After a long hiatus from Ultimus Host City submissions, I have decided to return to the arena. For your consideration:
The City
With a population just over 1 million people and over 1.5 million in the surrounding metro area, Panama's capital is a bustling city that would be sure to draw big crowds for a premier sporting event such as the Ultimus or Ultimini Bowl games.
The Venue
Panama has a plethora of sports teams, mainly playing the local favorite sports - futbol and beisbol - and has several suitable sites for the ISFL championship game to be held. Rod Carew Stadium (also known as the National Baseball Stadium) can host 27,000 people, while the largest football field at Rommel Fernandez Stadium has capacity of over 32,000.
The Logo
My logo design for a Panama City championship game features the striking symbolism of the nation's flag, here represented as two locks overlooking the famous Panama Canal, which passes directly past the capital city. The Ultimus trophy is featured prominently in the central location above the canal, symbolizing the confluence of international interest driving the ISFL - what could be a more international location than the site that links the Atlantic and the Pacific? Finally the text elements are chosen to give a tropical / Caribbean vibe, representing the beautiful weather that visitors for the games would find in January 2064.
