With the league getting older and older, so do all the brave players who we're part of the inaugural season of this league. We have seen many of them already fall to retirement or auto retirement and the pool of players who were in that first ever NSFL draft class of over 140 draftees keeps getting smaller and smaller.
Today I wanted to look at who of these NSFL old folk are still going strong, who are in danger of being a part of the slaughter that is auto retirement next offseason and who have decided that this season will be their last and already announced their retirements.
Players will be displayed with their current TPE according to their player page.
The list of potential autoretireés:
Bubba Nuck (193 TPE)
Ryan Flock (208 TPE)
Alex Hayden (210 TPE)
Logan Noble (174 TPE)
Dominic Verns (178 TPE)
Stormblessed (152 TPE)
Dental Dam (157 TPE)
Jogn Floggity (151 TPE)
Mark Ramrio (154 TPE)
Luke Tiernan (163 TPE)
Harrif Ernston (167 TPE)
AC Hackett (178 TPE)
George Wright Jr. (206 TPE)
Stephen Harrison (162 TPE)
Alex Hansen (183 TPE)
The sweetspot to stay alive this season is 240 TPE. As the rulebook states '''10th season 40% TPE loss'. 60% of 240 TPE is 150 which is the minumum number of TPE you are aloud to have, before auto retirement comes in and whoops yo ass.
Most of these players are inactive and will most likely be taken out by auto retirement at the end of the season. If they want to stay alive for atleast one more season they will have to get back to the training grounds and work their bodies up. Many classic names are in this list and which will be greatly missed for sure.
S1 players who have announced their retirement after S10:
Mat Akselsen (701 TPE)
Bradley Westfield (612 TPE)
Jayce Tuck (548 TPE)
Antoine Delacour (512 TPE)
Mayran Jackson (479 TPE)
Johnathon Saint (467 TPE)
Vikian Marmeladov (390TPE)
John Canton (231 TPE)
Stephan Harris (218 TPE)
A list of S1 heroes who have announced that season 10 will be their last one on the field. Many iconic names inhabit this list and some very high TPE level players at that aswell. We hope to see their spritits continue to live on in newly created players and may we hope that history remembers these top lads.
Active S1 Players:
Boss Tweed (854 TPE)
Angus Winchester (847 TPE)
Turk Turkleton (595 TPE)
Alexandre LeClair (554 TPE)
Ja Brill (424 TPE)
Kurt Hendrix (418 TPE) *
Reg Mackworthy (355 TPE)
Bailey Cook (339 TPE)
Josh Garden (335 TPE) *
Shane Weston (283 TPE) *
Ricky Maddox (263 TPE) *
Jaylon Lee (250 TPE) *
* = Indicates players who are inactive and if they stay inactive will be a victem of auto retirement after season 11.
The last remaining players of the S1 draftclass. A total of twelve fine players who at this point are still all active for season 11 of the NSFL.
The question that rises is who of these players will still be around after season 11? Will any of them announce their retirements in the offseason? How much longer will they be around? With miss regression becoming fiercer and fiercer on these players many will start feeling their bodies weaken rapidly. While some players like Tweed and Winchester seem like they could go on forever, will they?
I hope you all enjoy this little write up about the remaining players from the S1 draft class. It will be an extremely sad day when the last remaining players from this draft class say goodbye to the game.
