Julian Rose had a bit of a not very exciting off season, mostly because it was important to focus on the mental aspect of the game, studying various books and learning about different concepts from things outside of the game of football, this might seem a bit counter productive but it’s the studying and trying to translate these new ideas learned from books to try and translate into football. Other than that, the time was spent doing a lot of meditation and spending time in the nature of Cape Town, not really leaving the city so he could be close to the Crash training ground to walk around and really live inside the gym for the summer, there’s no flashy vacation photos or any Instagram highlights but Julian believes in not releasing information that his ISFL opponents can use against him in the future. After all if no one knows your weaknesses, it makes it hard to prepare.

Silence Suzuka did what she normally does every offseason. She went back to Japan to commentate on the races she used to participate in. Watching the races gets her feeling a bit nostalgic, and motivates her to want to run that fast again. She also leads practices for the newer athletes who want to get into racing. While doing this she occasionally finds someone who is not as well suited to racing, and would be better at football. She has sent a few athletes down that road.
After the races, she talks with some of the participants, and sometimes attempts to influence them to try out for the DSFL when they are done with racing. So far she has not been successful, but it seems to be working on at least a couple of them. Some notable names that are now interested in trying out for the DSFL at some point in the future are: Tokai Teio, Daitaku Helios, Tanino Gimlet, and Katsuragi Ace.
Well, Frosty Steele had a pretty busy off season. Starting off like normal he was just making sure he kept up with his training and working out until one day he got a call from his majors' team general manager. The conversation was just a normal check in, until it wasn't. During the call his general manager told Frosty Steele that he was being CALLED UP TO THE MAIN ROSTER! This was a dream come true for Frosty Steele as he was always looking to when he would be getting that call. So, Frosty immediately packed his bags and made the travel from Norfolk over to New Orleans to join his new team. He had a lot of busy days getting tours around all of the facility, showing around the gym area, the practice field, the stadium, and getting settled into a new place to call home and find some new places to be a normal at. Whether it be a sports bar, restaurant, or just a coffee shop. Frosty Steele liked to get to know his location.

Kal Summers Jr always spends one month free of training in the offseason to let himself recuperate, but after that its right back to the grind. Once the month off is over he starts with 4am workouts, and longs runs to get himself back into shape. He'll slowly start ramping it up into two workout session a day with weights, and runs. Then once camp starts to close in he get with his QB, and starts working on routes, and chemistry. The Luchadores had two QBs, so he spent time with both of them running route, and getting used to the way they tossed the ball. Kal also works on his balance by taking dance, and yoga classes. He'll also work with Martial Arts specialist in order to learn how to roll correctly, and how to work on taking glancing hits so he can shake lose defenders. On top of that he'll meet up with his brother to get some good old fashioned family workouts in.
Footbal is back!! My player has been looking forward to this for so long. They had really been taking a different approach to their off season training and can not wait to see it pay dividends throughout the season this year. One of the ways my player has been training differently is with a new method of studying play books and what not. As you know my player Krusty Krab pizza loves to make pizza so they spent all off season studying plays by recreating them in pizzas using different pizza toppings. Pepperoni for Xs and sausage for Os and what not. Then they would get a killer workout in and then eat said pizzas after studying the okay that was put in them with toppings. And the pizza that he made is hands down the best recovery food for the workouts he was putting in. His source for that? Well check out the stats at the end of the season.
For Deacon Blues, he spent the offseason doing what he was expected to do. Lifting weights, studying the playbook, and watching film of the best blockers out there. Of course, this helps him to be the best blocker he can, but this is not his main goal in life. Deacon's goals are all related to his love of music. He spent as much time as he could manage in Brooklyn, visiting his mother and playing his beloved saxophone. Many a nights were spent in moody clubs and upon dimly lit stages. While he does not get the same rush from jazz as he does football, it soothes his soul like nothing else can. He is never more at peace than when he is playing music. In some ways, he is playing football in the short term in order to fund his future in which he can play music and spend time with his family as much as possible.
Crane has a good offseason training program, which includes daily exercise, along with cross training in other sports (Mainly in beer leagues but still useful), and weekly film study. First, Crane still uses his opened Parkour gym to help with grip strength and cardio, along with full body strength that improves every time he hits his own gym. He also uses his old GRE contacts to get in with paramilitary training exercises, which allows him to do high performance training over the course of the season, which rarely any player has access too. He will also play in rugby, hockey, and basketball in order to keep the competitive spirit in him throughout the season, and keeps Crane from getting burnt out through the offseason. Also weekly, he'll go to the film room in the NOLA training facility, where throughout the year he'll watch his highlights that has been annotated by the current OC and RBs Coach in order to stay mentally sharp.
This offseason was all about rest and relaxation for me. It was a long season and I definitely needed some time off to recharge and reset the clock. First thing we did as a family was take a trip to Florence, Italy for some nice time in Tuscany. We visited vineyards, sampled a ton of wines, and enjoyed delicious food at every stop. After our time at the villa was over, it was back to the United States, but we didn't just head back to Atlanta. Yellowstone was the next stop for us and that trip could not have gone better. I've always wanted to go out west and we made so many family memories. It really meant the world to see our family enjoy the beautiful surroundings and spend some really quality time with one another. After that, we came home to Atlanta but still tried to focus on relaxing and really spending good time with each other. The season can be so hectic that we don't always get a lot of time to see each other during the year, so this was really important.
