This a mostly for fun ranking based on no particular scale or any kind of in-depth analysis. I would absolutely sign for any team that is willing to draft me, but these are my rough preferences given the choice. I also didn't take into account any players currently on DSFL teams so that may slightly influence rankings and/or better explain the route teams will take this draft. Feel free to reach out and explain your thought process to me, as I'm still learning the league dynamics and certainly not ready to count anyone out.

These guys have everything I'm looking for in a team. My mom was originally from Baltimore and I love the city and its teams already as a life-long Orioles fan and since they've existed again Ravens fan. I am on great terms with both their GM and co-GM, and would also love to play with a good number of their current players such as Kwame Abayomi Mbanefo, Declan Harp, Verso L'Alto, and Turk Turkleton. Hard to argue with the team's success either, and they've recently made a very forward-looking trade that should keep them near the top for the long term. I was already high on these guys and talking more with slm leading up to the draft as solidified them at the top.
2.
Next up for me is the lovable Otters, who are helped by their unique branding as well as the recent discussions I've had with their leadership. This is another team that has enjoyed a lot of success in their history in the NSFL which is certainly a selling point for me. They also have some of my favorite players in the league, like Danny Grithead, Ricky Adams, Tegan Atwell, Carlito Crush, Marcus Kane, and Angus Winchester. That's one great locker room to step into.

This team may be a surprise placing to some, but I was very impressed by their unique interview process leading up to the draft that I will not be spoiling for the rest of you. Needless to say, BWIII knows what he's doing. I also appreciate this branding that I find more unique than pretty much all of the rest to follow. Holding them behind the other 2 is the lack of immediately recent success on the field as well as a somewhat lacking locker room, though of the players that hang out there a lot I'm on good terms with Lennox Garnett, Achilles Hondo, Felix Hasselhoff, and Adriana Falconi
4.
Another solid and unique branding, and this is another fantastic locker room and especially defensive huddle to step right into, with players like Blackford Oakes, Noah Goodson, and Julian O'Sullivan shutting down opposing offenses and Borkus Maximus III combining with Vladimir Fyodorovich to score at will. They also have the championship pedigree that I'd like to be able to step into - not that it's the most important thing, but it is a thing nonetheless. What they don't seem to have is the ability or possibly the motivation to add me to their team, as I haven't heard from their leadership lately and unless something changes they should be last in line to have a chance at picking me up.
5.
This is a much different situation as the higher up teams, with a team that has clearly been struggling despite some strong leaders that I get along with well. My discussions and previous history with the GM's are the main tie to the 'Cats, as the only other team member of particular note for me is Zapp Brannigan. It would be a possibly interesting challenge to join these up-and-comers that have a young core and try to help with the push towards success, but I'm not sure it makes the most sense for me considering the other factors.
6.
The team itself seems to be going in the right direction, and they have some good people like Bucky Barnes, Kevin Fitzpatrick, and Footballer Sackerman leading the charge that all should have plenty of time left in the league. I don't have any issues with their leadership, more of an unfamiliarity than anything at least relative to many of the teams rated above them. The biggest factor here may be that they already have a pair of good young defensive tackles between the aforementioned Sackerman and Andrew Reese, likely meaning that they would prefer to fill other holes rather than investing in a position of strength. Also not a huge fan of the branding for what it's worth.
7.
This may be a similar situation with the Outlaws, as although some number of them are either aging or behind in their training this team has a lot of bodies on the D-Line already and may look to fill holes elsewhere. Despite the fairly standard branding it would be a great locker room to step into, with the Pennington brothers, Josh Parker, and Cameron Taylor being of particular note. I am also on good terms with their leadership, though we haven't really talked about anything league related recently. They could easily earn a higher spot with a simple hello (hint hint).
8.
Someone had to be last, and while there are a few positives it ended up being the Yeti. To start with those positives, I am in love with the branding. Yetis are awesome and it is a very unique approach to take. I also think highly of their leadership, though as you may have noticed that's a pretty common theme throughout. The team itself is the main problem, as outside of the 2 GM's I don't really know anyone that is still around the locker room on a regular basis, and in general many of their players seem to have stagnated.
