Just a few days ago we saw one of the best wide receivers in the league get traded from the Orange County Otters to the New Orleans Second Line. The Second Line acquired what was seemingly the last hope of an Ultimus from the Otters, who traded away a major offensive piece as their old team turns over a new leaf and gets to a new era of Otters contention. This also gave the Second Line the best receiving group in the league, with Charlie Law, Carlito Crush, Mayran Jackson, Alexandre Leclair, and Paul DiMirio as receivers for the team. This doesn't include standout running back Darren Smallwood either, who added into the equation shows that the Second Line have by far the best offense in the league, and with a stacked defense as well they are surely favorites to win the Ultimus, which would be their second victory, as they won last year as well. The Otters are looking at a new era, one that saw the dominant age of Boss and Westfield is now looking for a new age in Showbiz, Adams, and whoever else they can find in the draft as they start working towards the future, something we haven't seen from the Otters yet in this league.
