I just arrived in the Portland Pythons organization, when they said my name at number 19 I was really excited, I saw how good of a draft they had before picking me and they were one of my top choices. I wasn’t really sure where I would end up in this draft however I’m really glad it was in Portland. I’m not sure how I will fit in the organization whether I’m a starter or not but looking forward to finding out what type of role I will have on the team and seeing how my DSFL career plays out. Right away the locker room welcomed me with open arms and you could tell the general managers were really happy with the way the draft went and that all the new players were pretty happy to be there. It was fun meeting my new team mates last night and getting to meet some of the alumni on the Pythons, I’m probably one of the more quiet guys on the team but they made me feel really comfortable right away. Pre-season starts today and I’m pretty excited to see how our new squad does after such a successful draft this season. Hopefully we can bring home a championship this year!

Joliet L. Christ is in kind of a new place, but at the same time in the same place but with new faces. Joliet was drafted in the NSFL draft number four to the San Jose Sabrecats and has enjoyed meeting the new teammates and getting interactions in before inevitably being sent down to the DSFL. Joliet is back in Portland but sees many of his teammates leave the Pythons for the NSFL. Poopsie, Lucari Felix, Shannon Hobbs and others will be taking the field in the NSFL this season and they need to be replaced. Luckily, guys like Pitcher and Summer are still around and I imagine Hasselhoff might be as well although he is inactive now I believe. It will be a new roster in Portland but we had a tremendous draft and brought on a ton of weapons at Christ's disposal. Time will tell but Portland brought on a ton of talent at a lot of different positions. We even picked up someone I know from OOTP leagues and EFL in Slim shady who should be a solid backup back for the team behind Summer. I am looking forward to quarterbacking the team and getting this team back into the playoffs to hopefully win the Ultimini this season before joining Poopsie and the Sabrecats next season to start the rebuilding process!

With things only going upwards in terms of progress, Devo was drafted 19th in the 3rd Round by the Yeti. While saddened by the fact that his value is only worthy of the 3rd-4th round caliber, he still looks ahead at what the future will be for him because regardless of picked in a later spot, he still has the chance to capitalize on the opportunities of being a probable sleeper pick. But draft things aside with nothing holding Cansino's future and ability (besides himself.) he glad takes his lumps and takes on the new world that has been brought on to him known as... The NSFL... Which is where Devo would be going, but first he has to endure another season with San Antonio seeing how he hasn't crunched hard enough yet to actually be brought up to Colorado, but in due time he will see the new door that's opened up for him in this new year. Thus that it's been embedded in the boy's mind to really work the gym and give 150% at both the practices and in this upcoming preseason to prove to all the league that he is of high-value despite the late pick bust rumors and break above the mold to make a name for himself in the league.
Season 10 marks a new chapter in my NSFL career. After 2 seasons in Tijuana, marked with back to back Ultimini Championships, I'm ready for the big call up to the big leagues. I'd accomplished everything I set out to in my time in the DSFL and I feel like I'm ready for the big show. When I got the call from my GM to pack up my things and move to San Jose, I was elated. I said my goodbyes to all the amazing people with the Luchadores and headed towards my new challenge.
Once I stepped into my new locker room with my fellow SaberCats, the nerves slowly went away. So far I've hit it off with a few of my new teammates. One of them is newly drafted receiver Kazimir Oles. We're both going into our rookie seasons and are both the main weapons for new quarterback Mat Akselsen. Playing the same position has really made us connect and I know we're going to be in sync on the field. Another player I was happy to connect with again was our tight end Zapp Brannigan. We were teammates in Tijuana back in Season 8 and won a championship together. It was really nice to re-connect and share the field and a locker room again. There's a whole bunch of awesome guys in the locker room in San Jose and I can't wait to hit the field with all of them and help bring the SaberCats back to glory. (251 words)
Slim Shady is dropping his mic for the last time and joining the Portland Pythons on the football field. The 15 time grammy award winner is putting on the cleats and attempting to make it in football. Impressing coaches with elite speed, which Shady claims comes from running eight miles everyday, he needs to put the work in and improve other aspects of his play. Aside from speed that can keep up with anyone in the DSFL scouts believe he has untouched agility and hands potential that can make him a monster in the modern NSFL.
Shady getting claimed off of waivers by Portland was probably the best thing that could happen to his career. In addition to having a clear path to play time, he is reunited with the coach that peaked his interest in football and convinced him to swap his mikes for a helmet and pair of cleats, he is also re-united with his buddy Joel L. Chirst. Both Daybe, Christ, and the rest of the team has been very welcoming to him so far in giving him advice in what areas to focus in and have helped him navigate around league. A Shady, Christ backfield looks to dominate opposing defenses next season. thanks to psanchez for the sigs
It's finally that time in Orange County. The time when the best quarterback in league history is ready to hang up his cleats. Mike Boss's tenure as the best QB on the historically best team in the league is over.
Season 10 ushers in a new era for the Orange County Otters. Up-and-coming quarterback Gus T.T. Showbiz spent two seasons with the Kansas City Coyotes while preparing for the moment he takes over and it has finally arrived. Gus T.T. Showbiz has incredibly large cleats to fill at the position. Mike Boss holds nearly every record for quarterbacks in the league and is a sure-fire first-ballot Hall of Famer. In the end, Showbiz will need to put that out of his mind and just strive to forge his own path. The Otters appear in good hands, as Showbiz has had a couple years to prepare, and the team is returning Wide Receiver of the Year and league MVP Carlito Crush to the fold to give him a steady, sure-handed target. Several new offensive pieces will join the fold as well in an effort to continue the long-standing offensive tradition on Orange County. We'll soon see if the youngsters can meld with the veterans in the locker room and continue the winning pedigree of the Otters.

