Happy Friday! I hope you ISFLers have some fun stuff planned for the weekend :widepeepohappy:
It has been brought to DSFL Head Office's attention through multiple user reports over the course of both this season as well as previous seasons, user and Dallas GM @WALDO has acted and communicated in ways detrimental to the DSFL’s main purpose of development, retention, and the overall new user experience.
During our investigation, DSFL Head Office determined the following:
-Waldo exhibited an active disinterest in developing new users for the ISFL;
-Waldo ostracized Dallas veterans and divebombed the Dallas locker room;
-Waldo took action to intentionally tank Dallas once it was clear they would not be proceeding to the postseason;
-Waldo aggressively and unprofessionally degraded new users during scouting conversations.
DSFL GM Duties are defined in the rulebook as:
DSFL General Managers (GMs) should strive first and foremost to provide an engaging and informative experience for new users and players. This can be achieved by, but is not limited to: prioritizing active human player stats over those of bots or inactive players regardless of its effect on overall win totals; maintaining a positive, patient, and supportive attitude; fostering healthy and not overly negative rivalries among teams; and collaboration with other DSFL GMs to improve user experience.
DSFL HO have received multiple reports, screenshots, and conversations related specifically to the actions of Waldo, and have taken each one into account in our decision-making.
As such, DSFL HO has voted to remove Waldo from the Dallas GM position, effective immediately.
As is the case with any punishment, Waldo is entitled to appeal these decisions by speaking to @Attopax or any other member of the Appeals Team.
