DSFL Head Office is once again accepting applications for the DSFL Awards Head position!
As an Awards head or co-head, you will be responsible for the hiring of the DSFL Awards Committee (permanent members) and DSFL Awards Representatives (seasonal-based members) to discuss and nominate players for the following awards:
- Most Valuable Player
- Offensive Player of the Year
- Defensive Player of the Year
- Special Teams Player of the Year (when applicable)
- Offensive Rookie of the Year
- Defensive Rookie of the Year
- Offensive Performance of the Year
- Defensive Performance of the Year
You will be responsible for making sure your nominations and ballots are due by the adherent deadlines, and guiding your team to analyze and properly gauge the potential nominees via stats and scores.
Additionally, you will also be responsible for checking that players are eligible for awards via activity checks and inactivity rules.
The position has both been run prior by one Awards head, or two co-heads; therefore, you may be asked to work with a partner to split these responsibilities accordingly.
No experience is necessary; however, leadership qualities and proficiency in interpreting stats is preferred.
