? That's a totally different ball of wax. History will remember this post, this time and when Mo made this promise. And why shouldnt it? Because the proudest moment of Mo's career was when he got taken 2nd overall, which wasn't a fluke. He was destined for greatness from the beginning, and thats what he intends to deliver to everyone who believe in him, especially post forced vacation. 51 Tackles, 2 Sacks, 3 Forced Fumbles, 2 Fumble Recoveries and 12 Tackles for a Loss? Yeah this man is just getting started!
I hit a point not-too-long-ago where I had been in the league for more than half of the total seasons we have completed. It was a weird feeling as I do not think I will ever quite feel like I have been here all that long as I've been surrounded by people like Chamber or Infinite who have been here much, much longer than I. But still, I've seen some shit... I have a ton of positive memories over the years in this season. I think my all time favorite was the season I spent GMing in Norfolk where LCC and I took our roster to the ultimini while basically doing no sim testing or adjusting of our strategies. The locker room was buzzing and we were having a ton of fun with it. I've spent quite a bit of time in the Colorado locker room and have a ton of pleasant memories over the years there as well. We had a minecraft server up and running that produced some good times. We had a few seasons of running verts 80 that produced some absolutely absurd results in the sim and some really fun moments in the locker room. I believe one season we had 3 different 1,000 yard receivers? It was absolutely broken. There have also been some not so great times along the way, but ultimately I'm still here because I feel the good has far outnumbered the bad.
I remember joining the league not long after covid started with the S25 ISFL class. Had no idea what I was doing and really only stayed around becuase of the locker room I ended up being drafted to in the 10th or 11th round. I saw Pat's PT and can't believe the number of amazing users Tijuana drafted that year. You myself, HOF Mark Walker, kotasa, HOF Rich Triplet, guitarmaster, HOF Adam Mellott, they really drafted three hall of famers in the same draft. That is pretty cool, shoutout to mith and swanky for drafting me! I only spent the one year on Tijuana, got called up right away and missed the ultimini championship the team won in S25. But that's ok, I managed to snag one later on with my next player, just barely. Then I was drafted to the Wraiths to be the WR2 behind one of/if not the greatest wide receiver ever in Kai Sakura. Good times, we even managed to get two ultimus wins with that team! Been almost four years now. And here I am on my third player just got drafted.
I'm relatively new to the league I would say as this will only be my third season in the league. That being said I have already forged great bonds with others and have some great memories. I think the first thing that comes to my would be the DSFL draft. Being first overall really got me amped up for the league. Now as a GM I feel like its paid off dividends in a way for London as I'm the next wave of leadership. Even before the draft getting scouted was one of my favorite parts of the entire process. Then hopping on to watch the prospect bowl stream and see how I was doing on the field was equally as exciting. Being the new guy can be intimidating but many of the members have made it a very smooth process. Interviewing each GM for my media coming up was a great way for me to connect with all the leadership and I'm proud to say I plan on being apart of that leadership one day myself.
