Hi everyone, I'm tired.
I'm sorry, that's a little low energy and I heard the kids really like energy.
What I meant to say was:
What the FUCK IS UP, FAM?!
That's right, it's been four months and here comes a new edition of "Jiggly's Tired: A Series Sans Sleep". And boy do I have... Maybe something to talk about? I don't know. We'll figure it out as we go along.
So how've you been?
That's nice. How's the kids?
Cool cool. Wanna hear about my kids? Because there is nothing more that I love than my precious-
PRECIOUS children.
Recently I've been adopting other users as my children. This basically started with a joke @WALDO made by calling me "Mom" once and I just sort of grew into the role. Since then I've taken in @`Fire-Bred`, who I'd already been treating like my child for a while ever since we drafted him to the Otters, and more recently I've adopted the entire "Cross-Cunts" crew (Consisting of @mckee29, @YoungGreekBoy, @SammyG, @Tinkler, @Ricecake, @Hoeforest) because I feel like they need a good mother figure. I will be discussing with you guys about your conduct soon. Maybe. I don't know. You guys haven't really had any issues on site and I've already discussed things with your representative. Some of you don't know you're my children, just know that that means you can come to me with anything and I'll try to give you the best advice I can.
But know that you will also get stern talking tos.
As a segue to the next topic, it's Weird Al's birthday today.
Cool cool, moving on.
Speaking of motherhood, there's a weird af rumor that Tegan Atwell is pregnant. While I'd totally write that story for more money, it's not true nor plausible. First off, she openly came out as gay. She even got the league (in my head canon at least) to institute a Pride Night. So having her suddenly be pregnant, idk, it takes away from the story I'm trying to build. Would it be weird and interesting to write about? I guess. But it would rip apart a character I worked very hard on building up as a specific person. I don't toss around bits and facts about characters on a whim and I especially want to handle Tegan's story with care because I've seen someone before in this league not take care of an LGBTQ+ character (Fuck no, I'm not linking to it. That shit was offensive). So yeah, irl, my low production that game was caused by my GM fucking up with the strats and in universe, she had the flu or something similar. I'm not going to throw away months of character development just for some stupid one note joke.
So the final verdict on Tegan Atwell's status:
And complete side-bar on my writing of Tegan's character: I don't claim to understand what it's like to be a gay woman. Whenever I write about her I try to take into account the different ways that different people would talk about her and when I write stuff for her to say I just write about her like she's a human being (Great quote from GRR Martin about why he writes for women so well: "You know I've always considered women to be people."). As I said, I'm not who she is, I am very different from her; but I try my best to take a nuanced approach to the character. If you feel like there's certain things that I don't take into account, feel free to tell me. You never learn if you don't make mistakes, but you can never learn from those mistakes if you don't know they're mistakes.
Woah, we got too serious again there. I keep doing that.
Let's end this on something else. Still kind of serious, but with a much lighter note.
Recently I was on the Draft stream, which was a good time for the most part. Basically, I became the de facto role of "producer" and "talent wrangler", so I'm usually distracted most of the draft looking through comments and dealing with shit behind the scenes. Something happened during that stream and instead of acknowledging it, I've instead tried to filter it. Like a sponge.
So I made a thing called the Wonderdome. Basically, I just want everyone in this league to be happy. This also ties in with the whole "League Mom" thing. No matter how much I may get annoyed with any of you, I don't really hate any of you. Even those who've been utter ass holes to me (HFFO, Archon), I don't truly hate them. I try my best to see the human in people. Does that mean that bullshit should go unpunished? Absolutely not. But forgiveness is an important tool (take notes on this, children) and I'm sure that when you actually calm down and think about it, you can find something nice to say about everyone in this league. And maybe if you show that person kindness, they'll realize that what they've been doing isn't the right thing either.
So yeah, this went in the complete opposite direction of the previous installment. Instead of insulting Asipi, I told everyone to love everyone. Which is a good way to live. Maybe being a mom has changed me a bit. Who knows? We'll see what happens the next time I'm outrageously tired.
Time to watch a really fuckin good movie and go to sleep.
Have fun.
