Booter McGavin's offseason was very different than his past 12 offseasons. This year he had to navigate a move to a new team on a new continent. Now that he is a member of Berlin, Booter decided he would see some sights around Europe to expand his cultural horizons. He started with England where he just had to see both Big Ben and Buckingham Palace. Next he moved on to France where he spent time at both the Eiffel tower and the Louvre. Third was his trip to Spain and Portugal where he was enamored by the Alhambra and just the general beauty of Porto. But Booter's favorite place to visit was Greece. Athens was a particular treat as Booter loved to see the Parthenon and the whole acropolis. But Booter believes the real beauty of Greece came from the islands. He spent a week on both Mykonos and Santorini taking in the beautiful Greek sun and waves.
It was a rare, interesting offseason for Howard Coward, as he had done something he’d never done before: he retired. Coward announced S50 was going to be last, and then he’ll hang up his Copperheads jersey forever. Jack Crackerjack, however, is just getting started. The brand new DSFL QB has a dream to be the best QB in league history, so his offseason was full of hitting the weight room to get stronger overall. Arms, legs, and core. There’s a lot of room for improvement in Jack’s game, and he knows it. He worked out throwing routes to his hometown friends as well as he waited for the draft. And finally, he got drafted to Tijuana. The Luchadores are an awesome franchise, and JCJ is thrilled to be there. Except that Tijuana also drafted Peaquad von Turbo, who is also a QB. And PVT got the first start of the season over JCJ (a Luchadores victory) so Jack isn’t sure exactly how his season is going to play out. But he’ll keep working to be the starter. (177)
It was a long offseason for Anakin Skywalker. A second straight year of losing in the Ultimus to New Orleans. Plenty of time was spent dwelling on the cruel nature of sports.
Oh, but he won MVP. It’s sort of a consultation prize, but a lot of MVP winners won the award in a year that they didn’t win the big one. Plenty of time was spent working toward a chance to win it again. This is the first year of regression for him, and as Wolfie and Shrubbery get deeper into regression, the sense of urgency is unbearable. This season could be the last real shot at a ring for him. The entire team deserves to win, but you start to feel for the older players that have been the core for the team. The one thing Skywalker did not do was participate in any beach flag football, you know, like the NFL Pro Bowl. That is because there is sand on beaches, and Skywalker hates sand.
Sean Aldrich has a pretty overwhelming off season. Now, that is because he is a dual sport athlete. What sport might that be? Discuss golf. Sean aldrich is a huge disc golfing fan. Every weekend he goes down with some of his buddies to the course and throws the dsic around. Yes, the all star ISFL Fullback plays disc golf in the off-season. Yes, of course he puts time in the weight room, and on the field, but disc golf means so much more to him than the treacherous workouts he endures. Aldrich has entered in plenty of tournaments as well, and earning himself some handy checks along the way, making himself a name in the Disc Golf community. Football will always be his #1 passion, but disc golf, is his true love. If he could spend the rest of his life throwing a Frisbee in a metal net, he would do it in a heartbeat.
Greatest Fullback there is
-Sean Aldrich Achievements: • 2x ISFL Pro bowler • 1x DSFL Pro Bowler • 1x 1st Team All Pro • 1x 2nd Team All Pro • 1x Ultimni/Ultimus Ring
In his first offseason as a member of the San Jose Sabercats prospect system, Rockmann was immersed in thier playbooks and training regiments, as he would have 3 seasons to maximize his potential before joining the big league club. After studying their playbook for a majority of the offseason, it was back to Portland to continue to build a rapport with the returning WRs, TEs, and RBs that were returning for another run for a Ultimini. With an Ultimini already under his belt Rockmann now has an entire season and offseason with his skill position players, so anything less than a repeat will be a massive disappointment for Rockmann and the Pythons. Despite combing all this with doing the same weight training, he feels like he hasn't gotten any better than his Ultimini form, which is a good thing, but it is like he is unable to become any better until he rejoins the Sabercats as their starting QB.
This off-season was my first one ever. It was surreal finally being away from the college game and preparing for the real thing. When I found out Bondi Beach was going to by my new home for the foreseeable future, I jumped right into learning the playbook. I don't expect to play a whole lot just yet, so I need to really learn the routes and my responsibilities. I also did a lot of research on the area, what the people are like, what there is to do for fun. I spent the last few days settling into the apartment that my agent and the team helped me secure, which is a big part of my hopeful future success now that I have somewhere nice to rest when I'm not at the team facility. I spent plenty of time visualizing my success this year, and I hope to capitalize on it as I embark on this new journey that hopefully will end with me being a champion.

Over the offseason Sebastian Rosenthal has had quite the whirlwind. He was finally able to get back to the gym in Norfolk recently, but for most of the offseason it's been a busy time. Sebastian was in the ISFL draft, so there was plenty of media and hooplah surrounding that. The draft was quite strong, so there was lots of discussion even down to a 3rd round pick like Rosenthal. He was drafted to Osaka, which is quite a journey for the young German. Sebastian took the trip to Osaka for a couple of weeks following the draft, the see Japan and the Kaiju's facilities and meet the team. It will be some time before he suits up, but it's good to get used to things early. Before getting back to Norfolk though, Sebastian travelled to North Carolina for the PBE draft to see his brother Leon get drafted. After spending a few days celebrating with Leon and their sister Katharina who's SHL season was also over, it was finally time for Sebastian to head back to Norfolk and get in the gym. He's been extremely determined in the lead up to the season, hoping to put on a big improvement over his rookie year.
Warrick headed back to his home planet of Endor during the offseason. Intergalactic travel is relatively new for the humans of earth but surprisingly the Ewoks’ sticks and stones have the capability to teleport him back home at any time. Don’t ask how. While Warrick mostly kept this trip as a vacation he was still committed quite a bit of time to watching game film and reviewing changes to the playbook for the upcoming season. While there aren’t expected to be any major changes since the core of New York has now been established, there will be some new tricks up the sleeves of the Silverbacks. While on Endor he caught up with friends, relived the glory days of taking down the Empire, and signed plenty of autographs. While Warrick isn’t a star player in the league outside of Endor, the Ewoks of Endor have all quickly become New York fans with many wearing merch and iconic shirts like the I Heart New York one. While the trip went much quicker than expected he had a great time reminiscing and relaxing.

All I do is win win win no matter what! Those are the vibes I am feeling after helping NOLA secure back to back championships and breaking our long playoff drought and futility! As I begin to enter regression mode, I took this offseason to finally relax after stressing for the back to back rings and took a bit of a vacation in Miami just to vibe and enjoy myself. While I was in Miami, I took in the sights and reconnected with my old home and memories and swam in the Beach like old times! After the vacation was up, I went back to my training harder than ever! Since I'm regressing, I wanted to keep my conditioning up as much as possible and to make sure that I trained my body to be more efficient with energy as I try to extend my playing career and to help NOLA secure more rings in the future!