Gordon Ramsey Jr. isn't too far from home. He lived in Louisiana his whole life, which is only a 8 or 9 hour drive from San Antonio. But he's a high style guy, so he chose to fly there instead of taking a road trip. It's not too bad. He loves the Texans (The people, not the NFL team). They really like to joke around with all their state pride and "everything is bigger in Texas" mentality. Plus, holy shit, they cook some good barbeque. It's not even like other kinds of BBQ in the south, they have a whole different style. It's more of stuff like brisket instead of pulled pork, but it's twice as good. It makes it hard for Gordon to stick to his diet. On of his favorite hobbies is to go to Spurs games with his teammates. The atmosphere inside of their arena is electric. They may not be as crazy as New Orleans, they're pretty good. he cant' wait to go in front of a crowd like this for the Marshals. At practice, Ramsey seems to be bonding pretty well with his fellow teammates, among being a beast. So far in training camp, he's intercepted the ball 19 times in 14 practices. Even though the loves it in San Antonio, Gordon Ramsey Jr. hopes he won't have to stay here too long before he gets called up to the NSFL.
After the most storybook rookie season in the DSFL, I have to say that it was bittersweet to be drafted and called up by the San Jose Sabercats. I got really attached to Tijuana, being in a warmer, sunnier climate, having such adoring fans, and being able to hit the beach after our especially greuling practices. It was such a rush to be able to win an Ultimini on the first season, and it seems like the team really have some momentum under their current GM’s, Icy Douglas and Epictitus Milburn, along with all the superstars who have been able to stay down in the development league and help build the team as vets. I’m excited to stay in touch with them all, as an alumnus while I move up to San Jose, and luckily we won’t be that far apart. But more seriously, I’m a little intimidated to be starting in the NSFL so soon, after only one season. I’ve always strived to rise to the occasion and will focus extra on my training and trying to integrate with the team. I am looking forward to seeing what the big leagues are like and hear I’ll be chasing a lot of folks down the field, ha. But that’s alright with me, I do love distance, but I also love a good sprint, too.
