Written option: The tortuous wait of the Offseason is over and Football is finally back! We've all been waiting for the arrival of S50 of the ISFL, but what exactly did you do to pass the time? Write about how your player spent their Offseason preparing for the turn of a new season. Did you study up on your team's playbook? Maybe you were a gym rat hitting the weights 7 days a week. Or did you take it easy with your time off with an extravagant vacation? Whatever you did tell us about how you passed the time.
For Gusztáv Farkas the offseason means finding a new team to play for and all the hassles that comes with that. Finding a new place to live, moving all his stuff, saying goodbye to all the friends he has made.
Once a team has been decided and the move has happened, Farkas dives straight into learaning the playbook. He needs to refresh his brain on what his new team plays, unlearn what his last team did and then learn everything for the new team.
This is always a massive change and can lead to very interesting sessions on the training grounds. First snap played in a scrimmage match had Farkas running one of his YKW plays, to the suprised of everyone. He fudged the play up so badly. Luckily that is something he can usually get out of pretty quickly.
Beyond all that is of course exploring and finding things to do in the new city. This offseason San Jose has been an absolute pleasure to explore. He went out a couple of times with his team mates to get to know them better.
