After a game against Colorado that had us yearning for DSFL competence, Noble actually saw a huge spike in TANY/A, throwing for 224 yards on 29 attempts, 0 touchdowns, 2 interceptions, and only 4 sacks. That was Noble's best game this year. Fortunately, for my amusement, he then followed that up with what might be the single least effective game a QB has ever played. In 38 dropbacks, Noble completed only 5 passes for 49 yards. He got sacked 11 times for 69 yards, putting him at negative yards without a turnover. Of course, he did turn the ball over, fumbling on one of his sacks. He is now on pace for every negative record in a season except sacks taken, fumbles, and interceptions.

15 rushes for 40 yards. That is far from the worst thing Akselsen has going for him, but I miss seeing his big runs. I expected more rushing yards, but also more fumbles. One thing I will give him credit for is being remarkably consistent. His worst game is within 3 yards/play of his best this year. Still, I knew he would regress this season, and I actually expected a slightly lower average, but instead, he's been boring, and that's so much worse.

Speaking of disappointment, this guy knows he has a top-notch WR corps, right? Showbiz is actually doing very well as a passer (still the best TD:INT ratio in the league), but it's the plays he doesn't pass that are hurting him. His 54 sacks/rushes account for 17% of his plays (highest % after Noble), -99 yards, and 3 fumbles. I think that with less rushing, Showbiz could move a few spots up the list. Or, if he is going to risk so many tackles, invest in some hands.

After such a big breakout year, Applehort is now falling back to earth. He just played what will likely be the worst game any QB (or team) plays against Philadelphia this season, skyrocketing his interceptions. Honestly, I think this was just a fluke game. His completion %, sack %, and interception rate were all on a great pace until tonight. Expect him to move up a spot before the season ends.

Paging @majesiu. I thought his picking me as the 6th QB in fantasy was a bad idea, but Fitzpatrick is thriving behind that big OL. 3 of his 4 interceptions came from tonight's games, which saw 0 TDs as well. If these were flukes, then he is on pace for a great season, though I don't see him ever catching back up to the top 3. If this is the start of a cold streak, on the other hand...

I expected a higher score. Maximus is doing a great job of limiting his sacks taken, but maybe he needs to cut down on the running, since that gets him a little over half the adjusted yards per play as his passing. At least he's raised his ball security.

In his last 3 games, Pennington notched more wins than he had in his previous 31. As I predicted, his efficiency has almost doubled, and he has yet to play against Philadelphia, so you know it is only going to get better. After two years in San Jose, life is finally looking up for Pennington.

Hey, look, Blocksdale is on top again. Like last year, he seems almost impossible to sack, but where last year he was great at avoiding interceptions, this year he's just getting more big plays. Look at his rushing yards. That is a pocket passer with over 10 yards per rush. We'll see if he can stay on top one more year. Not bad for a QB in his 3rd season of regression, eh?
