I can and did buy all my s4 gear and can still afford most s5 gear already. I write the power rankings because they're fun but i have 0 use for the money, so rather than just horde a resource I have in plenty I'm going to try and help my teammates who don't have amounts of time and try and help the parity in the league. Players can accept lower contracts, but still gain lots of TPE without being particularly active if someone on the team will just give them money to buy equipment and pay for training. His work as the simmer is undoubtedly the most important thing here, more important than your power rankings. Why can't his work which allows everyone to enjoy this league be used to help his teammates who don't have time? Sure it would do the opposite of increasing parity....but that isn't really a reason to have a double standard for giving other people the fruits of your labor. What if a team is near their salary cap, but offers a guy a min contract, with the incentive that they will also give him a 600-word story payout every week and a four graphic payout every week? Isn't that circumventing the spirit of the rule? There's a million ways to circumvent the rules. But y'all forget one thing, this is a hobby not a job, if people feel like they have to write 800 words a week to keep up with thier peers it can easily stop becoming fun and more just be writing for the sake of writing.

It's also not fun, when you put in the time to have a TPE advantage over someone else, then they get free TPE when a peer decides to give them money/TPE for nothing. You forget that this is a hobby. Hobbies include work. Everyone should have known what they were getting into and if its not their cup of tea then they can retire or progress via activity checks. Its a SIM league not Madden. (10-30-2017, 09:17 AM)timeconsumer Wrote:Okay, so by your logic why not let Er give his $75m to his teammates? This is the biggest reason I'm opposed to this. At the very least, I guess we should be able to send job payouts to teammates too...
