Ian Bavitz is an intense creature of habit, so his off-season routine is practically the same as his in-season routine. Pre-dawn alarm goes off and Bavitz makes his way into the kitchen to mix up his protein shake and prepare his breakfast of 4 large eggs, scrambled and mixed with home-made salsa.
After his satisfying breakfast, he meets up with his personal trainer at his home gym and does his morning workout, focusing on strength training. After a couple hours with the personal trainer, he takes a break to meet with his personal nutritionist. They go over nutritional goals for the day, and the nutritionist helps devise a meal-plan for the day that will give Bavitz all the vitamins, minerals and proteins he will need to make it through the next portion of his grueling workouts.
Bavitz sends the newly drawn-up meal-plan to his personal chef who begins work on preparation for lunch, and eventually for dinner. Several snack times throughout the day help round out Bavitz' massive amount of caloric intake required to fuel his body.
After lunch, Bavitz meets up with his personal trainer again, this time for afternoon workouts. Strength training was in the morning, his afternoon session consists of conditioning workouts designed to ensure Bavitz won't be tired in the 4th quarter.
After his workouts are done, he enjoys the rest of the meals his nutritionist and chef planned for his day while relaxing with whatever tickles his fancy at the time, usually movies on his giant flat screen.
It all starts over again the next morning, making sure Bavitz is in prime shape for the start of the NSFL season.
