Halftime in the ISFL. Lets take a look at the league standings and the league individual leaders.
Looking at the standings and also at the power ranking there are three teams with an identical 7-1 record. In the ASFC the defending champion Arizona Outlaws and the San Jose Sabe Cats are sitting at the top of the standings and in the NSFC there are the Baltimore Hawks with a two game lead sitting in the #1 spot.
In the power rankings the top three teams are #1 San Jose, #2 Baltimore and #3 Arizona.
If the playoffs started today we would see in the ASFC the San Jose Saber Cats vs the New Orleans Secondline and the Arizona Outlaws vs the Orange County Otters.
In the NSFC the playoff pairings would be Baltimore Hawks vs the Sarasota Sailfish and the Chicago Butchers vs the Yellowknife Wraiths.
But with 8 games still on the schedule there is no team yet eliminated from playoff contention. You never know who get shot in the second half of the season.
Looking at some individual statistics we find at the QB position San Jose's Josh Patterson who leads the league in QB rating + passing TDs and is 8th in passing yards.
Donnovan Winters III, QB from the Arizona Outlaws is in the top three in all QB statistics. He is 3rd in passing yards and 2nd in Passing TDs and passing rating.
A third QB to mention is Lloyd Bannings from the Orange County Otters, he is in the top 5 in all three statistics. 4th in passing yardage, 5th in passing TDs and 4th in passer rating.
There are 3 RBs with 700+ yards at halftime of the season. Leading in rushing yards is Sarasota Sailfish RB Ace Anderson with 774 yards, #2 is Orange County Otters Reginald Shrubbery with 731 yards and #3 is Yellowknife Wraiths Money Toliver with 708 yards. Rushing TDs with eight each have Baltimore Hawks Anakin Skywalker and Arizona Outlaws Bertie Mannering-Phipps.
Receiving yards have a clear #1 WR with Sean Robinson from the New York Silverbacks with 797. This is 120 yards more than #2 WR NCADV RAINN from the Colorado Yeti with 673 yards. Receiving TDs leader is Arizona Outlaws WR Benji Aguilera with 7.
