Spinelli has been focusing mainly on one thing, and that's his speed. He wants to make sure he's at least a step ahead of everyone on the field and, looking at the strides he's make in such a short while I think its safe to say this may be the case. Spinelli has the acceleration of a cheetah compared to most kids in the DSFL and, he's only getting faster. Now will this translate to production on the field? We will have to wait and see but, if the front line in Tijuana can make a hole for him, I think he will be able to charge through. With that in mind the blocking needs to be strong down the field as well, if anyone manages to get a good angle on Spinelli it could totally jar him. He's not use to getting hit and, no one is sure of his strength on the ball. I'd expect to see a few fumbles in this very formative year, as right now its clear his focus is raw explosiveness, but if he can develop the early its only a matter of time before the rest follows along. I'm excited to see what he can do out there.
